@@StephandPete you're welcome, i am now a subscriber! if you come to chiang mai next time, let me know, i will give you tips on great food places :) :)
I'm 30. loud clubs were never really my thing. maybe once every few years id go if i was invited but i typically stay away from that kind of scene. Bitter truth, my bar, midlife crisis and 7/11 have always been more my vibe. loved how hardly anyone was there too :)
If you can come back and go tot he first bar you went to but was closed, its one of the best cocktails in thailand.. the owner represented thaialnd in the world mixology competitions as did the owner of white rabbit who used to be his partner in a different bar.. Also, Sudsanan is my favourite bar.. its been open 25 years, the location you are at is brand new but made from the material of previous locations.. the music there is incredible but likely you got there late
Oh we’ve been to Nopaburi several times off camera- we love it. But Sudsanan is our fav now, too. We visited many times after that (usually in the afternoon and with kids, which it’s surprisingly great for!) oh and the laarb meatballs- perrrrfect drinking snack!!
@@StephandPete laab meatballs are insane…. We were there last night.. it’s the one dish I’ve ordered for 13 years now.. Pro tip.. Get a bottle of sangsom and hve the tea outside and mix together.. sounds gross but isn’t. Also they sell very local thai white whiskey there as well.
It's a shame you had limited time, there's at least a half dozen other top class little hidden gem cocktail bars within 2km of where you were. Next time!
@@StephandPete Thuub Bar, Gladwell Cocktail Bar, Drinksmith, Mind Cafe (Craft Beer & Homebrew Bar), Hardcocktail bar (a cool little roadside bar with about 100 drinks on the menu) - Then over on Nimman you have Forbidden Bar and The Continental Bar which are my two favourites - Caravan Bar is good and Hotel Yayee nearby has the rooftop bar for some sunset views
Night out episodes are super fun. Pete is such a vibe after a couple of drinks.
Let more such episodes keep coming
I've lived in Chiang mai for ten years, and to be fair, you've found places I've never even heard about. You two did great!
Aw thanks! That means a lot! Thinking of filming a part two in December. :)

Night out episodes are bangers!
😅 🥴
Pete seems funny as hell after a few.
😂 he’s pretty funny all the time but beer and a child-free evening certainly helps. -S
That shirt in the thumbnail is an interesting choice
I'm not Thai, but Thailand always feels like my second home. I really enjoy watching the travel videos from there!
Thanks for watching!

Too bad you two never made it to The White Rabbit 🐇 Coolest bar in town, literally, colder than “Seven” inside; bring a jacket. Neat hideout.
You must visit the CHILLOUT.
멋지네요~^^❤
Many Koreans here in Chiang Mai!
I’m 55 and end up eating at 7/11 too.
Happens to the best of us. 😆
