Greg Wiseman who was the co-creator of Spectacular Spider-Man and also created Young Justice has said that if they had moved ahead with the show, they would have introduced Scorpion, Hydro-Man, The Hobgoblin, the return of Eddie Brock and the Symbiote, the introduction of Cletus Cassidy and Carnage, a plot line with Dr. Connors trying to cure Electro, expanding on the conflict between Black Cat and Spider-Man, the Osborn family having more development along with Kraven and Calypso, believe it or not even introducing Morbius, exploring the the shared past of Tombstone and Robbie Robertson and further development with Peter and Gwen's relationship. The ultimate end goal was to end the show with Peter and Mary Jane getting married.
Unfortunately, I doubt it would happen. Or at least it would feel the impact of modern times. Disney has blacklisted the use of T'Challa in practically all media after the unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman. Look at X-Men '97 for example. They have his dad being Blackpanther in it, despite T'Challa confirming T'Chakka's death in the 90's Fantastic Four. Without T'Challa, EMH wouldn't be the same.
It would be incredible if season 3 happened, tut despite the fact that Marvel owns the animated TV rights to make Spider-Man shows, the rights to Spectacular Spider-Man belong to Sony.
My favourite Spider-Man actor is a tie between Josh Keaton and Yuri Lowenthal. They are both amazing and I feel they both excel at different aspects of the character.
Josh Keaton is my all-time favorite Spider-Man voice. I think he embodies the role. I think he’s also the only Spider-Man I actually had a New York accent as well.

Absolutely this is the best Spider-Man show ever period. There's so many things I really want to see. Developing the relationship between Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson. Because they are without the best Marvel couple. These are the best versions of them in the media. I want them to hang out with each other more. Since he broke up with Liz and Gwen just left him hanging and humiliated. They fall in love with each other and become a couple. Also MJ finds out Peter is Spidey. Maybe they are with their aunts. There's helicopters. Peter says he has to go. MJ decides to follow him and see what makes him mysterious. She sees him change into his suit and swings away. She realises that all this time. Everyone thinks Peter is selfish. But in reality he is the most selfless of them all. Later she tells him she knows and opens about her backstory. Afterwards they pull into a hug. Then they look into each other's eyes. Then they kiss. They see why their aunts wanted them to meet. Because they are perfect for each other.
specular spider man was so cool you can almost lose yourself in his life of peter parker alone and then his physic as spiderman is so lean and quick and strong. it would'v been interesting if in season 3 mj starts going for peter and finds out he's spider man and then they start something then it's just a whole mess but that's life lmao
Some people loved Rino Romano from the ps1 game so much that he became synonymous with how they heard and read Spidey in the comics. I think James Arnold Taylor from Friend or Foe was an awesome spider-man. Young, but not too young, very quippy, just the right amount of angst, lol. He also voiced Ratchet in Ratchet and Clank, Johnny Test, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. I think he did the character justice.
Maybe I’m alone or I’m just unique but I personally stand by the opinion that Peter Parker in this series has better chemistry with Liz Allen than Gwen Stacy! Of course I also heard another reviewer say that and so clearly you guys are just more taken in by Gwen but I’m team Liz and no one can tell me otherwise! However I’m always happy to hear praise for this show in any form but in my personal version of the show Peter X Liz is the endgame! Definitely love this show as a Marvel gem of the early 2000s.

Flash gives him what's what when Harry insults Spider-Man and calls him a murderer. Flash pushes him against the lockers. Tells him that Spidey is a true hero. Asking Harry if he's forgetting all the lives he's saved including Gwen. Making Harry go silent. Flash really sticks it in when he says that Spider-Man is triple the man Norman Osborne ever was. Says he would give his life for Spidey. Because he is his idol. Just drops him and goes to Sha Shaun. Who's really impressed by Flash's loyalty to Spider-Man. Because she's a fan of Spider-Man as well. I want Josh Keaton's Spider-Man to get organic web 🕸️ shooters. Just like Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. Because the mechanical web shooters never made sense to me. Because what's the point of getting the abilities of a spider 🕷️ except for the one thing they are most famous for. I want the reveal that Captain George Stacey knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man.

The thing is tho, how does the venom symbiote survive on the outside of the space shuttle after it goes through the atmosphere in Spectacular Spider-Man... If symbiotes are weak to extreme heat plus the (loud noise) sonic boom?And on that topic how did it survive on the meteorite in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 movie? Also I always wondered why Aunt May and Uncle Ben never asked Toby's Peter why he just suddenly stopped wearing glasses all of a sudden, knowing that he doesn't have contacts? Another thing is why did Andrews Peter still wear his father's glasses after he got his powers? Granted it was only a few scenes but it just came to mind.🫲🏻🤓🫱🏻
Plus just going through space itself by a star our size is going to be a taddd toasty, you don't have any atmosphere to protect you from the extreme heat radiating off the sun.
But now if the venom symbiote stayed on the dark side of an astroid or comit as it came into our solar system and then noticed a space shuttle, leaping onto it before it crispyfied and squeezed its way into the space shuttle to survive then it would make sense. Lol if anybody reads this. I had to go on my nerd/geek rant to get that out there and if any writer wants to collaborate with me I'm down bc I can illustrate for comics 👍🏻
