Props to spectacular spiderman for having THE BEST interpretations of every single character in the spiderman setting. Like damn, it's both loyal to the comics and expands the nature of so many characters. Flash Thompson is a good example, he's not just a musclebound goon, or a douchebag in an Audi, he's got hidden depths underneath. He loses a bet, he keeps to it, he sticks to his guns and plays fair in the football games. He's a bully, but he's got a soul.

This adaptation was insane. And the fact that they took the time to establish MJ and her friendship with Pete before starting any sort of romance was absolutely genius. Will never get over this show getting cancelled, and MJ is a big reason why.
I know right, I seriously love that they don’t treat her as a love interest or do any “will they won’t they moments” to hint towards the audience. In fact she is trying to help Peter with his Liz and Gwen situation. By not treating her as another love interest to Pete and have her be more the advice giver to Peter it really gives off the impression that she would be great for Peter eventually, once he has a stronger footing on his life.
MJ has Peter on lockdown, letting Gwen and Liz be with him first is just a courtesy. Especially since I’m pretty sure, if the show had continued, MJ and Peter would’ve gotten married.

One of the biggest crimes was when they couldn't continue making this show, because this was the best depiction of Spider-Man ever from any show or movie in my opinion, and when I heard all the plans for future seasons I was even more furious because of the things we could have seen but we didn't. Honestly as much as I want this show to come back and see it through to the end, I would only accept it if the whole team came back, and they didn't change the original vision for the show, but to be as it would have been if the production of the show had not stopped, although that scenario has a 10% chance to happen out of 100%.
