They were apparently thinking of bringing the 90's show back, but Spectacular is a lot more difficult to do as the show itself is owned by Sony, but the not the rights to Spiderman himself, and Disney hold the rights to Spiderman, but not Spectacular Spiderman. The only way for it to come back is for Disney and Sony to reach an agreement like they've been doing with the MCU Spiderman.
There's a lot of things that could've been adapted to Season 3 of Spectacular Spider-Man. -Peter upgrading his web gear -Miles Warren becoming the Jackal and starting the Clone Saga -Flash Thompson becoming Agent Venom -Venom and Spider-Man fighting Carnage in an episode adaptation of Maximum Carnage -John Jameson becoming Man-Wolf when Kraven injects him with a serum that enhances the spores inside John's DNA. -Harry Osborn taking on the mantle of Green Goblin -Roderick Kingsley becoming Hobgoblin -Hobie Brown becoming the Prowler -introducing Scorpion -a story arc revealing Herman Schultz as The half brother to Montana, Leader of the Enforcers before Herman takes on the mantle of Shocker -Morbius -introducting Morlun -Stan Carter becoming the Sin Eater -Crime Master -Kingpin taking over the criminal underworld as the new big Man of crime when he incriminates Tombstone with Evidence that sends him to prison. -Peter and Gwen Stacy get Married

I think the part I loved most about it is they didn’t introduce/treated her as Peters love interest (you know do the whole will they won’t they, one character leaves and the other looks in longingly, add romantic music quo schtick) this actually allowed the two to talk like two people together, it made the impression “huh MJ would make for a good girlfriend for Peter, but later down the line, once he gets a better footing in his life”
They changed Kingsley’s profession from fashion designer to perfume mogul in regard to the character’s VERY first appearance, in where he was attacked by a woman named Belladonna, who used gasses.

He said that the reason why Peter and MJ got together in the comics was because of the death of their shared best friend, Gwen Stacy. He also spoke about addressing her death in straight to video DVDs after the show ended. Granted, these interviews took place while the show was still running. Things change and since Greg is never going to continue the show anyway, walking back and saying he wouldn't kill Gwen is a nice political answer. But, I don't believe he would walk away from it if given a chance. You don't get a Peter and MJ marriage without Gwen's death, Gwen doesn't die, he marries Gwen. Weisman is even telling you this in his current Spectacular Spider-Men comic as well.

After telling him she's known Peter's secret since Uncle Ben was murdered. It would have led to their first kiss. It would have been interesting to see how Peter makes his mechanical web shooters. Because I always wondered. If he barely has money to pay for bills. Then how does he make these 2 wrist gauntlets and web fluid that would cost lots of money? This could have led to a story where he gets organic webs 🕸️. Just like Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. To me Tobey Maguire is the best live action Spider-Man and Josh Keaton is the best animated Spider-Man. I really want to see that pathetic and ungrateful wimp Harry get what's coming to him. MJ calling him out on how he treats Peter after everything he's done for him. Flash also getting up Harry for calling Spider-Man a murderer. Asking him if he's forgetting all the good he has done. Seriously, imagine if Disney never own the rights to Marvel back in the late-2000s. Like imagine some other companies that would've own Marvel Comics instead, like... Sony... Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know of Sony's infamously stupid decisions of making an Spider-Man movie universe without Spider-Man, which is completely overly-the-top stupid. But yet, they also made the Spider-Verse animated movies. So, that's a plus. So, since Sony still own the film rights to Spider-Man... it's kinda complicated to talk about the future of the MCU's Spider-Man movies and stuff... So, if Sony did got the chance, we could see Kevin Feige to do some mature storytelling, had it not be for Disney's meddling and stuff. Or could be some other companies that would've own the rights to Marvel instead of Disney, like Universal Studios. Or heck, imagine Marvel Studios were instead an independent studio, just saying. Than again, we would or wouldn't got The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes in some ways. But, that for another time and stuff... So, what's your guys and gals think of it? Yes you are right. MJ is Peter's soulmate but again we already have plenty of adaptations of their realtionship across games, shows, comics and movies. Also since the multiverse's introduction to Marvel years ago, who's to say that in every universe Peter and Gwen's realtionship ends in tragedy or them not being made for each other?

I watched The Spectacular Spider-Man in its original run years ago and I honestly never saw the big deal out of it. You see, there's a lot of things that are supposedly only "popular" years after the fact, and only on the internet. Like the movies GalaxyQuest and SkyHigh suddenly becoming cult classics despite _nobody_ talking about them at the time of their release. The Spectacular Spider-Man is one of those shows that only suddenly became popular ten+ years after its cancellation. It was never on a level of Firefly or The Sarah Connor Chronicles where it was popular for its time, but got cancelled too early. No; I've literally never heard anyone mention anything about this show until like 2018. So unless I were to go back and rewatch it, I honestly can't say it was ever any good, for the fact I don't even remember anything about it and it never stood out to me at all, unlike Batman the Animated Series; which actually was good enough to spawn the entire DC Animated Universe out of it. TL;DR: The Spectacular Spider-Man is extremely overrated and probably 'mid' at best.
I truly wondered if the gwen stacy we're going to see in the spectacular spider men series is either another bs clone, an android (made ba arcade) or from a different universe entirely though because of what peter and gwen's lives would've been if she had lived like starting a family altogether similar to house of m in that matter?
As much as I like "The Spectacular Spider-Man", fans must move on from this storyline as it won't happen. Two reasons why it won't is because: 1. Greg Seisman is producing the "The Spectacular Spider-Men" comic and has introduced Miles Morales into this universe. Kenny is not dating Glory Grant anymore, he's dating a girl he works with at a coffee shop. I think it's "The Coffee Bean". 2. "Spider-Man Freshman Year" is coming out soon, so the storyline from "The Spectacular Spider-Man is no more, and Greg Weisman is taking this story in another direction with "The Spectacular Spider-Men" comic. It's a shame, we'll never get closure for this cartoon.

Im glad this show might have made venom the main villain cuz he kinda already was and because this venom is the best adaptation of venom hes a villain hes sadistic and is perfect i'v heard that thats what they were gonna do and i would have loved it it would be in character for him and i don't like venom as an anti hero hes not a bad character when he is anti heroes are just boring period really and venom is really boring as an anti hero and we were absolutely robbed with this shows cancelation😢 but one thing i don't like about what they were gonna do is the whole peters parents thing i never liked that it takes away from him being relatable cuz his parents are secret agents or something i just prefer the spider bite just happening plus its just a awkward and weird story line especially in the 90s series and i liked kraven and spectaculer is the best spider-man show and adaptation ever...and who's man wolf? and mj is best girl and i thought in a interview someone who worked on the show said that gwen was gonna die in the collage movie? And prowler wasn't gonna be miles uncle?

I know it’s a unpopular opinion but I Really wanted to see Spider-Man unlimited season 2 get made and I wish Disney + would do it but I’m going to fanfiction of what was going to happen instead because Larry Brody said I could do his original idea but Spider-Man TAS is more likely to come back and be Called Spider-Man 98 🙂 but I know there a lot of people that want spectacular Spider-Man to gets it’s season 3 well everyone is allowed to want to see any Spider-Man show that got cancelled Get a comeback because everyone has there own opinion 🙂
Spectacular Spider-Man was a great series, but I am glad we got the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon.

I watched The Spectacular Spider-Man in its original run years ago and I honestly never saw the big deal out of it. You see, there's a lot of things that are supposedly only "popular" years after the fact, and only on the internet. Like the movies GalaxyQuest and SkyHigh suddenly becoming cult classics despite _nobody_ talking about them at the time of their release. The Spectacular Spider-Man is one of those shows that only suddenly became popular ten+ years after its cancellation. It was never on a level of Firefly or The Sarah Connor Chronicles where it was popular for its time, but got cancelled too early. No; I've literally never heard anyone mention anything about this show until like 2018. So unless I were to go back and rewatch it, I honestly can't say it was ever any good, for the fact I don't even remember anything about it and it never stood out to me at all, unlike Batman the Animated Series; which actually was good enough to spawn the entire DC Animated Universe out of it.
TL;DR: The Spectacular Spider-Man is extremely overrated and probably 'mid' at best.
I truly wondered if the gwen stacy we're going to see in the spectacular spider men series is either another bs clone, an android (made ba arcade) or from a different universe entirely though because of what peter and gwen's lives would've been if she had lived like starting a family altogether similar to house of m in that matter?

As much as I like "The Spectacular Spider-Man", fans must move on from this storyline as it won't happen.
Two reasons why it won't is because:
1. Greg Seisman is producing the "The Spectacular Spider-Men" comic and has introduced Miles Morales into this universe. Kenny is not dating Glory Grant anymore, he's dating a girl he works with at a coffee shop. I think it's "The Coffee Bean".
2. "Spider-Man Freshman Year" is coming out soon, so the storyline from "The Spectacular Spider-Man is no more, and Greg Weisman is taking this story in another direction with "The Spectacular Spider-Men" comic. It's a shame, we'll never get closure for this cartoon.
