Have fun...I am always tweaking, improving these builds to pull out more bass/sound. This black one is pretty sexy sounding and looks like a something from the the Death Star on Star Wars
Good luck...this is why I do videos (to help others with their creations, inspire others, etc). Or, at least, show viewers what "not" to do (ie -- some might not like what I do). Bottom line, what I did with this one will beat anything DIY made seen on YT. I also made a 600w one with two 8" subs, two 6.5" coaxials, and PRV tweeters.
In this build, I ended up using a 20v DeWalt battery + 36v step-up booster. Working perfectly. And, can use a solar panel to recharge the DeWalt. th-cam.com/video/nPXQldDdNC0/w-d-xo.html
Isn't that a 400w subwoofer? Are you getting good bass from that amp (hard to tell from video). If so, this is so much easier amd cheaper than trying to include a 300-400w amp, which is essentially what ive been trying to figure out how to do. Im assuming thay, and maybe you said it and i missed it, you bridged the left and right channels of the amp?
So cool man I specifically looked up "homemade bluetooth speaker with 10" subwoofer" to see if anyone had made one because I want to make one to throw on the back of my ebike because I have a cart on the back that I screwed into the bike rack to put my soundcore speakers in but want something with a little more bass without resorting to getting like a partybox 310 but this is way cooler than I imagined.
No, I don't sell these. 99.9% of people laugh when I give them a price. The parts costs alone are more than what people are expecting to pay. And, I don't negotiate...I have found people like to haggle on price. When I say the price, it is my bottom line. Something like this one costs over $1,200+. NFS
Hi. Do you find yourself having to use an external Bluetooth antenna because of weak range w the aluminum sound deadener on the inside? I think I ran into this issue but I can’t add antenna in my build. So not a very long range.
Yep...same here with my metal ammo cans. Range is limited. With this new build...great (normal) range. I have a high gain antenna I can use with it too (if needed). These little digital chip amps have a SMA-BT jack on the back, so all I did was buy an extension cable. Easy
Any recommendations for marine grade subwoofer and tweeters? I was going to build a box with an 8”, but not after seeing that 10” subwoofer is possible, I’m back to square one. Would hurt the speakers if they were to get wet if the box is sealed (meaning only the exterior of the speaker would get wet)
I'd use a polypropylene 10" DVC woofer if the unit was exposed to splashing water or lots of humidity. As for tweeters, I would consider piezo ones. The 10" Skar I got in this one is treated paper...it will survive some moisture and abuse. But, bottom line, speakers need to be from rain and water. You can always throw a Walmart grocery bag over it when out boating.
You’ve always done a great job combining tweeters and sub, and the cable management is impressive
You should put build kits and sell them man.
I've been binge watching your videos and getting great ideas for my projects. Thank you

Nice! Thanks for the view. Yeh, I gotta an eBike too, I need a back mounted rack to strap this on onto it. Good idea
@@ChrisDIYerOklahoma Yeah it makes riding a lot more fun
if you had to build one for the beach would it be this one?
Yes...but a yellow version would look sexier
Those are sweet. You sell any of them?

Excellent
Do you have a build sheet?
No
Ok, I know you are giving us info to do it ourselves, but will you do it for me and how much or sell one you have .
I don't build-to-sell these. There is someone here on YT that does...DIY Boom Boxes of Texas (or something like that)
How long is that
