  • Here is my latest creation. This one sounds excellent with DEEP bass. No bass port, sealed unit. The bass goes down into the 40hz range SMOOTHLY with no rattles or blow-by. This is an acoustically sealed case using a Nobsound 15G digital chip Bluetooth amplifier (100w x 2 rated), Skar Audio IX-10 D2 subwoofer, PRV Audio pure silk dome tweeters, 100w (15 ohm) resistors, Dayton Audio 30uF (250v) capacitors, Mighty Max 12v (10 aH) lithium battery, USB-C (PD) power socket with voltmeter, 12v lighted SPST on/off switch, Bluetooth antenna, and a 5.5mm x 2.5mm DC power jack. Weight is 24 lbs. I do not build these to sell. Parts alone are well over $500 and my building, testing, and tweaking the sound time is way more than that. So, unless someone has DEEP pockets, I do NOT consider making one to sell. This is made for the the LOVE of deep bass, great audiophile-level sound quality, portability, and it looks badazz.

Hi. Do you find yourself having to use an external Bluetooth antenna because of weak range w the aluminum sound deadener on the inside? I think I ran into this issue but I can’t add antenna in my build. So not a very long range.

Yep...same here with my metal ammo cans. Range is limited. With this new build...great (normal) range. I have a high gain antenna I can use with it too (if needed). These little digital chip amps have a SMA-BT jack on the back, so all I did was buy an extension cable. Easy

Those are sweet. You sell any of them?

No, I don't sell these. 99.9% of people laugh when I give them a price. The parts costs alone are more than what people are expecting to pay. And, I don't negotiate...I have found people like to haggle on price. When I say the price, it is my bottom line. Something like this one costs over $1,200+. NFS
