WOW!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this "Expose'". Know I understand what it is, how it works, and how I'd better forget about it until firmware (hopefully - but I'm not holding my breath) makes it easier post processing.
Glad it was helpful! I was unsure on how useful it was actually going to be, but I've been able to capture some images i'd have never got without it. So its useful, just a shame its a little bit annoying to get them onto the computer to edit but tbh, its something if I use, im willing to put in the extra time it takes.
This should be a brilliant feature but the post-processing experience is so bad it is effectively useless. 1. You cannot view 100% versions of the encapsulated raw files without waiting an age for them to load in dpp. 2. As you point out, you cannot bulk extract a bunch of files from a burst. I cannot think of a single use case where you would want to take a dpp-only burst file and condense it into a slightly smaller dpp-only burst file. The lack of bulk extract is a complete deal breaker especially when combined with point 1 because it adds so much pain to the workflow.
@james123j1 true, I've found it invaluable for certain scenarios, but the post processing definitely brings my want to use the feature down drastically, it seems the r5 ii will have it done right... I'm hoping it comes to other cameras as a firmware update, but I don't think so somehow
