Plan is great, I would decorate differently, but that’s personal choice not the structure bones of the home.

Why do designers always go to lofts or two stories? A lot of us are retirees which means mobility issues in a lot of cases. I couldn't manage that right now at 74, much less 10 years down the road!

Deceptive video label: the footprint is 20'x 20', but each floor is 400 sf, so the total living space is abt 800 sf!

This is s really lovely little house. I love the roominess in the living room and the bedroom. Two baths is great! Does need a fireplace.

I've seen plenty of small houses designed for the disabled. They are out there. 😉
No place to hang coats and bags and shoes, no fireplace,no back porch, not much storage either.
I don't like two-story houses because nobody ever cleans out the gutters and this causes a maintenance headache. If you can design a house that doesn't need gutters, boy that would be something? Design your house to be maintenance-free. No grass, no painting, no leaf-raking, just a nice little flower garden.
Beautiful I would wanna tub I can live with everything else. Do they have heating and AC and how much?

No fireplace, moisture from the washer will collect under the stairs, and no one wants a possible flood in the LR. Backless sofas are not comfotable, and the LR isn't the place for twin beds. Who wants to sit around a stump? Put in a firepit?

I had w/d under stairs that vented directly outside. Moisture was never a problem (for 25yrs).
The sofa is not backless. Besides, you put in your own furniture.
When I saw the washer and dryer in the kitchen, living room, I stopped watching. Silly design.
