Tiktok loved my edible cookie dough series so let's see how TH-cam feels. Should I post any other flavors? Comment below for an edible cookie dough series!
1 Cup flour (heat treated to kill bacteria, microwave for 15 seconds or pop it in the oven for a few minutes!)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 Tbs white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 Tbs milk
chocolate chips
1. Heat treat flour
2. Combine butter, and sugars into a mixing bowl and mix until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and salt. Slowly add milk.
3. Fold in chocolate chips and ENJOY!

I've ate raw flour dough and haven't gotten sick. Heat treating was never something to think about. Lol. And I agree with the first comment. If you already know about heat treating then just go ahead and include that technique in your new recipes.

Single Serve Version-
1/4 cup flour
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2- 2 tsp white sugar
Pinch (1/8 tsp) salt
1 tsp milk
Splash of vanilla (thanks for reminding me :))
2 tbsp chocolate chips but you know you’re gonna add more :)
Original Version-
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp white sugar
Big pinch salt
1 tbsp of milk
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (but be VERY generous :D)

@@Louis-zg4ww it'll be slightly less flavorful, just replace it with more white sugar. If you have molasses add a tiny bit. White sugar with molasses is essentially brown sugar.
An even SIMPLER recipe:
(For one ☝️)
4tbs flour
1-1/2 tbs soft butter
Pinch of salt
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs sugar
3 drops of vanilla
2 tbs chocolate chips
For a more watery dough
1 tbs water
Directions:
---------
Take flour and put in Mircrowave for 45 but stir every 15 seconds. Let cool and then add rest of ingredients. Enjoy!

@Barbara L. Yup! When I make apple butter it's never the same because I always just do a little of this and some of that. You also measure garlic and cheese with your heart
Well in baking if you don't measure your flour and butter and liquid you'll end up with cake soup or a rock... Chocolate chips dont incorporate into the dough and don't effect it based off how much you put in. Generally the more the better lmao

@@Ishartedbro You could try, but it'll taste awful. Worst-case scenario, the taste will make you vomit and then you'll forever feel nauseous when you smell vanilla

Omg this recipe was so good and easy to make thank you! One tip though is the flour, I put it in for a minute and a half and I ruined it. Also I thought that the flour was supposed to be put in first so maybe you should specify that but this was great and we made it super quick!

As long as you live in an area where food borne illnesses such as samonella are uncommon you should be able to eat it raw. Just make sure ur ingredients are good quality.

I never knew that flour had bacteria in it, I always thought only the egg made the raw cookie dough not safe to eat
The egg is generally safe anyways, if you rinse your eggs off before use you should be good because salmonella carries on the outside of the eggs shell
@@whyyousotriggered6050 Yea another tip is if you are eating raw dough is to put a bit of attention towards what ingredients you are adding. Mr. Greg's flower is most likely not going to be as safe for raw dough as pillsbury flower

I think it's different in some countries like America, since there have been infections linked to raw eggs and flour. However, where I live that has never happened, people eat raw eggs for breakfast. All of the eggs are free range not from an overcrowded shed. So I feel safe eating raw cookie dough but it depends where you live

A much easier single serving in recipe is down below
Ingredients:
-flour
-butter
-milk (any kind)
-sugar
-vanilla extract (optional)
-chocolate chips
All you have to do is mix all these together and the measurements are below
-3 table spoons flour
-1 table spoon milk
-1/4 tea spoon vannilla (optional)
-2 tablespoons sugar (brown or white)
- as many chocolate chips as you want
-1 tablespoon of soften butter
Mix together and refrigerate for around 15 mins
If you want a little more flavor add a tiny pinch of salt
Then your done! 💛💛💛

@Username oh joy, now it tastes worse and you will still get "raw flour" poisoning.
@Username he’s saying that flour is the thing in cookie dough that carries ecoli and makes you sick, not the eggs. so vegan cookie dough wouldn’t make a difference.
@Username I'm glad you feel sorry for me but my dear, more things matter than flavor, texture is far important.
Note: one minute in the microwave might not be enough (even for bacteria in water, rolling boil for at least 1 minute is reccomended, which is pretty long when you also add the time it is above 65C). I'd reccomend either more time in thr micro or baking at low temp (like 100C is plenty, you don't want to exactly start toasting your flour at higher temps) for long enough to heat all the flour to that temp. Safety half-assed is sometimes worse than no safety (cause 'unsafe' cookie dough probably encourages some restraint).
Also, if she gets the flour to the temperature danger zone and it DOES have some bacteria in it, the bacteria will rapidly multiple.
But she said one minute and a half...?
