    I did Honolulu to Melbourne on Jetstar, it was a great flight.

      Nice, Jetstar is a pretty good and cheap way to fly to Hawaii from Australia. I’m glad to hear that you also had a good experience on your flight as well. Thank you so much for your comment!

    Jetstar have definitely improved their service, I think they are a decent carrier for some long haul flights. Great video, keep them coming 👍 Mac

    Great review mate, always shocked to see how cheap these Melbourne and Sydney to Honolulu flights with JQ are considering they are relatively very long flights for Jetstar standards!

      Thank you so much! Yeah, I agree, Jetstar do have very low prices to Honolulu then other airlines like Qantas or Hawaiian. They are pretty good at long haul and getting better. I can’t wait for their 787’s to get the new cabin and new livery! Thank you again for your comment! 😃

    Pretty cool flight in this video!
    I haven't been on a flight for nearly five years since late 2019. I was flying Virgin Australia from Gold Coast to Sydney for a school camp in early morning. I then went back home from Canberra to Gold Coast after five days at about 10PM at night. The flights that I did were about an hour.
    I've also been on many international flights from Brisbane to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific and Qantas since about 2008. Haven't been to Hong Kong for more than 6 years from now!

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nice, I have always wanted to fly Cathay Pacific! You have been on some pretty cool flights, especially the international ones. Do you happen to know what Cathay Pacific aircraft you flew on to Hong Kong? Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it! 😃

      @@Qantas.1 With Cathay Pacific, the A330 is probably the only type of aircraft that I can remember when I travelled to Hong Kong and back to Brisbane (also the same to Qantas from 2015, 2016 and 2017).
      By the way, I nearly planned on wanting to fly back to Hong Kong at the end of this year, but with Singapore Airlines (my parents were a little intersted on wanting to go to Hong Kong with Singapore Airlines, and I was a little interested on what the airline is like). By the way, the flight plan said that I travel to Singapore from Brisbane first, and then from Singapore to Hong Kong. I also got a little interested on what it feels like to be in Singapore (only the airport though and getting a bit of a view on what it looks like during the takeoff and landing).

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cool, I have always have an interest in going to Hong Kong so hopefully I can fly Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong if I ever end up going. I live in Adelaide so I would probably have to go Adelaide to Singapore and then Singapore to Hong Kong.
      I didn’t even know there was flights between Brisbane and Singapore until you told me. I knew there was Perth, Melbourne and Sydney to Singapore but I didn’t know there was Brisbane as well. I will have to look up this on Flightradar24!

      Thank you so much, I really appreciate the support! Yeah, I didn’t order any food on the plane because I ate dinner at the airport, had snacks on the plane and had breakfast when we landed so I didn’t really need to. Thank you again for the support! 😃

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, sure. I use iMovie on my iPad to edit all my videos like this trip report and my plane spotting videos. If you don’t have an iPad a computer would work just as well if not better and a phone could also work if you don’t mind having a smaller screen. Have fun when you do go to Sydney!

    When I got to Sydney after the nine-hour Cathay Pacific flight, I was exhausted. I was thinking about taking the video flight to Honolulu, but the ten-hour flight time and the low-cost airline Jetstar scared me off.

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, Jetstar can be a bit of an airline you don’t know to fly or not. After my experience I was actually surprised how Jetstar performed on my two flights. They were both really good and I have no complaints. That’s just my opinion and everyone has a different experience. I totally get it, after the 10 hour flight from Honolulu to Sydney I was so tired to film my last flight from Sydney to Adelaide in Business Class so I just filmed what I could. The video ended up being under half the length of my other trip reports but I had just enough footage to make a trip report. Thank you so much for your comment! 😄

    1:25, Same on Cebu Pacific, Scoot, Vietjet and Easyjet, have to pay to buy food and it's so annoying. I know it's a low cost airline, so I understand. Best low cost airline is Cebu Pacific. Worst low cost airline is Easyjet and Scoot.

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, I just took my jacket off and rested it between my head and the window. It was surprisingly not that uncomfortable.

    • @kevin19358
      @kevin19358 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I see. Without the air vent is worse, the cabin is hot and it's uncomfortable to sleep on the plane on a longer flight.

    Did they weigh your carry on?

    • @Qantas.1
      @Qantas.1  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah, they weighed all of our suitcases and big carry on items/bags. I brought my camera which was in a small bag and they didn’t weigh that so only the large carry on stuff.
