Two stroke four stroke, who cares. There's a bike out there for just about every one, to suit different riding styles ability age and terrain. Just ride and enjoy life, fall over and get up again. MX, Trail, Trials, road or Enduro. Who cares be glad that you can ride. stay happy and 'No Broken Bones' :)
It's against AMA rules , I am sure FIA has a similar rule against sound devices. I like to know as many ppl's names in the classes in front of me as possible, so I can say their name while I pass. If I don't know the name I always say 'thank you' even if they don't move over. When I am ready to pass, I usually say, woo hoo or whooop whoop. I never say anything like NOT IN YOUR CLASS or any yelling. Mostly you are gonna pass people by out braking in a corner or better lines in the woods. They can hear you even ata conversational tone with the throttle down.

It was pretty much over after the first lap providing he did not crash and his endurance held up. How Jarvis can make his front tyre stick and stay on line in conditions like this has got me beat. Most human beings would be on their head multiple times per lap if they tried to go that fast with such an angle of lean. Great footage

Great video, but your description says you were on a two stroke, yet photos of you in the race and the sound would suggest a 4 stroke? Articles seems to say an FE250?
a lot of guys feel they need the 300 2 smoker but in reality they would be better suited to the new 250 4 banger that weighs in at the same weight as the 2 smokers it's called enduro racing not ego racing not saying the 300s a bad bike because it's not but for the average rider its never going to be ridden to full potential
I'm going to comment on this again. 4 stroke engines have a lot more moving mass than a 2 stroke. This causes a high center of gravity gyro effect. Making them feel much heavier than a 2 stroke. Most Enduro style 2 stroke bikes will have the crankshaft lower than the swingarm center line while the motocross styles will put the crank inline with the center line of the swingarm. This changes the stability. The lower crank gives the bike gyro stability. Center line cranks turn easily with minimal gyro effect. Now the problem with the 4 stroke is all the gyro high up in the engine. The higher you rev the worse it gets.

I wanna say lap #6 was his quickest. I could be way wrong but watching from start to finish it seems as though he was really comfortable in the mud and the straight shots he was hauling ass. Idk🤔

pure lies from some comments.. husky and ktm trying to sell small bore 4 strokes.. reality is 2 strokes still are king for endure.. get any top rider off camera and ask them yourself... the 4t just isn't cutting the mustard but they have to ride whatever there main sponsers tell them to... sad story but true.

Jarvs won this with an 8 minute lead and 11 laps done. Only two other riders got 11 laps.
So how does this sort of race work? Is it basically just a timed thing then?
LOl, Stay upright, don'tt break the bike, and finish in the quickest time while doing all the above. Sounds easy,, bit man how much skill. Loved it.

Prove that the 250 4 stroke weighs the same. There is quite a difference last I checked.
Marc Russell the 2 stroke 300 will pull at a lower RPM than a 4 stroke and they have more instantaneous rev.
