    Momentum momentum momentum...if you stop it all goes to hell. Jarvis is master at picking lines that nobody else uses whether they are good lines or not is irrelevant. The only thing that really matters is keeping your momentum and having full confidence that you can conquer the next element that is ahead of you. Helluva job GJ

    • @mikhail2400
      @mikhail2400 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I was thinking the same thing. Jarvis picks lines that one person in a hundred would take and makes them work. In tight wooded areas and slick muddy rocky areas he slips thru spots no one sees and its unbelievable. He shines in all areas of endure but his ability to keep moving forward at all times is what makes him so fast.

      Some of those lines I was thinking, no chance, but he just floats across it all.

  • @ptarka
    @ptarka 6 ปีที่แล้ว +30

    Fantastic!! I see now what makes him the best. Its his "slow and steady wins the race" style. If you notice, he never ever revs his bike hard, or gives full throttle like he is desperate to get ahead, or catch up. What makes him such a good rider is his ability to pick and choose the fastest, safest, most direct route so incredibly fast whilst at the same time watching what's happening right in front of him without ever any error. With these things perfected he doesent need to ride fast, he just needs to keep going!! Fantastic riding skills!

    • @michiganmafiamx5543
      @michiganmafiamx5543 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ptarka Smartest, cagiest, wiliest racer in the group. While a technically amazing rider, his biggest asset is his decision making skills lap after lap are incredible. That comes from many things, but I believe he spends time walking the track and remembering options for lines like no one else.

    How is the bike so stabled in such rough conditions? Mud and wet rocks and his bike goes over it like its not even there

      With a helmet mounted camera it always 'looks' more stable. You could see one real bad hole though, each lap his head came down when he hit it. You need incredible stamina to ride at that level and some luck doesn't hurt either. The drop into stream by bridge looked real steep and nasty. I wish video's like this had been around when I was riding enduro's, you can learn a lot from an expert, even if you only manage to follow for couple hundred yards
