Tyler, you should do a video on how the average rider stacks up to the likes of Jarvis and his fellow endure cross racers and how watching these races can improve your skills!
there are videos of other riders. they get a DNF even though they crossed the finish line because it took them too long. These guys make the rocks look easy. Watch the other videos and you and see how hard it is.
Watch the start of race 6:05 camera gets cleaned 18:00 crazy cross hare on hillside 22:25 interesting pipe obstacle 28:14 well handled overtake 30:20 re-fuel & intense hill climb 31:40 another hard rocky incline 39:30 crazy decent 41:54 approaches interesting bottleneck With lots of people struggling for a while here... 47:43 beginning of some gnarly rocks 53:00 very steep to navigate 58:21 catches some more riders & then encounters a tough rock incline 1:03:25 approaches hard decent 1:06:30 rocks are hard to navigate & Jarvis stacks 1:15:34 these rocks are unforgiving & followed by another stack 1:19:00 ride ahead stacks & Jarvis seizes opportunity for a sneaky pass 1:22:20 the hardest decent! WoW! Checkpoint! 1:24:35 Lets loose on a hill climb & has to re-try! The rocks that follow have to be the hardest... slow & edurance based. Very technical to navigate , 1:26:56 Leading up to a rival pass soon after
Graham while i sat in my chair and watched this i was leaning , balancing , breaking, throttling and doing all i could . i hope it helped lol great video great ride smashed the thumbs up
just incredible riding. amazing to see such skill and grace on 2 wheels. when i was a kid (13 or 14) I rode in the R.M. Wheeler National enduro in Tulsa, OK. It rained like 4 inches the night before the race and i was riding a KX 80 lol. Needless to say my small wheels got stuck in the ruts from bigger bikes constantly. It was a 3 lap race... I saw Dick Burleson pass me TWICE before i finished a lap and gave up. At the time Dick B was a master of enduro racing, mid or early 80's...i think this was 85. Anyway it was an honor just to see this guy effortlessly traverse this shit bog course like it was nothing. Kind of like watching this vid. Just wow.
Most tense yet enjoyable hour & thirty I've watched in a long time. Unbelievable torture through the never ending boulders. Congratulations on your placing too.
Graham is not my favorite rider by far, but, his a god on that bike! Even if he is 43, he is one of the best riders all time! I must admit that and I respect him for his talent, determination and strength! Young riders are coming strong but is good to have a rider so experienced as Graham to teach them a thing or two :)! If I would compare him with another rider, I would compare him with my idol Valentino Rossi! Two old guys mixed up in a world of young riders, but the two of them, still stand up from the crowd! I hope both of them will continue racing as long as possible!
Typically they'll send it back to the mechanics and they'll make it good to go again. Then he'll take it to the next race. With all the performance mods these bikes are close to 15,000, so he's probably not getting a new one for every race
Graham , that was absolutely fantastic ! You are one amazingly talented rider. Watching you ride is like listening to Pavarotti sing.....simply brilliant! Bravo Brother , Bravo! Oh hey, did you ever find your rear brake lever ? I think it was in another zip code.
any time i watch graham ride in any race i always feel like he's the tortoise and everyone else is the hare. he never seems too worried about being passed in the beginning and he's most likely to pass back in the end. he shows us what 'slow is fast' is.
at around the 1:07 mark, the great Graham Jarvis falls off the bike and seems to almost get stuck under it... like i do all the time. Thanks Graham, you are no longer inhuman ;)
Watching Jarvis overtake riders in Carl's Dinner is a thing o' beauty. It cracks me up the guys who, when it's wide open, flat out throttle pinned try to stay in front. But in the rocks, they all just fade behind lol
He is looking down to the right many times and also tried to bend the rear brake pedal on Machine (and at 59:00) and goes downhill with the engine off, did he have rear brake issues?
rufusz idk about the bending part, but I know practicing going down steep inclines with the engine off let's you here and feel the brakes better, if your trying not to lockup.
There are places where it was not steep at all and he still shut off his motor. I suspect the rear brake lever was sticking so he shut the motor to use the clutch while in gear as a brake, which would make his 2nd place more amazing. Cooling the piston in my mind is reason number two, although I suspect he gets a new piston every race and not many folks seize in this event. Finally, I could be wrong but I just do not buy the listening to the brake story alone, when its easy to tap and release, and we are talking about the stoppie master. Epic show Mr Jarvis. I too hope there is a second part release of the helmet cam footage. Thanks for sharing!
Scallie __ i don't agree, the rotating mass of the engine gives you stability. I usually switch off the engine only if it's very steep and can't use the rear brake because it's off camber and have to use right foot for dabbing
In some Videos of Graham teaching a private class, he makes my very point. And until we ask him ourselves, i still believe the brake lever was bent in, not stuck applying pressure, and at least half the parts i saw him kill the engine WERE steep. Otherwise he wouldn't be creeping down it at 1-2mph.. Havent you ever heard of EVERY vlogger complaining about videos not giving hills justice??? tldr it's probably both, but there's no way to convince the internet detectives..
i wonder how your GoPro is mounted, at first I thought it was mounted on the visor, but now I see the visor shakes seperately from the helmet... so that means you have it mounted to the helmet itself? But how?? There is barely enough space under there.
Is something being used on the helmet rigging for the cam to "float" the cam? I see it moves around a bit and i'm pressuming its to stabiblize the image?
Why don't they use transponders like they do here in the states? You just ride right thru and it beeps. Those at Erzberg seem to waste a lot of time before they record the rider. I've noticed the same kind used at other hard enduros.
Thank you for uploading this man idk why they don't have a red bull series out for 2017? They delete it or somthing lol but love watching you every single year man what's been with these dust days never b4 seen than happens like 4 years ina row haha
I been watching a lot of dirtbike videos lately, crusty demons, and this Graham Jarvis dude always seems to get a lot of views. he seems good in the slow parts and OK at fast riding. If he worked on his speed he could be a real good rider and superstar
What camera an mount are you using that it's right under your visor!? I like that an havent bought anything because that's where I'd like it an want to record some of my rides!? Thanx in advance
the guy who wiped off the gopro lens at the first checkpoint. Someone needs to buy that guy a beer.
th-cam.com/video/aBBeQe6cuf4/w-d-xo.html
High five to the lens wipey guy! Awesome video Graham, thank you!
Tyler, you should do a video on how the average rider stacks up to the likes of Jarvis and his fellow endure cross racers and how watching these races can improve your skills!
+Andrew Hansen lol that video wouldn't even show the average rider Jarvis would be done by the time a typical rider hit 20%
there are videos of other riders. they get a DNF even though they crossed the finish line because it took them too long. These guys make the rocks look easy. Watch the other videos and you and see how hard it is.
Jersey Dual Sport , doing my homework. Lol.

I'm a fan so I love seeing Graham win but I like seeing the bikes in front of him because it gives you a better feel of what he's going through.
So gifted. I'm just grateful for the ability to ride along virtually.
th-cam.com/video/aBBeQe6cuf4/w-d-xo.html
where's the second half? i hope it's not lost because of gopro's battery
Who else watched It Till The End 🖒
Me
It’s to Muddy on the GoPro it’s like he doesn’t care ayy 😂
Only 10 minutes
th-cam.com/video/aBBeQe6cuf4/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful scenery and riding!
the king of enduro
Super EASY course did the whole thing on my couch!
🤣
at the hill before checkpoint 5, when he had to turn around, I was sure he would scream. but he didn't...
Juv-Husky if it makes you feel any better I did

Finally!!!!!!!!!! Ive been waiting for this video thanks Graham
threefiddyone fucking amazing that ride
I know dude hes an animal
vamos conversar em portugues?
threefiddyone
.
Most tense yet enjoyable hour & thirty I've watched in a long time. Unbelievable torture through the never ending boulders. Congratulations on your placing too.
i'm 99% sure he lost his rear brake pedal tip. When he tips over at 1:06:45 I don't see it. Also explains him bending over to bend it out some.
Pause the video at 1:06:56. Brake tip is there, just smashed flat.
probably why he turned his bike off every downhill
"Fuck Off"
-Graham Jarvis 2017
this man is literally a machine! every move he makes is made with precision, and his bike control is out of this world..
idk who deserves more credit. The riders who can ride a course like this or the event organizers who put this course together.
THANKS!!!! I've been waiting patiently for this!! Excellent job getting through the crowds, love from Canada!!!!
My right arm is numb from squeezing the mouse and the net cable is twisted from pulling it with the left hand, I am exhausted. Great video!
my right arm is alot stronger than my left arm
BEST bit of footage ever seen well done Graham
Some of those downhills had me clenching me buttcheeks
Insane, off-camber, steep, rocks... twisty..
You make it look so easy ! No revving out, just soft ! Awesome !
Looks like they hired cute checkpoint girls as incentive to stop.
Lol
Großes Kino und großer Sport. Respekt vor der Leistung dieser Athleten.
Absolutely love watching you ride, Graham!
AMAZING! Great footage (again!!) Graham. Thanks for entertaining us fans. An inspiration to all in the sport.
I got arm pump and chest pain just watching this. Well done Mr. Jarvis!
at 30:51 you can tell Jarvis was getting pissed at people riding out in front of him when he was about too go😂
Lol, hear a little "F off" there!
absolutly incredible. you are the best hard enduro rider
Not bad i got 10 hrs experience can do a 2 second wheelie i think i could take u graham 😂
Wow! Brings back some great memories...thanks!!! :-)
Absolutely Fantastic video well done hats off to you Sir! Such skill, stamina and speed
43:50 for the Haaker & Walker smash up! Those are some dirty moves Colton.
Amanda Dorscht that was Colton and Manny
super ...Very exciting... thanks jarvis, thanks organization...
You are a beast.... Your navigating skills are on point! Well done mate. It is awesome watching you ride :)
God I wish I could get my suspension floating over bumps like that........great riding Graham!
What happens to the bikes after a race like this? For sale "Raced only once"?
Philip Squire "never rode hard, brand new plastics"
Typically they'll send it back to the mechanics and they'll make it good to go again. Then he'll take it to the next race. With all the performance mods these bikes are close to 15,000, so he's probably not getting a new one for every race
The bikes the pros run are nearly almost completely stock outside of some tweaks to suspension and perhaps some other very minor tweaks.
Dude you are a beast that was unreal and supercross riders cry about arm pump I'm speechless i can't believe what I just saw
Amazing video Graham! Thanks for sharing!!
This puts everything into perspective. Thank you.
Graham , that was absolutely fantastic ! You are one amazingly talented rider. Watching you ride is like listening to Pavarotti sing.....simply brilliant! Bravo Brother , Bravo! Oh hey, did you ever find your rear brake lever ? I think it was in another zip code.
Wow! Amazing rider on nearly impassable terrain makes for a great video!
Wow , what a mission , Thanks for sharing this Graham , You are an awesome rider man, Much respect.
Some of this terrain was just ridiculous. Graham and those guys are insane.
thank you for upload Graham!!
Big fan of Graham. He is hardcore and humble and an amazing talent.
Long time waiting!!! You are the best!!!
6:03 Give this guy a medal
I only hope there is part 2
well you can hope but that all :D
2:07 fucking hell!! :)
Endless rock garden. Damn rocks are growing faster than Mr. Jarvis can get over them.
Bloody hero. Amazing how he uses the electric start to help him through the boulder fields.
Truly great driving man!! making it look effortless
Man i love gopro view video. Need more of this stuff
Why the f&@k are there side x sides ripping down the course making dust ?
thats what I was wondering. and groups of bikes going the opposite way?
any time i watch graham ride in any race i always feel like he's the tortoise and everyone else is the hare. he never seems too worried about being passed in the beginning and he's most likely to pass back in the end. he shows us what 'slow is fast' is.
at around the 1:07 mark, the great Graham Jarvis falls off the bike and seems to almost get stuck under it... like i do all the time. Thanks Graham, you are no longer inhuman ;)
Super.. And finish is not? Low battery in camera?
I wonder if that husqrvarna guy at the end was a team member placed to help Jarvis with his lines
Watching Jarvis overtake riders in Carl's Dinner is a thing o' beauty. It cracks me up the guys who, when it's wide open, flat out throttle pinned try to stay in front. But in the rocks, they all just fade behind lol
Nobody better with a clutch, in the clutch, then Sir Jarvis.
God bless the guy who wipes off the cameras! You're my hero Graham. Have a little man crush lol!
Thanks for posting this!
Why take it so easy through the big flat sections? Is it due to the low visibility and the chance of a really big rock you can't see?
20:36 Is it Ludwig's Land ? Was it changed, eventually?
Nice ride, like to see the rest. How did those rocks feel? Looks like it could hurt.
so where is the ending? Watched all of this video with no ending...wonderful
what bike does he use ? the guy in front of him couldnt resist his push his tongue probably sticks to his boots
Thank you Graham. Youre the man!!!
what is this, riding dirtbikes directly uphill?
He is looking down to the right many times and also tried to bend the rear brake pedal on Machine (and at 59:00) and goes downhill with the engine off, did he have rear brake issues?
rufusz idk about the bending part, but I know practicing going down steep inclines with the engine off let's you here and feel the brakes better, if your trying not to lockup.

tldr it's probably both, but there's no way to convince the internet detectives..
all this shit is steep AF
Watching from a kings head.
When will Red Bull release the full series ?
For any of the drivers,do you appreciate the dudes that point out the trail or do you prefer you do it on your own
i wonder how your GoPro is mounted, at first I thought it was mounted on the visor, but now I see the visor shakes seperately from the helmet... so that means you have it mounted to the helmet itself? But how?? There is barely enough space under there.
V-E D'hoore The shaking is from the stability software. It makes it seem like it's moving separate
aha, so it is fixed to the visor then! Thanks for that
15:10 So, he is human...
Nope, he only did that on purpose so that you wouldn't realize he is actually from Krypton...
Great ride Graham!
@@joeyzig 😂
Is something being used on the helmet rigging for the cam to "float" the cam? I see it moves around a bit and i'm pressuming its to stabiblize the image?
Some of this doesn't even seem possible on foot! Amazing!!!
Graham "Fock Eet" Jarvis
well done m8! hope to see you again next year.. all the best from the SanHist Crew!
Yeash, this is true and deep hell with all these mountains and "circumstances" 👍👌😃 BUT Sun is still so stunningly shining in the sky 🌞
Why don't they use transponders like they do here in the states? You just ride right thru and it beeps. Those at Erzberg seem to waste a lot of time before they record the rider. I've noticed the same kind used at other hard enduros.
so smooth. I wish I had throttle and clutch control like this.
You are a top driver !!! What I did not like was the crowd in the race
Did the GoPro run out of juice?
Some areas of that track were so absolutely jacked up, i'd be pissed. Great riding man :)
на 5 той минуте через очки такой же вид как через камеру был?
Thank you for uploading this man idk why they don't have a red bull series out for 2017? They delete it or somthing lol but love watching you every single year man what's been with these dust days never b4 seen than happens like 4 years ina row haha
24:02 sorry if it is a stupit question... why do they turn off the engine when they are going down the hill?
Engine cooling
I been watching a lot of dirtbike videos lately, crusty demons, and this Graham Jarvis dude always seems to get a lot of views. he seems good in the slow parts and OK at fast riding. If he worked on his speed he could be a real good rider and superstar
Oh great. The Johnny Walker fan club president ^ ^
Is that quick shifter or just clutchless??
Graham what place did u finish??
What camera an mount are you using that it's right under your visor!? I like that an havent bought anything because that's where I'd like it an want to record some of my rides!? Thanx in advance
And nice race looks tough as hell
thank you so much to the guy that wiped your camera off!!!
Why does he turn off the engine when going down a steep hill?
I watched this on tv idk how you didn't win you made it look so easy
What kind of camera is that under visor?
