this stuff is a lot more interesting if it's somewhat doable. watching person after person fail gets boring quickly. especially when it becomes a "who can toss their bike up the hill the furthest" contest

People make it up there all the time just not in this video. Not to mention these people are not on bike designed for for hill climbing and not of these people have no business on this hill cuz the have no hill climb experience

It’s like some of the bikes are pissed they had to do this and then go after the riders on the way down…

How do they get the bikes off the run when one of them doesn't make it? Or the riders when they're injured, or even when they aren't? Two guys swing in on ropes occasionally, do they hoist or lower the riders or bikes?

That being said......it IS a super steep incline!!!...and nice to not have to wait to see the runs!!!
it is very very steep! To this day no one has made it to the top. One guy has crossed the finished line with his front tire before falling and that is the closest anyone has come.
So are there two races here? One to get to the top of the climb, and the other to beat your bike back to the starting line?
They need a longer entrance to build up some speed.
I think these bikes want revenge for making them go up that slope. They find their owners quickly right after they crash.

Practically impossible because of the rocks that inevitably destabilize the bike, the suspensions cannot go beyond their limits, succeeding in that undertaking means setting a unique trajectory if it exists to take as few rocks as possible .... So difficult that it seems not nobody can do it. However, it is spectacular, almost guaranteed motorcycle destruction.
it always seems like that... but thats why it's a challenge. its definitely hard, but if youve honed your skills enough its definitely possible

If your going to start off In high gear just ask if you can ghost ride your bike off the top. This would be much more fun to watch if they had a rule you must be attached to the bike with a leash.

Why don’t they give them a longer take off start. They can’t even get the RPM’s up to climb anywhere near the top. I like hill climbs but this just sucked.
these guys are hopeless except 2 guys giving a Good crack, they need more speed and approach the rocks as a jump by preloading the shocks with their weight at the base of the rock, same as you do in motocross at the base of a jump to keep the bike closer to the ground, I guess these guy have never raced MX maybe they should study bubba Stewart he is a master at it

I've never seen so many bikes get wadded up while so many catchers are present on the hill. Must just be there as spectators. And as far as the difficulty of this hill??? Somebody at Red Bull said,....."were not holding this event for people to conquer the hill this year. Booooooring. Were holding it to see how many people we can cripple and bikes we can destroy. So let's find a hill where the bottom half is dirt and only slightly vertical for false hope and the top half ALL STONE FACED and completely vertical for assured pain and destruction. Sound good?? Good."

Or maybe the children of riders accidentally crushed whilst running towards their father screaming, "daddy don't do it!!!"
