I just had an argument with my uncle recently over the clarification that Dawud Adid has been giving the past few weeks. I believe what he says is the true and real sentiment of the scholars and I appreciate the rectification of errors made in the past. However, some brothers are hard hearted and refuse to understand. It's like the point goes completely over their heads because they hear a brother speaking in a way they're not used to. I wish more of the brothers had this understanding that Dawud Adib is conveying to the people as of late.
Interesting take...but the examples our brother Dawud is using is self-aggrandizing. He's always done it (I've been around for 30 years long enough to see/hear/know what damage was done by our beloved brother). And he's s till self-aggrandizing. I don't know how much or how often, what's the limit or what he should be saying, but he caused a lot of damage within the community. But, in my opinion, he should only be explicitly working to undue that damage he did because it was treacherous (and I love the brother). If you were not impacted by it, then its hard to speak on it. I have seen a few of his apology tours recently and I don't hear anything that sounds contrite. He's just talking around, saying alot of nothing. Man, saying it plainly for the people is what is needed. He's unwilling to put his own head on the chopping block (the same one that he used to use for others). He helped to destroy friends, divided families, communities and the like, and I don't see him stating the obvious. May Allaah help the brother to rectify that because I wouldn't want to be in his position having lead that mantra of destruction on the guise of Islam
@@MrThinktank01 if what u day is true then u should reach out to him directly in order to rectify your situation or at the least ask how u can reach him from here but for you to say things like this on a public forum then u must bring evidence other wise ur jus making claims and Islam is based on proof and evidence. If rectification is what u want them take the means but if ur goal is jus to try to humiliate ur brother then know that every deed is based on its intention.

I have nothing personal against our brother. 2 things you should know. 1 - He himself is on a so-called apology tour (however he's missing contriteness). Just go listen to his recent interview with that Caucasian brother (I can't thing of his name so...). 2) his plethora of audios from that time should still be available. If you need proof, I don't have to supply that foe you with the info is readily available.

As Salaamu Alaykum Shaykh I clearly remember your voice by listening to your lectures in when I became Muslim in 2008! Alhamdulillaah I have always been blessed to hear your lectures and benefit from them!! InshaaAllaah do you happen to have in-person or online classes teaching the Creed, Methodology and Worship of the Salaf? I just began to think about the first time I had a chance to attend one of your lectures, it was sometime between 2012/2013 when Abu Nuh/Madyun brought you into West Chester, PA!
We ask Allah to rectify our situation. Amin. Reflection on a patients with the harms of the people. This clearly doesn’t apply to salafy brothers is the USA. From what we are witnessing! It appears that if , one makes a mistake or perceived to have made an error. The error is not corrected and the brother no longer a good fit for dawah. Is what is apparent. Perhaps we need a refresher class in how to deal with the harms of salafy and non salafy unpack the harm with knowledge seeking closeness to Allah and pardoning . Perhaps Allah pardons in return. And maybe Allah with his mercy establish a salafy school or a community . Summer programs for the kids and so forth and so. I remember hearing our shayk say may Allah preserve him. You brothers have let the shayton come between you all. And the advice was to work together. Unity is a mercy !!! Allahu mustaan
I don't know if your familiar with masjidu ahlus sunnah because we established a salafy school in East Orange nj.. from pre-k thru 12th grade & have summer program for kids & so forth..what your saying has been done & continuing to progress...may Allah make all the Muslim successful in this world & the here after..ameen
