MHMD [18] Here's all you need to know about Islam's "MHMD" in ONE VIDEO!

  • We have been told that this series on 'Muhammad' (or rather MHMD) is not only too long, but is too complicated for anyone to follow. So, Mel and I decided to record a summary of all of the material on the Muhammad of the 7th century in one video. And here it is, all in a little under an hour.
So, put you pens down and just watch.
To begin with, it seems that we've been looking for the wrong man, because the Muslim's prophet, referred to as "Muhammad", could have never existed in written form like that. The reason, that Muhammad requires 3 vowels in order to read it, a dhamma (or 'u' sound) above the first mim, a fatah (or 'a' sound) above the following ha, and another fatah (or 'a' sound) above the second mim.
Yet, there weren't any vowels in Arabic in the 7th century.
Take a look at any of the 6 earliest Qur'anic manuscripts and you will see that they don't have any vowels, and hardly any dots as well.
So, how could there have been anyone named "Muhammad" that early? They were all created much later, in the 8th - 9th centuries.
All they had in Arabic in the 7th century were 16 consonants, with no vowels.
So, when you remove the 3 vowels, you are left with 4 consonants...MHMD, which when pronounced out loud was simply MAHMAD.
Now, suddenly the word makes sense, because there were many MHMDs all over that area and in that time! In fact that word has a long history, beginning way back in 1400 BC.
-1400 BC: This word was first introduced at this time in Ugaritic, and meant "The Desired One", or "The Precious One". So, from the very beginning it was a title, not a name.
-1000 BC: The Hebrews borrowed this word and introduced it into the Old Testament 11 times. For instance in Song of Solomon 5:16 the word MHMD is "The altogether Lovely One", referring to Solomon, but also referring to the future Messiah. So, it was a Messianic term for the Jews.
In Psalms 68:16 and Proverbs 12:12 we find this MHMD is "Desired", or "Desires", or "Desirable", all referring to the coming Messiah.
-300 AD: The Christian father St. Ambrose, referring to Song of Solomon 5:16 stated that this 'Altogether lovely' one was indeed the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who would return a 2nd time. So, from then on all the Christians speaking Aramaic and Syriac considered the MHMD was Jesus Christ.
-523 AD: A Jewish inscription referring to the Jewish Exilarch Mar Zutra's death in 520 AD calls him the MHMD, or the Messiah.
-617 AD: The Exilarch Nehemiah ben Husiel, who conquered Jerusalem in 614 AD, but then was killed in 617 AD is renamed as the MHMD ben Joseph (the suffering one of Israel). The next Exilarch, his brother Salman al-Farsi, is given the title MHMD ben David (the conquering King of Israel), and considered the Messiah.
According to Chinese sources from that time, there were between 5 - 12 different Jewish exilarchs in Iraq who took on the title MHMD. Notice, none of these Jewish MHMDs are in the central part of Arabia called the Hijaz, where Mecca and Medina are located, because there is no WATER there to give them life. They are all 1000 miles further north, where there's plenty of water.
-660 AD: The Caliph Muawiya (whom Muslims believe was a good Muslim) mints coins in 660s AD with his image on it, holding a cross in both hands, with a cross above his head, and another cross on the reverse side. Below it on the reverse side is the word MHMD in Arabic, clearly stating that this was the Messiah Jesus Christ.
-663 AD: We know he was a Christian because of an inscription with his name, and refers to himself as the "Abdallah", which means "The servant of God", who is the "Commander of the believers". But which believers? At the upper left side of the inscription is a cross; thus, he is the commander of the Christians. So, both the coins and the inscriptions clearly state that this MHMD is Jesus Himself, the anointed one, the Messiah.
-7th century: Meanwhile the Jews claimed that their exilarchs (the Jewish Arab authorities in what is today Iraq) were the Messiahs whom they were waiting for.
-8th Century: The Abbasids come to power, but they don't have their own prophet, nor their own revelation. So, they then introduce a 3rd MHMD, who is their prophet, their Messiah, as a fulfillment of the Jewish and Christian MHMDs; and thus he becomes "The Seal of the Prophets". The Chinese claim this happens in 756 AD.
Once they have their own MHMD, who they call 'Muhammad'; he then needs a revelation. That is why all of the Qur'ans begin to appear at this time, and his "Back-story" (the Sira, Hadith, Tafsir & Takhrigh) are written and codified a century later, in the 9th - 10th centuries.
CONCLUSION: The Muhammad of Islam is a complete phantom, created in the Abbasid period to fulfill the earlier Jewish and Christian MHMDs (Messiahs), who is yet to appear.

Every mention of "muhammad" in the Quran and that of "ahmad" are interpolations. This has been proven by Edouard M. Gallez in his article “References to Muhammad in the Quran: Lost Years since 1949? History of a Research”, published by Inârah (in Robert M. KERR, Markus GROSS & Karl-Heinz OHLIG (Ed.), Die Entstehung einer Weltreligion VI, Inârah volume 10, Schiler & Mücke, Berlin, 2020) and also available on his Academia page.
Let that sink in: there was no mention of Muhammad in the earliest Quranic material. It means there never was any Islamic Muhammad. His figure is a litterary creation.

For those asking for the original Gospel read this entire post as the Gospel hasn't changed for over 2000 years.
Below are Scriptural proofs that I've collected over the years.
The NT Gospels - Evidence of Author's & Dates Written:
Matthew - A tax collector who became Jesus' apostle and wrote about the life of Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish community c. 54 to 60 AD.
Mark - A Jew, and a companion of Peter and Paul, who wrote for both Jews and Gentiles about Christ's death and resurrection c. 46 to 54 AD.
Luke - A Gentile doctor, a companion of Peter and Paul who wrote for the Gentiles about Christ the Savior of humankind. c. 54 to 60 AD.
Luke - also wrote the Acts of the Apostles c. 60 AD.
John - The 'beloved' apostle of Jesus, wrote in his later years about the Word who took on Flesh (John 1:1,14) c. 80-90 AD.
John - also wrote 3 Letters and The Book of Revelations c. 80-95 AD.
    James - Jesus' half-brother, wrote 1 letter c. 35 AD.
    Paul - wrote 13 letters c.49 - 65 AD.
    Jude - wrote 1 letter c. 65 AD.
    Peter - wrote 2 letters c. 67 AD.
The author of Hebrews is unknown c. 65 AD.
Jesus Christ's' ministry began between the dates of 27-30AD and with 30-33AD for His Crucifixion, well attested facts.
Christianity began after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ when thousands of Jews became followers of the 'Way', (Jesus).
The New Testament scholar, F.F. Bruce, gives strong historical evidence that the New Testament was completed by A.D. 100.

The apostles and their companions wrote the New Testament from their first-hand experiences with Jesus the Christ, (Messiah).
New Testament integrity is supported by historians, biblical and textual scholars, along with thousands of early codices, manuscripts and the Dead Sea Scrolls, proving the validity and preservation of the Gospels written between c. 35-90 A.D
(Eusebius, Church History 111. 39 .15; Irenaeus Against Heresies, 111.1)
    Internal Evidence:
The internal evidence supports these early dates for several reasons. The first three Gospels prophesied the fall of the Jerusalem Temple which occurred in A.D. 70. However, the fulfillment is not mentioned in them. It is strange that these three Gospels predict this major event but don't record it happening. Why didn't they mention such an important prophetic milestone? The most plausible explanation is that it hadn't yet occurred at the time Matthew, Mark, Luke, Acts and the majority of the New Testament was written.
In the book of Acts, the Temple plays a central role in the nation of Israel. Luke writes as if the Temple is an important part of Jewish life. He also ends Acts on a strange note: Paul living under house arrest. It is strange that Luke does not record the death of his two chief characters, Peter and Paul. The most plausible reason for this is that Luke finished writing Acts before Peter and Paul's martyrdom in A.D. 64. A significant point to highlight is that the Gospel of Luke precedes Acts, further supporting the traditional dating of c. A.D. 54 to 60.
Most scholars agree Mark precedes Luke, making Mark's Gospel even earlier.
Finally, the majority of New Testament scholars believe that Paul's epistles were written from A.D. 48-60. Paul's outline of the life of Jesus matches that of the Gospels.
1st Corinthians is one of the least disputed books regarding its dating and Pauline authorship.
In 1st Corinthians chapter 15, Paul summarizes the gospel and reinforces the premise that this is the same gospel preached by the apostles.
Paul quotes from Luke's Gospel in 1 Timothy 5:18, showing us that Luke's Gospel was indeed completed in Paul's lifetime. This would move the time of the completion of Luke's Gospel along with Mark and Matthew.
This Internal Evidence presents a strong case for the early dating of the Gospels.
    External Evidence - Gospel Dates:
Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses of the events, or were they not recorded until centuries later?
As with the internal evidence, the external evidence also supports a first century date.
Fortunately, New Testament scholars have an enormous amount of ancient manuscript evidence, 24,300+. The documentary evidence for the New Testament far surpasses any other work of its time, with over 5,860 Koine Greek manuscripts, many are dated within a few years of their authors' lives.
    Key documents:
Chester Beatty Papyri contains most of the N.T. writings, and is dated around A.D. 250.
The Bodmer Papyri contains most of John, and dates to A.D. 200.
Rylands Papyri that was found in Egypt and contains large fragments of John, and dates to A.D. 130.
From this fragment we can conclude that John was completed well before A.D. 130 because, not only did the gospel have to be written, it had to be hand copied and make its way down from Greece to Egypt. The majority of scholars agree that John is the last gospel written, so we can affirm its first century date along with the other three with greater assurance.
    Early New Testament Papyrus Manuscripts:
Dead Sea Scrolls, the Full Text of Isaiah, especially Isa:53, and a portion of every OT book except Ester, c. 250 BC.
Old Testament Greek Septuagint c. 200 BC.

    P52 (John Rylands Fragment) - John 18:31-33; 37-38 c. 96 AD
    P90 (Oxyrhynchus) - John 18:36; 19:7 c. 96 AD
    P104 (Oxyrhynchus) - Matthew 21:34-37, 43, 45 c. 60-65 AD
    P46 (Chester Beatty Papyrus) - Romans 5:17-6; 5-14; 8:15-25; 27-35; 10:1-11, 22, 24-33, 35; 16:1-23; 25-27, and Hebrews; 1 & 2; Corinthians; Ephesians; Galatians; Philippians; Colossians; 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 9-10; 2:1-3; 5:5-9, 23-28 c. 50’s-70’s AD
    P98 (IFAO) - Revelation 1:13; 2:1 c. 90 AD
    P66 (Bodmer Papyrus) - John 1:1-6,11; 6:35; 14:26; fragment of 14:29; 21:9 c. 100 - 150 AD
    P67 Matthew 3:9, 15; 5:20-22; 25-28 c. 60-65 AD
Evidence also comes from the Dead Sea Scrolls Cave 7.
Jose Callahan discovered a large fragment of the Gospel of Mark and dated it to have been written in A.D. 50. Also large fragments of Acts and other epistles and dated them to have been written slightly after A.D. 54
Another line of evidence is the writings of the church fathers:
CLEMENT of Rome sent a letter to the Corinthian church in A.D. 95. in which he quoted from the Gospels and other portions of the N.T.
IGNATIUS, Bishop of Antioch, wrote a letter before his martyrdom in Rome in A.D. 115, quoting all the Gospels and other N.T. letters.
POLYCARP wrote to the Philippians in A.D. 120 and quoted from the Gospels and N.T. letters.
    JUSTIN MARTYR, A.D. 150 quotes John 3.
Church fathers of the early second century were familiar with the apostle's writings and quoted them as inspired Scripture.
Early dating is important for two reasons. The closer a historical record is to the date of the event, the more likely the record is accurate. Early dating allows for eyewitnesses to still be alive when the Gospels were circulating to attest to their accuracy.
The apostles often appeal to the witness of the hostile crowd, pointing to their knowledge of the facts as well (Acts 2:22, 26:26).
Also, the time is too short for legends to develop.
Historians agree it takes at least two generations, or eighty+ years, for legendary accounts to establish themselves.
From the evidence, we can conclude the Gospels were indeed written by the authors they are attributed to.
The First Fully Bound Bible Books/Codices:
    Codex Vaticanus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 280 - 330 AD
    Codex Siniaticus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 300 - 350 AD
    Codex Alexandrius: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 350 - 400 AD
    Codex Vulgate: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 380 - 400 AD
Jesus and the Jews were multilingual:
"Pilate had a placard prepared in 3 languages and fastened to the cross.
It read: 'JESUS Of NAZARETH, THE KING Of THE JEWS'.
Many of the Jews read this sign, the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin/Greek, (John 19:19-20).
The Gospels were written in Koine Greek being the World's language in the 1st century.
The Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek (Septuagint) c.200 BC for the many Greek speaking Jews.
It is well known that first-century Jerusalem was inhabited by Greek speaking Jews who were at least bilingual.
Jesus Himself was at least trilingual apart from the ability to read minds.
The original Gospels, autographs, were written in Koine Greek and sent throughout the then known world..
Jewish culture was heavily influenced by Hellenistic culture, and Koine Greek was used not only for international communication but also as the first language of many Jews. This development was furthered by the fact that the largest Jewish community in the world at that time lived in Ptolemaic Alexandria.
    GOD Protects His Sacred Words:
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed".
"As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed". (Galatians 1:8-9).
Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matt 24:35).
God protects His Word & Gospels and warns of antichrists. (1John2:22).
Christ's Good News of Salvation, His Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection hasn't changed for over 2000 years.
The Gospels are evidenced by internal and external historical, archeological & literary facts.
The Gospels are reliable and transparent with any variations in translations transparently referenced in the footnotes.
The Gospels have 1000 times more manuscripts than the most documented ancient literature, (Greco-Roman historian Suetonius).
The Bible is the most comprehensive and reliable source of 1st century Jerusalem history and being used by archaeologists to support research today.

Excellent summary, just what the laity needs. When you examine all the 7th century data, it is obvious that the Muhammad of Islam is a myth, concocted in the 8th-11th centuries. Yes, that myth was predicated upon one or more real people who did live in the 7th century, but they did not reside in Mecca or promote a new religion called Islam.

Mecca could not have existed as a large commercial caravan city in the years 600 AD
Main reasons for this fact are:
    1) Mecca is not an oasis, so there is no surface water (only a well, known as zamzam which is clearly unsufficient and inappropriate for watering many caravan camels)
    2) Mecca is not shown on any map at that time or even previously
    3) Mecca is located down of Hidjaz plateau and could therefore not be located on the caravan route which is located more than 1000 m above on the plateau (eg the city of Taeef is located at an altitude of ca 2000 m while Mecca is at 300 m)
    4) there were no archeological remains or artefacts (coins, potteries, ruins, bones etc) discovered in Mecca dating from before circa year 700
    5) no agriculture whatsoever is possible in this wild rocky desert location, how could a large city survive in such hostile environment ?

I accept that the writings came much later, but find it hard to believe it was made up entirely. Surely there was a man who's child bride picked the dried semen off his clothes. Maybe this man was not called Mohamed though. Could the stories be an accumulation of many people?

The primary communications was from the Angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which was verbally or orally transmitted.
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over 23 years. Given the low literacy rates of the time, it was initially memorized and transmitted orally by the Prophet's companions. Surah Al-Qiyamah (75:17-18) states: "Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation."
Oral transmission is still conducted until present day, teacher to students and students back to the teachers in many Islamic Quranic classes. We call this recitations.
Recitations without referring to any written books were conducted in mass prayers. The entire Quran is recited in the month of Ramadan around the world.

Because at the time that Quran was written, Persians were defeated by Eastern Romans but were still in power. Ironically Muhammad is the elephant in the room today.
I would have thought that linguistically the pronunciation can be figured out from references during the relevant time period from foreign sources. They would be eyewitnesses or more precisely earwitnesses to the pronunciation or possible pronunciationS of those four letters.
There are two ways to use the word "ass" and I suspect numerous Muslims won't be thinking of the nice one when they *associate* it with Mel and Jay.

without vowels the text is only recitable if you know it by heart (as guide for recitation). thats why reading was called reciting.
ie if you came across the word ٯىل you wouldnt know if it were qutila or qatala, except you had learned it by heart beforehand and just sing long the rasm.

@@amjidhuss1092 Below Jesus the Christ is flatly stating He is the same LORD God of all creation, of the Old Testament found in the New Testament in His own Words, describing Himself.
Rev 1:8, Rev 1:17b, Rev 2:8, Rev 21:6, Rev 22:13 are all direct quotes from Jesus describing exactly Who and What He is. He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last which are titles the LORD God of all creation uses many times in the Old Testament to describe Himself. We have Isa 41:6 which is just one example and there are many more. All of those titles or names only refer to the LORD and yet Jesus claims them for Himself, what should that tell you?
The lies that Jesus the Christ never described or claimed to be God are ridiculous and unfounded as I've proven above in His own Words. These references are just from the Book of the Revelation of Jesus the Christ and there are many, many more than this recorded all throughout the New Testament, Jhn 3:16-17. His question to Philip, Jhn 14:9-11, in which He tells us anyone who's seen Him has seen the Father. His testimony of Himself before the Sanhedrin and Pilot, Mar 14:62 Luk 22:61:70, Luk 23:3 and many more. The truth that He states in Jhn 6:44-51, Jhn 14:6 are all absolute truth and found only in Scripture.
Jesus absolutely described Himself and claimed He was the LORD. There are many warnings in Scripture that tell us not to deny Him, 2 Tim 2:12, Tit 1:16, Hebrews 10:29-31 and many, many more.

Yes, Jay and the rest should revisit who is following the Abrahamic Religions.
Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter 112) rhymes with the first two of the ten commandments.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
      1. Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,
      2. Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
      3. He neither begets nor is born,
      4. Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
      *The Ten Commandments.*
      1. **You shall have no other gods before Me.**
      2. **You shall not make for yourself a carved image**-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
      3. **You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.**
      4. **Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.**
      5. **Honor your father and your mother.**
      6. **You shall not murder.**
      7. **You shall not commit adultery.**
      8. **You shall not steal.**
      9. **You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.**
      10. **You shall not covet** your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

My take is Mohammed refers to the learned and great men of the past including kings one of them can be the Mohammed Hashim, and some 7th century rulers compiled a new Quran from the old kitabs(books) of the past, adding verses to unite their people into one single religion and god and taking this as base for their shariah(laws). Finally a history for Mohammed as a single person is created by the seekers of the Hadiths long after the spread of Islam as religion.

is this not proof that this first name was “invented” especially for the advent of Muhammad?
Thanks again for everything you do.

My favorite example of word 'morphing' is the word, Nice. Nice originally meant 'Ignorant'' and was then used as a descriptive word for child prostitutes, as in 'She's Nice.' from there it moved to its present meaning i.e. Something pleasant. This change has happened in around 200 years, what can happen to words over 14000-2000 years?

But I do not see a correction by you…unless it comes later in this video (because I simply stopped it to write this). Thanks, so much. AL H
