- this was 100% my fault. I should have replaced the radiator the oil pump and the lifter the first time I had this engine out. don't just assume these engines are junk. I'm admitting my fault and now I'm gonna correct it. stay tuned cause I'll definitely have more videos to come thanks.
Vehicles without issues are no fun to watch on TH-cam. Nobody wants to watch you wash, wax, drive and just enjoy your Blazer 😅. What fun is that?

Yeah it sucks unfortunately. But ya live and learn. I miss driving it already 😩 I can't wait to get it back on the road again and hopefully for good. She's gonna be like a brand new engine when I'm done only thing not being changed is piston rings. Cause 78k they are fine and the cylinders look new still
Always wanted to build an early 90’s S-10 with a period Camaro L36 3800. Put together like GM put it there. Your rig is too nice to swap and has the cool 4.3 anyway.
@ryanfoster9863 yeah a first gen with the vortec 4.3 is pretty sweet. Plenty of power in a lighter classic over a round body it moves pretty good for what it is. I know im pretty happy with it
Metal shavings can be lurking in the most remote corners of the oil ducts, so if you make sure to go trough it all, it should be fine. Good luck!

Mistakes happen man, it sucks but it's a good time to add some performance parts? Maybe sell the other blazer to make it real fancy!

Really isn't anything performance you can do to these old 4.3's unfortunately. Hah yeah a plasma cutter would of definitely preventing all this 🤣🤣

@mtranchmike8154 I would but that's a whole lot more money that I don't have at the moment. I just bought a clean v8 trailblazer my brothers putting cam in it at the moment. Then this happened and it's really putting a hurt on the wallet Idk. I kinda just like the green blazer like it is.
