I really like some of these slender folding knives. They take up minimal pocket space, yet, are still a decent cutting tool, for the most part. This one looks pretty classy. 'Tis well named. 👍
I wish CRKT would tone down the branding on their more stylish designs. I think they would do well to reduce the font size by about 50%.
Good review. Quick Question: Do you have any insight on this 7096 version also being sold as a 7096K? Trying to assess what the "K" is all about and IF it is a legit "CRKT" production or a "K"nockoff. Thanks for the video and your time. Stay safe!
I have one, pocket clip is on the wrong end. It messes with your grip when using the thumb stud.
Really awesome crkt knife!!! :D
so you can feel like a boss opening letters at the office. i'm cool with that.
Chris Reeve Knife and Tool is really stepping up their game.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just bought one tonight its a slick little blade and worth the 30 bucks i like it .
LTK, you are the CMFWBIC (Chief Mo Fo What Be in Charge). You always show the best variety.
The CRKT Ceo can be used as a “kubaton”, or in other words a force multiplier when used for hammer strikes. I like the design for that reason alone.
Only if Dim Mak is utilized
Just received mine today, love the design very slender, good locks enjoyed the video very agreeable opinions!
Also only paid 55$ for knife with lifetime replacement if it breaks, I see it a good buy
Fantastic review! Thanks for posting.
Спасибо! Хороший обзор! Интересный нож!
Dude the deep pocket carry!
Clever intro.
I have 2 CRKT knives. The Navajo and Ruger lck. Nice designs, but the out of the box action on both leave much to be desired.
Would make for a great steak knife and letter opener.
No left handed anything option. Thanks, I hate it.
edit: couldn't just leave a hate-only comment. Here's a recommendation for a knife that is infinitely better, looks cooler, has the same aesthetic, has a flipper tab and it's titanium w/ D2 steel blade. TwoSun TS67.
Love it
They're marketing to people who love to sharpen knives.
Indeed. My exact sentiments. Good budget knife.
@@flhandster4395 If by "budget" you mean "won't miss it if it gets lost or stolen", I agree.
But it seems to me that if you actually use a knife for - I don't know - an hour or more a day (I don't know if that's a good figure or not, because it seems to me people use knives situationally more than regularly) you want a knife with a blade steel you don't have to sharpen after you're home from work every day. In which case 8Cr and the like is for people who like the IDEA of having a knife, but don't rely on one much. And if they lose it, they can just chuck out a few bucks for another one.
But if you really appreciate knives and premium workmanship and materials it doesn't matter that much if you never use it. It's a work of superior artistry and workmanship.
Two different worlds; pick the one that fits you!
@@Tenskwatawa4U I just don’t want a knife in my pocket just to have a knife in my pocket. I certainly want it for useful purposes but don’t want to spend a great deal of time maintenancing it. That’s just my posture for looking to add a blade to my lineup. Thanks!
@@flhandster4395 Precisely my point! With 8Cr you will find yourself having to sharpen it a lot more than you would D2 (which is not totally stainless, so you do have to keep the steel with a light oil coat) or a steel like 14C28N, which costs a wee bit more, but it a true stainless. 8Cr is pretty damn soft, and you might get tired of sharpening it after nearly every use. If you're only using it to open envelopes, disregard. I usually open those with my fingers.
They could have at least used 14c28n.. it wouldn't raise the price more than $5.00 and it's a decent user steel. Love the design though .
A sophisticated design. But they should have not put the brand on the clip, to make it a real CEO's knife.
I like it but, that clip... Tip up! They should know by now. Thanks for the video
it is a knife for shirt pocket. tip up u would have to turn it 180 before u can open 😄
@@Nightwolf866 no you don't. I have a Boker urban survival L.E. its basically the same concept, its tip up and you don't have to turn it 180.
It would be soo much cooler if it were tip up carry
A metamorph without the stupid front flipper 🤔
DOA
CRKT...awesome innovation, poor execution. In my experience anyway.
the clip kinda ruins the design
Shity Steel but good office knife
So basically CRKT made a $40 reusable toothpick with a pocket clip, PASS!
