Thank you, my dad had 4 colts season tickets from 1964 until they left he and took went to every Colts home game from the 77 Ghost to Post Game until they left for Indy…. I remember this game, I was 13 years old but what I remember more is talking to my dad three years later watching the Super Bowl and we were reminiscing about when we saw the Bears play when most the greats were rookies or second year players in this game….
And Indianapolis should call their team the Yankees, because why not? The Colts were at one point the Boston Yanks, then the New York Bulldogs, then the Yankees again, then the original Dallas Texans before becoming the Baltimore Colts 2.0! Of course, Jim Irsay is an asshole, so you know...
@@SuperUkcats Jim Irsay is a great guy and a great owner. He's extremely generous. Sure, he has had some demons with substance abuse, but we love him here in Indy. His father Robert was a huge asshole though.
2019 was the final time you'll ever see a baseball diamond on a football field. I expect Goodell to ban it, since it's a completely extinct concept anyway.
I am a Bears fan and Baltimore Colts fan . Sad thing this was the last time the Bears played the Colts in Baltimore. The Bears were 8 and 8 that year and went 10 and 6 in 1984 and 15 and 1 in 1985 .
I was a Baltimore Colts fan until Bob Irsay moved the franchise to India-no-place. Tried to be a Bears fan for the next two seasons, but jumped off bandwagon just before Super Bowl XX because I couldn't root for a team opposing one coached by Raymond Berry. Have embraced the Ravens since Day 1 in 1996.

The Colts and the Ravens should switch cities as far as I'm concerned!!!!

Arcaic and Prehistoric Football.
Shared that field with the 83 Os.
That field at Memorial Stadium you don't see anything like that now

That was a fumble on the Richard Dent special teams hit. Bad Call
Nobody knew it at the time this would be the last season of the Baltimore Colts

Vince Evans a Chiago bear on the soon to be 1985 Super Bowl champions became a Raider later on backing up Jeff Hostetler.
Evans wasn't on the 85 Bears, left after 84.
@@rustykuntz94 Evans left after 83, that's why the Bears had to sign both Steve Fuller and Greg Landry as backups in 1984.
10 ex Arizona State Sun Devils in this game - 8 for the Colts and 2 for the Bears. Go Devils !
Moreheads son played played for the Colts against the Bears in the Superbowl
His son was Craven?
I'll never understand what Jim Finks saw in Bob Thomas,...they should have cut him back in '76
olofpalme63 He did did one thing right at the end of the 1983 season.
Beau Bear ...this game proved that; not only can he NOT kick on astro-turf or natural grass...he can't kick on dirt either
olofpalme63 I agree. I was referring to the ‘83 season finale game that got uploaded an hour ago but is “blocked”.
Beau Bear ...I wonder why?
olofpalme63 I can’t figure out why. Especially since most never try to monetize videos.
Wonderful post, sir. Why do you think they blocked the Packers @ Bears 1983 season finale?
SECRETARIAT Guy I don’t know. Many, many games are blocked and can’t seem to wonder why.
