To be fair part of why Bill ended here was Arthur. Arthur always made fun of Bill and belittled him, throwing the old "relax bro, it's just a prank". While Dutch was kind to Bill, ensuring Bill would follow Dutch no matter what. It's why Arthur is one of the best protagonists - weak at moments, strong at others, selfish sometimes, kind - human. Feels like a human character with all the faults and virtues a person can show.
U can also have Reyes kill bill by killing the guy on top of bill and waiting for bill to get up or u can kill both if quick enough but u have to shoot the guy on bill first
Playing RDR1 after finishing RDR2 felt like a proper sequel. I didn’t notice I was playing a game made 8 years ago because of how well the story tied into each other and how well the first game explains the past of RDR2, wish they’d mention Arthur or hint at him in the first one.
Yes, but he's now an integral and solidified part of the story. RDR2 doesn't exist in another universe, it's all one story. Whether he was conceptualized back then or not, now that RDR2 is out, Arthur did exist in John's past. He just isn't mentioned in RDR1 for obvious reasons.

When he said "Dutch wanted you dead" I can definatley see why he left him near the train tracks. Because of this I guess he left Arthur at Cornwall's oil place because part of him saw him as a sort of threat as well.
