I'll still always come here to see if anything got updated and on her main channel. This is why I really don't like this fandom...it's literally destroying itself at this point....I think that's really sad. I was exited to join Directionners because of how great the boys are, but I was really disapointed. I hope that in the future the fandom will be less toxic so I can join in piece and tell my opinions and be respected

As an older Stan as well, it saddens me how divided this fandom has gotten. When I was younger, 1D stans had the reputation of being so united and I completely understand your decision. It’s always better to put yourself first and you have a life outside of these boys, a lot of younger stans kinda forget that. I know some things that happens in life can be extremely toxic, doing something that you have to do but not enjoy it, it's very difficult because you just want to enjoy what you do and sometimes it's like chore you have to do. People really need to understand that we're all human beings, we've got help with our mental selves and be happy 😊. Don't listen to what everyone wants to say because some things people say can be very hurtful and they just like to make you look like a bad victim.

It’s a conversation for a few days. It’s been honestly years & years of dramas, unresolved issues & unfortunately lots of lies in this fandom and around one direction itself. As I love all of them and support either their solo or group careers - this band (as a company, not boys themselves) was extremely toxic environment. One issues caused another, and another, and another - like a snow ball effect. People divided to a point where you can’t turn back. You were getting hated on for literally everything - as J said, you said something that one corner doesn’t agree? Boom, hate. You did something that other corner didn’t like? Boom, hate. Fandom created inside small fandoms that were on a permanent war with each other and still are and the way they were/are fighting? I really wish no one would see this because it’s just disgusting. Since boys went solo, the level of fans increased like crazy & it didn’t help at all, only added more problems. As a person who is literally here since x-factor times, I agree with everything Jasmine said. It’s exhausting and frustrating. You need to be perfect,polite, care about everything, have this mother attitude, you can’t say anything if any of them is making a mistake and smile & it would be best if you have no opinion in general. Especially not a “controversial” ones. If you would look deep - problems started at the xfactor level and as it was small at the beginning and easy to control - now we end up here. It’s sad but that’s the reality we have & we as a fans are the one mostly to blame. Not fully but mostly.

wow i teared up a little. I remember in March of 2020 I really wanted to be a part of the 1d fandom. The boys had a way of making me so happy and I really needed it but I just always felt so left out of things that happened before I joined or inside jokes or whatever. I didn't know how to be able to juggle learning everything about a new fandom and it was all so overwhelming and frustrating. I felt like I would never really be apart of it all because so much has happened in the past 10 years but you made it so easy to feel like a part of this fandom and for that I will always be grateful. The boys have helped me so much but they wouldn't have without you. You gave me a place in this wonderful fandom and you have brought me closer to so many other people. My heart broke when jas said fandom is very toxic right now cos that's true. I've been in this fandom forever and it never felt this fvcked up before. Especially stan twitter is the worst place right now. There is "one particular" solo fandom who can never stay in their lane, make fun of other boys and literally body shame them. They (tw//death) literally tell some stranger online to k!ll themselves just cos we state the facts regarding other boys part in the band. You know who am I talking about if you are on Stan twt.
