Good review. Was going to buy S22 but expensive. Have bought 10T for €450. My main requirements are large Amoled screen, super charging and 360 antenna. Can live with slightly downgraded cameras. Excited to receive 10T.
If the phone can't get a cell signal it's just a tablet. Imo the most important feature in this phone is, 360° Antenna, Bluetooth, WiFi, battery life, SuperVooc Charging.

Across social media what I've heard is that the 7/8 series were the last good OnePlus devices, some even say 6.

Second, and this is a big one, I didn't like the direction OnePlus is going with their software. Their software no longer had that stock Android feeling. I got rid of the 8 Pro, and picked up a less powerful Pixel 4a 5g. I absolutely love the software and all the creature comforts that come with it.
August 2024 - Bought OnePlus 10T for $190 shipped in Mint condition! Woohoo! :) Who really cares about that alert switch? I rarely use it. Wireless charging - Damn you have got to be soooo lazy to not want to plug in one cable to charge...and it's USB-C so no fumbling turning it this way and that. I don't care about the camera, and most shouldn't care about ANY cell phone camera because the sensor's are tiny! I hate to tell you guys, but it makes almost no difference about megapixels when the sensor is dinky. I'm into photography so I got me a Sony ZV1, and the sensor is probably 3 - 4 times the size of smartphone sensors. And sensor's on REAL CAMERAS start at the Sony's size. Most are way, Way larger yet! It's overall size is way smaller, but thicker than a smartphone, but takes incredibly superior photos and 4K video. Very pocket size! Plus the options are similar to $2500 Sony bodies! So many features for awesome performance. Really, when you get down to the facts, no smartphone's camera is worth a damn. If it is, just barely. A snapshot camera at best. The OnePlus 10T is like a track race car or a drag car. Plenty of performance in performance areas, without all the fancy do-dads no one really, truly needs! 😎🤘
The T-model should never be a upgrade from the Pro-models, it sounds like everyone forgets about this - this is a alternative to a pro model or other flagship, which does not cost 1000$+ like any other flagship nowadays. That the two OS versions are so similar has an understandable reason, apparently this is also not known and is simply interpreted negatively. Comparison with a Pixel 6 (and not a 6 Pro) is also not that good imo, the hardware from the normal P6 is a like a OP9.
