4:08 Yeah, I have the same issue on the protrusion there. I ordered an aftermarket grille but with a different design from Thailand. It seemed these aftermarket grilles don't fit well on the left side compared to the right side. I can't get the lower clip to snap on cuz the grille was rubbing against the left headlight, I had to really push it hard for it to go in.
If you do continue with the 3d printed route, might be easier to sand/finish with the letters separated and attached after finishing is completed. Can attach via epoxy or if you really want to get fancy, brass threaded inserts.
If I do produce these for sale they would definitely be made a different method, I would either cast it out of a 2 part urethane or have them sls/fjm printed.
Hey, I ended up just listing the digital files up and letting people do as they wish with them. I couldn't figure out a reasonable method to get them made for a fair price.
@@EndMotive I'm doing a safari car build (in aesthetic only) of a 2017 Kia Forte stock trim. I'm thinking it would be cool to see either the new Kia logo or FORTE across the grille in big letters like your Nissan or the Toyota, Ford, and Ram truck grilles
I think this guy lives in either the US or Canada. They only have the Frontier for the North American market. The Navara is sold in Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Strange how well they make the rest and just get a small area wrong or off in the manufacturing process, who knows what the cause is...
Your videos are underrated!
I've been wanting to do exactly what you've been doing with my vehicles, so I'll have to hang around 😂
Thanks, I appreciate that!
I need this immediately! I would even pay for the stl so I could print it myself.
Still a work in progress, need to make some adjustments!

That’s way better insert of the Nissan! Great job like always. What’s going with the lights on top of the roof rack?
Thanks, I am kinda burnt out looking at them so I had to work on something else for a little while lol
Did you ever end up producing some of these to sell?

Gotcha, thanks for the reply, I've been a fan of your stuff for both my Xterra and R51 Pathfinder.
Thank you! Hopefully I will get in gear and start making some more parts for them!
Are you branching out to other brands?
I am willing to, but I haven't yet. What do you have in mind?

Should've used Navara instead of nissan
