    Hope your week is off to a great start! I hope you dig what's in this video. Lots of deep questions that helped me, and I hope you're able to use them and shift! If you'd like me & my team's personal help creating and shifting into the 2.0 you, this is exactly what we do inside our 10-week program with you. You also work 1-on-1 with a shadow work coach to release any 1.0 blocks. Super powerful stuff. Anyway, if you're looking for extra support and are serious about using identity shifting, APPLY HERE: www.clarkkegley.com/free-case-study?sl=yt-IS1023

      Clark, something stood out to me today. You mentioned meditation and getting silent. Light bulb moment. I meditate almost daily and have for a while. I do guided, invocation, affirmations, and even talk to guides and angels. I get huge visceral energy shifts and love to. It never occurred to me to be still and mindless. Perhaps a video exploring that aspect of meditation would be helpful.

    In my 20’s & 30’s I wanted to be a pro bodybuilder but found I did well at the state level but wasn’t placing well at the national level. Competing & travel we’re getting expensive and straining my marriage. So I gave up the stage. I continued to train but didn’t compete for 7-8 years. Finally divorced, went through tough times but rebounded & rebuilt my life. Now I’m competing on the national stage, placing in the top 2 & 3. Setting my sights to get the pro win next year at 59 years old. It’s never too late if you want it. You just might have to wait for a better time in your life to shine.

    I figured this out on my own by myself at 19 and decided I wanted to become a guitar player and be the absolute best guitar player of my generation. I’m 24 now and I have practiced every single day, without fail, since then. I just recorded my own album. I’m getting ready to really put myself out there now, because I told myself by the time I was 26 I wanted to be in a musical act and touring , and I wanted to have a large social media following for my music. I’ve worked so hard to get here.

    when he said “who would you switch places with,” I couldn’t even answer that. My whole life I’ve let my ego drive my decisions. Choosing things that would make me look better to other people, what would make me look high status or manly, but now that I’m older I’m not sure what I want now. And i’m not sure if the things I want now are genuinely who I want to be or is it just my ego again. I’m so lost man

    • @KenaiPaani
      @KenaiPaani ปีที่แล้ว +7

      If I may, what you're talking about is vanity, less so ego. Similar vain but the difference is that you were doing things for external validation and that isn't necessarily bad. If you reframe why you do something or the end result, you can do the same things as always and still become a new person. Example: If you work out to look better, change the motivation to be someone who works out to push themselves. Looking good becomes a biproduct of becoming someone who pushes through adversity (by working out). If you eat healthy because its the new diet and you want people to say you're health conscious, change it to eating healthy because it helps you feel your best during training. Now you have people looking at your healthy, more attractive body and the whole time you didn't do anything but change your mindset. I see it like this, assume you are in a room with the you from 5 years ago and they ask you if you accomplished the goals you set back then; If yes, you can either set new goals, or become the kind of person who maintains their goals/achievements and/or works to improve them.If no, then you already know what you need to do. You are on the right path, I believe in you, and if the answer to his switch places question is simply "the me in 5 years" then that's a correct answer too.

    I think it’s fascinating bc I agree strongly with the change in the environment. I do think people are influenced by the people they are around, the communities they live in, the food and health access they have. People are told alot moving is just geography and won’t make you happy, but it simplifies the process and doesn’t look at all the things that may change if you pick the right environment

      I think both are important the internal and external environment. Being in a place where everything is difficult (transportation, access to good food, basic services like running water, electricity, internet, etc) can have a negative effect even if you have the best and optimistic attitude and mental stability. In the same sense, you can live in a utopic place where everything is amazing and works for you, but you have an internal dark environment or mental instability, it won't do anything for you.

    @clarkkegley when you shared change your environment and move from Seattle to Arizona made me think of the profound aspects of astrocartography and how we match up to different lines upon the earth, some places are effortlessly complimentary and create Love, Success, Community, Creativity flow when we are in those special to us locations. I have been in Seattle area over nine years, and feel allergic to the PNW. I’ve tried many places here. The places where I feel amazing visiting I learned yesterday are on my astrocartophy lines. AMAZING. We can choose where to live with intention & purpose too. And perhaps life gets easier when we do.

    Stoicism and buddhism usually point exactly opposite from success/self-help. This video beautifully illustrates how success can be achieved THROUGH stoic/buddhist ideas, the funny thing being that stoicism and buddhism try to teach that you shouldn't aim for success to begin with. Aim to discover who you are and be that, that's all the success you need (and more)

      start with small steps and small additions to your life: for example, set your alarm clock 5-10 minutes earlier so you can add morning exercise to your life. In evenings add a small habit of reading a book (any book) for 5 to 15 minutes. Start doing what you wanted to do long time ago in small time slots 5 to 15 minutes. You always can convince your brain that you have 5 or 10 minutes to do smth.

    The need behind any identity shifting/ crisis / alteration is (if you ask me ) a rejection that hurts : ( example : someone that was" important "didn't accept/love us as enough for what we are ) OR simply getting tired of ourselves.

    Great video Clark, I've been into these kind of manifestation, law of attraction, and law of assumption type of stuff. I want to share something will help everyone to manifest their desires, wants, and dreams. When manifesting there are various of techniques, methods and principles for manifesting before you do that the universe will be giving you tests. Now, don't run away because there's one reason the universe gives you tests because in life there will be roadblocks and blockages keeping you from manifesting what you want no matter the method or technique you use. How it works is when there's blockage approach it with a positive atittude than negative atittude. Because if you try to clear it with a negative atittude you will not pass and be able to clear the roadblock. With a positive atittude not only you'll clear the blockage, you'll be more mindful, and aware of how you manifest things. In life, there will be blockages and roadblocks to clear them is approach them with a positive atittude before you manifest something in your life that is how you effectively manifest your dreams, desires or wants.

    What if I have no idea what would make me proud? What actually do I want? I'm 28 yo and switched my path few times, but it feels like I struggle to see what is my identity...

    The talk out loud helps me. I process in words, and sometimes, if I don't say it out loud. It doesn't sink in. 😅😊😂

      I talk to myself 24/7 and the most embarrassing thing is when you think you're alone but it turns out someone heard you 😬

    Yeah, but most people are always moving the goalpost and therefore never feel satisfied when they actually accomplish the goal. It’s fleeting. Trick is to be satisfied with what you have and what you are, while also setting goals and accomplishing them.

    I don't look at other people like that. I like being me, so I would never trade myself for someone else. But I like being inspired by others. I enjoy seeing people growing and making something of themselves, each in their own unique way. I take from others examples what I can use for building my own character and skills. ❤
