I have trouble getting it to consistently cut all the way through most materials using the autoblade. Sometimes it works great, but often there's large sections where it cut 80% of the way and I couldn't tell until I lifted it off the sticky mat
Have you tried to increase the pressure on the cuts? It could be worth having a test with various cut settings/materials that you're selecting to see if that helps!
@@BalloonMarket I made a mistake and didn't realise that the Silhouette Portrait 3 cuts up to 8" but the vinyl made for it is cut in 9" due to the cutting area. Is Silhouette vinyl good enough for a vinyl sticker/transfer business or is it better to use third party vinyl if I'm making stickers/transfers for re-sale?
@@MrHowardMoon Hi there! You'd need to sticker vinyl to specifically make stickers although people have their preferences here. It might be worth trying some out if you are able to get samples or joining Facebook groups to see what other people in the trade enjoy using 😁!

No, you can put the roll n the holder and cut without a mat :)
I can't seem to find 8" Silhouette vinyl anywhere, I can only see 9" and 12". Am I missing something?
