I just tried putting a UV resin for the first time and just was winging it and then I found this channel and oh my goodness. So informative and lovely visuals.I can’t wait to try this technique!
Great tutorial! Looks so much more professional than just leaving the vinyl unsealed! Then it would not last long as a keychain or bag charm. The possibilities with resin are almost endless I feel! So cute to imcapsulate small sequins/bigger glitters around the picture too, I guess they would sink but it could look good still I think
look up videos that show resin peeling off, it won´t last either, a bit longer yes but after a while it will peel, I´d love to see these keychains after using them for a few weeks or months.
I'm new to the whole vinyl crafting and making keychains is my first project. This was a great tutorial of a "how to"! Not too long, encapsules all the important things a person needs and very informative! Thanks!

Thank you thank you thank you! I’m starting an Etsy shop, I’m trying multiple things to see what will work best for me! Key chains is one of the things I’m going to try. This video was so helpful! 💕💕💕💕💕
Hi you really seem to be most knowledgeable at anybody I've seen online and I have a weird question they need help with hopefully you see this and reply I went ahead and sticker bombed my car and I put a thick vinyl sheet down on top of it to protect it but with the way son works it's still faded out after a while and now instead of ruining my paint I was thinking of gluing a really thin polyester fabric down to it and then covering it with table top boxy for protection so I could still lift it all off if I wanted is that a possibility somehow??? Thank you if you take the time to reply I really need the help
Thanks a lot for the tutorial. My custom keychain came in with only one side protected by epoxy… the other side gets scratched so easily… first time ordering… just order the resin and I’m going coat it myself 3:
loved your tutorial on keychains!! You show a screenshot at the end of the video of "Keychain Bundle" and I was wondering where I can find it? Thank you so much and I look forward to more tutorials!!
You are so talented 💖. I'm new to all of this and appreciate you sharing your knowledge and all that goes into making these videos. Is the animal print design from vinyl or do you do that with the resin by hand? Thanks 😊
Love this tutorial but I did have a question so I made a few clocks with resin and I always get the circle in the middle where the clock handles go full of resin. I know you showed us how to go around the circle and not touch the whole but if the resin is self leveling and the whole is in the middle how do you avoid getting any resin in there ?
I can't seem to find info here on the mask you use here, ie, brand name, type, where to buy one, etc. Just not sure which is the right one considering you have advised the negatives of not using a mask. Your comments are appreciated. Great vid by the way. I love your simplicity. It speaks to me. Someone who learns by seeing and doing. This will be the first of many! PS: Cannot find resin & bluelight set. No longer available on Amazon?
Hello :) The mask link can be found under Respirator in the description. Any face respirator works well, but you need to make sure the filters are made by 3M. The resin and uv light link may be out of stock (this happens alot!) but there are many similar products on Amazon. 💕
Thank you for your videos. I'm just new to your channel. Does removable vinyl work for these, then sealing them with the resin, or do you need to use permanent vinyl.
my transfer tape is horrible. you made it look so easy. I tried to put resin on top but my vinyl started rolling together. did i have to much resin on top of it?
Yep! I usually do that but if you are a beginner I would start with 2 cups so you know the volume is correct. Too much of part A or part B will cause issues and the resin won’t cure.
what kind of acrylic discs do you use? the ones i got 2 different brands from amazon that didn't come with a masking tape protective layer (which i think is very helpful) one came with more of a brown paper that ripped off in pieces and the other a plastic that was very hard to get off.
Hi there, I’ve recently started using epoxy resin on acrylic blanks but have found that the resin drips when it’s curing and ruins the other side of the blank. What can I do to avoid this? Thanks in advance!
I love your videos. I am gathering info about craft business your videos are so helpful. I am curious is Cricut Joy easy to set up? Is it connected via an app or something and you control on your phone/computer? I was seeing complicated printers for fonts but this looks more efficient. Thanks ahead :)
hey hun I'm new to the Cricut and have been watching your videos and am looking to start a project but am so confused! I see once you get done with the donut, once it is done printing you put a tape-like material over it so you can stick it on the acrylic. What is the name of that tape? I'm sorry I'm so confused! talking about at 3:06 in the video!

Terrific instructional video..thanks. ….Not often i see my name on anything..made me smile when it came up.😁
thank you, will definitely try your technique when I make my own. Probably gonna make some as wedding favors
Looks so much better than using Mod Podge as this leaves thin lines. Got to give this a try. Thanks
Amzing. No words to praise you. Amazing explanation...
Omg 😱 so glad I found you video I receive my keys chain today’s and that it’s what I want to do THANK YOU 🙏
I like them. I will be watching more to learn from you.thanks Lisa 😊
LOVE LOVE LOVE your tutorial thanl you so much for sharing. It is the best tutorial that I have seen bless you 🥰❤🤗😘
Great tutorial, i have one question, what do you do if you have left some resin in the cups after you´r done with the key chains?
Depends how much there is left, sometimes I use them in smaller moulds like earrings or charms.
This video is so simple and absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I learned a lot about resin. Perfect idea.
Thank you! You made it easy to learn..and your Keychains , are beautiful!👌🏾
Oh thank you for this! Do you seal every keychain like that? Or do you sometimes leave it with only the vinyl? Thank you xx
Hi! I used your tutorial to make my first keychains and worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
Question, love the font. Which one did you use?
Love your tutorials! Thank you so much!! How did you shadow the name? Thanks.

Hi I love the video!
Can you tell me how to clean? Or just throw it away?
Best tutorial I have seen for these keychains! Thank you so much for sharing !
Hi. Ty.
Q: why did you use siser instead of a permanent vinyl?
I didn't know siser could be used without heat. Ty for sharing this.
Just Beautiful
I love your projects very nice! I was looking for inspiration and a few techniques and I found it!
Hi , you mentioned that you covered the keychain for 24 hours..
What do you cover it with? Thank you so much for sharing..
Just with a plastic basket

Seems like something I could do...Ill be trying this for sure
Wow I'm just starting hope you notice me 😍 thank you for sharing
Hi, great tutorial! Just wondering did the 20ml of resin make 1 or 2 keychains?
It makes a lot more than that, 8-10
Thanks a lot for the tutorial. My custom keychain came in with only one side protected by epoxy… the other side gets scratched so easily… first time ordering… just order the resin and I’m going coat it myself 3:
When you use the heat on the resin, do you touch the resin with the flame or hold it just above? Thank you

Amazon
So mesmerising to watch. 😍
💕 I would watch others resin alllllll dayyyyy!
Amazing video. I’m just wondering, can you use any glitter or is it specific glitter for resin?
Nice tutorial. Thanka for it. May i know where did you bought all your materials cause i wanted to follow your tutorials..
Great video! Thank you!
I want to try this but with one part resin and use UV light. Looks beautiful
Is the flame actually touching the resin? I have a couple of your svgs, I really like them.
Yes, the flame touches the resin. If you use a butane torch, it is hot enough to burst the bubbles for a small distance away.
@@DIYCraftTutorials thanks for the info!

Hermososssss!!!! Gracias y abracitos de colores desde Colombia!!! 🤗🤗🤗🇨🇴
Great video thanks for sharing. When sealing both sides with resin, how durable is the keyring? Does it get scratched or damaged?
depends on the resin and how well it cures, however if all done correctly it will not scratch or get damaged unless mis-treated.
Hi there.. it’s my first time watching your video… and first time trying to learn something… how did you write the names ?
can you use uv resin on the acrylic keychains?
i have cats and i want the fastest way lol, but i want to use the best method
.
Thank for the video. Have you had any problem with the resin separating from the acrylic circles?
Not with the resin I use. It usually happens with resin that is not for acrylic (like table top resin).
I can’t wait to do my keychains!!!! 😍😍🥰🥰🥰 thanks for this video!
You are so welcome!
@@DIYCraftTutorials doing resin indoors is extremely dangerous and should only be done outside
Awesome, can u use crystalac BRIGHT TONE TO SEAL AS well??
Thank you very much for this wonderful video.
Would this also work with UV resin?
Great video thanks for sharing.
When do you torch then? Right aftet the application? Ot wait a frw minutesv

Yes, removable vinyl will work once sealed 💜
That's great. Thanks for your reply.
Does resin dry up when left in the cup. I was just thinking since you din the other side 24hours after undis the glitter
Can you set under uv light?
Yes you can
So beautiful thank you for this tutorial 💜
Looks fantastic
Thank you. You are amazing. I am going to try this out.
my transfer tape is horrible. you made it look so easy. I tried to put resin on top but my vinyl started rolling together. did i have to much resin on top of it?
Excuse my ignorance but how do you clean the measuring cups with the resin in them?
Hi, do you mirror your image that you apply to the back of the blank acrylic?
Yes, I usually do. I forgot to mention that in the video because the icing layer can go both ways, but if it was text, you need to mirror.
Absolutely love this video
Loved your keychains, so pretty
Thank you! 🤗
can you use a uv lamp to speed up the process?
Great Video! Why do these keychains look matte while the ones in your other videos are clear?
Can you use any kind of Resin or does it have to be this brand you used?
Amazing video thank you 😊
Thank you. So is it 10 ml of A and B for each side of the acrylic keychain?
Yes
Hello on the part that you put the resin again on top after the first 24 hours how long do you wait for the 2nd coat? Another 24 hrs?
Can you pour both resin parts in one cup instead of two separate ones?
Yep! I usually do that but if you are a beginner I would start with 2 cups so you know the volume is correct. Too much of part A or part B will cause issues and the resin won’t cure.
@@DIYCraftTutorials can you use a regular cloth mask or does it have to be a ventilation mask? You give me so much inspiration! I love you ❤️

Hello :) it is Cricut brand transfer tape

Hello, just came across your video which was very helpful could you let me know the inches you used to layer sprinkles. thank you
Are you able to put under uv light for curing?
You can't cure Epoxy resin under a UV light, you would need to use UV resin
Thank you ! That's what I had thought. I was trying to re educate myself. I appreciate the reply
What kind of vinyl are you using? Is it just permanent adhesive vinyl?
What a great video can you used a Iv lamp Thanks so much for sharing I’m a new subscriber again thanks
the best video definitely gotta try this
Do you only have to seal it if you are putting glitter or do you put it with just the vinyl as well?
you don't have to seal if using permanent vinyl but it does leave a nice glass look
Will uv resin work as well?
Yes it will
Hi, Can you use UV resin for this Im a beginner looking into making key chains locally in my country town.
Yes you can, I have a couple keychain videos showing uv resin
Wow so craft..thanks for sharing
Podia ter legenda em português rsrs amei seu trabalho. Parabéns ❤❤❤
Great tutorial, is it a way to speed up the cure process? 24 hrs, is a long time to me lol
You could use UV Resin. It cures within a few minutes however the finish is not the best.
very beautiful
How long does it take 24hrs to cure on a keychain or shorter?
Can you tell me how you done the name with the white behind please xx
Could I use just a regular clear adhesive?
