    She did an awesome job at explaining the newer machine and it's advantages over the other models... but I love that it doesn't require you to just dump all of your current materials to be able to use it 😎

    Is the spéciality blades only in carriage two? Do all the collars go into carriage 1?

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Tammy! Carriage 1 is for the tools you would more commonly use, and carriage 2 is for speciality tools such as the rotary tool, 3mm kraft blade, and the punch tool! 😊

    Craft foam sheets.. what blade? What carriage (2?)? If carriage 2, why won't out cut? It keeps saying carriage 1 issues... so do I need to put a blade in it to just make it use blade 2/carriage? To be more specific it's fiam sheets sold at Michael's (color foam sheets, no sticky adhesive back)

      Hi there! Have you selected 'Kraft Cut' as your action, in carriage 1? There is also a 3mm Kraft Blade especially for the Cameo 4 which might be better to use as it can cut deeper. You might need to do 2 or more passes to cut through craft foam, depending on the thickness. You can also try to up the force and slow the speed of the cuts too. Hope this helps!

    Good morning. This was great and I appreciate your willingness to share this today. I do want to ask is there anywhere I can review all the blades and their functions as a reference guide or cheat sheet, please. Also, how do you use the pens, please. Thank you in advance.

    Hi, great video! What blade would you recommend to cut through wool felt material? Also what other tools would I need to complete a successful cut?

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there! The rotary blade is recommended by Silhouette for felt. 😊

    I was wondering what blade to use for stencil material? The 3 mm Kraft blade is what I think I need but it has turning numbers at the end near the blade, what are those numbers for and what would I set it at for stencil Mylar? I have a cameo 4.

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there! It's not a material that we're familar with using, however having a look on the Silhouette Studio, you can cut stencil material with the AutoBlade, and it selects a force of 3. You might have to run some tests, but this looks to be what the Silhouette Studio recommends!

    What blade would you use to cut 1mm sheet styrene plastic? Thanks.

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not a material listed on the Silhouette studio, however you should be able to use the standard blade with it, you will just manually need to adjust the depth/stregnth of the cut. 😊

      If the blade isn't cutting the vinyl it could be that it's not pushed all the way down into the blade holder. Another thing to check is if the blade has been damaged. If there is no longer a point on the blade you may need to purchase a replacement

    What blade is best to cut card stock? WITH my Cameo 3 when using a blade for card stock it dulled it quicker. So I didn’t like the same blade for paper and vinyl.

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Unfortunately, card will dull blades quicker than some other materials, we sell a 'premium' blade that offers longevity, but you may have to have 2 separate blades for use if you doesn't like using the same one for vinyl/paper.

    Can you use a rotary blade to cut lycra? If so what settings are best and would you recommend standard or stronger tack matt?

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cassie! Rotary blades can be used to cut fabric although we have not tested lyrca ourselves and so, can't be sure of the settings required - sorry! Strong tack mats are intended for sticky materials like fabric 😀

    I wanted to cut chipboard with the 3mm blade however no matter what I did, my carriage two would not accept it. I kept getting the message no cutting setting available yet it is in the software. It just refuses to use the second carriage. Any help would be appreciated as my delicate flower has given me nothing but misery straight out of it's box! I so wished I would have gotten the 3 instead as all of the people I know using the 3 have never had a problem.
