- Hello friends, after use of few month of mouse it’s scroll wheel starting some problem like now working properly, not scrolling smoothly, automatically going up and sown and lagging also. This problem happens with any brand of mouse like Dell Mouse, HP mouse, Logitech Mouse, Enter , Zebronics mouse, local brand Mouse etc. whether is wired or wireless problem looks different and reason may be same. So lets we solve this massive and get solution. Fixed two mouse using his methods. I haven't used petrol or anything, just used an old toothbrush to clean the dust while scrolling the wheel many times. After that, blew it with my mouth many times. After that, with the help of a screwdriver, pushed the coil as mentioned. It worked for two of my mouse, but haven't worked for the third one. But still amazed with the other two. Thanks a lot, man!

hey bro I just want to say thanks to you and thousands of selfless informative content creators on you tube. I was going to break my mouse out of frustration, in fact hit several times on table but thanks to high build quality it didnt break then I randomly search for video on you tube. As I type this, my mouse just started working fine.
My Flipkart 206w mouse had this issue, i used trimmer oil instead of petrol 😅 , it showed result in 1st attempt but it worked perfectly fine after 3 times repeating this process. Thanks for your help ☺️.
Suggestion: don't put too much oil. A single drop is more then enough.
BTW petrol is best option if

my mouse fell down from desk and scrooling was not working .. after watcing this video i joined the wheel with superglue and inserted it in the rotating wheel,, now its working perfectly... thank you man for awesome guide !

This trick actually works, Bro you saved me from buying a new mouse. I would highly recommend others to watch this video if such cases arises.
Thank you. It worked. i do not know what liquid are you using, someone mentioned gasoline. I tried something similar, that also dissolves fat lipophilic compounds.
1. firstly i put ethanol with ear buds. then i just poured ethanol on it so it was everywhere in a lot of amount.
2. doing scrolling to remove dirt, and cleaning upper part of that little plastic wheel circle when wet part of it is came up.
3. blowing everything so ethanol will vapor.
You can try WD40 instead.

amazing, it really worked, i have just repaired my wireless mouse wheel which was not working properly, it was kind of slipping on the screen but not actually slipping its hardware "i checked closely". not its working perfectly after applying petrol with a cloth.

My take on this:
First of all TQ very much
Secondly, I think one can use any volatile liquid for this like petrol, kerosene, sanitizer, nailpolish remover etc. I used sanitizer.
And I believe, the effect is more to do with the pressure that is applied than usage of the liquid.
I had applied too much sanitizer, due to which scrolling further reduced.
Now after 1 day, it is working better without any problem after the sanitizer got vaporised.
This worked really well. Thanks for the video bro. It really helped. I could not get WD40 so I used cleaning alcohol. Worked for me. Thanks again.

It happened to my old mouse, I couldn't see any dust there, so I bought a new mouse, but after only a few weeks it has the same issue... I was thinking it was a problem with windows, but I have different versions, I thought maybe I was hacked!
