I absolutely agree, amazing vocals, really mind blowing. To chose a favourite song, sung by Bobby, I wouldn’t know where to begin. Bobby didn’t get the deserved recognition at the time and I cannot fathom out why. Pure perfection and talent. In my mind he’s the most talented vocalist of all time, his range is off the scale.

Sir, it is a pleasure to see young people find Bill and Bobby. As you may have discovered, Bobby died some years ago. Bill is still performing and has the same energy he had in 1965. I played their music as a Rock Jock, starting with "You've Lost", Unchained", and "Soul and...". Soul, as you know, has no color, however, if it did, these guys would be black like the ace of spades. FYI, I am very white, 77 years old, and still rockin', but now in a chair. Rock on!

Bobby was so so amazing!!! Heard the White White comment. Felt no way but as a 70 yr old “white” woman I’ve held my own in a “black” West Indian community dancing. I was also included in an African dancing group - was part owner of a sound system playing all over England with the speaker boxes occupying my dining room. I’ve had the best life - have 4 beautiful black girlies who carry on my legacy of dancing and 8 grandees coming up. I have no problem with the white and black words as we are one and I just appreciate good music. This wonderful white singer is amazing but I’ve heard many wonderful black singers too - like my lovely Johnny Holt ( a favourite). I’m glad you appreciate Bobby because he was so wonderful and such a talent. It was so sad how and why he died 😢

I had never heard this song before and grew up in the 50 and 60s. Always loved their music.

1965 live… So there was no auto tune, in fact the microphone and the acoustics weren't that great. Yet he killed it! This guy had amazing range. Head and chest. The live versions are the most interesting because the recorded releases were a lot tamer. It's like he couldn't let loose. No one was doing runs like this back then.
