I kinda stop watching your videos for while because I stop playing Ark but you inspire me to play different content games until I subscribe to your channel so I can get notification when you release your video love it
So far honey,neck tails and grilled meat gives the best hp/hp per tick and stam boost of any food I've found. Also the bow shoots low and to the left,so aim higher up and right'ish some (specially at farther ranges). Fire arrows are great as well,resin wood and feathers for them,best use of these mats I've found. Shoot a bird (seagull,crow) to get feathers.
Just for anyone that doesnt know, the ground levels with the level of the ground that your character is standing on, so if you are standing on low ground it lowers the ground, if you are standing on high ground then it raises it.
You need FLINT (find it near the Rivers or Sea Shore) to build a Chopping Block which in turn IMPROVES your Work Bench, more tips as I progress though your Videos. Never plaayed the game buut have watched about 50 other players though to the END
I haven't watched all this episode as had to go to work :( but incase you haven't found out, get some flint from near water, and you can craft the chopping block that when placed near the workshop with increase the level of it
it is better if you craft shield and spear. Block all the time and only attack after he attack. I just kill it that way and seems easier than this method. Oh, and I kill it on day 6 or 7 (maybe) since I went around collecting bunch of stuff.
Eh its hard but its playable. but the building mechanics in this are completely scuffed and its an absolute pain. Has none of the "snap in place mechanics" like age of conan, rust etc. They shouldn't even be able to charge money when its that scuffed tbh. refunded untill its fixed.
It does snap, but you have to have the building item in the right position. That allows a lot more freedom in building than Ark and Conan Exiles (Not Age of Conan) has. The one thing I would like to see added to the game is a foundation type building item so you can get a more flat building area.
The game literally just came out on early access. If you buy it now, you are intentionally paying for an unfinished product. That's the point of early access.

Builds shield for the battle proceeds to not use shield once in the battle.
My alarm goes off every day at 10:50 so I can heat up my lunch in time for the new episode. The game played is largely irrelevant.

I know I'm 3 weeks late but do you even know how the building works? It works pretty damn well.
