Your first video helped to convince some of my friends to give Monster Hunter a shot and I'm glad your doing a follow up! Sunbreak has been amazing so far and it makes me really appreciate the A or B team setup the devs have used since they started doing the portable games; you get the best of both worlds of having the space to expand what Monster Hunter means without getting lost from what it started as. And even then you get some synergistic development where things done by the console developers influence the portable devs and vice verse. Gunlance was a unique one-off weapon in the lance tree back in MH1, and similarly so was Longsword within the Greatsword category. Eventually they became their own weapon types in, and I might be misremembering, MHF2 and MHTri respectively. I have high hopes for the future because the method of growing the franchise has proven over the titles to be the correct one.
Monster hunter ice born is still my favorite, gameplay 10/10 but the reason why I like it so much is that you can just sit in your character's room for hours and listen to the songs, and be relieved from life or just an escape from reality. I know this is overrated but the graphic for monster hunter ice born graphic is the best for me.
World is still my favourite game in all my life, and sure, risebreak does lack in some things if you compare it to Iceborne, but I ain't got almost 800 hours in rise for no reason xD.
@fk4998 The same could easily be said for those that love worldborne over SunRise. (Especially if they started with worldborne being that is their *first time*.) He just happens to have a preference after playing both.
Well, I'm new here, already enjoying the content. I know this may not be something that they would like to be reading considering how recent it is, but I heard about the abuse and I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. As someone who was in an abusive relationship as well, I know how difficult it can be to just return to a state of "normal". I hope things go well in your near and far future
yes finally someone explain what i have been feeling about them game, its not easier its just that vets and newer players from world are used to this movement and everything, honestly i love this franchise and have only hope that it gets better. been playing since the ps1 days btw
I cannot understate just how many wonders rise did for the pacing of this game, lance, FUCKING *LANCE* is now able to close the gap quickly on monsters in several different ways ranging from "safe but inflexible" to "LOOK AT ME I'M FUCKIN ZOOMIN" as opposed to previous game's "charge and pray the monster doesn't hit me in the 10 year window between ending my charge and being actionable again"
I think I do agree with the idea that Monster Hunter is evolving. But, on the flipside, I think the idea that people are only complaining about the new style of combat because of some nostalgia-induced rose-tinted glasses is a bit dismissive of a valid argument. Going back to older games definitely feels *to me* like a different game. I can see why people like the new games, but I do still appreciate and miss the slower pace of the older games. I absolutely love that Capcom is pushing to make their game more accessible and much less clunky, but I think doing so by removing aspects of the game isn't the best way to go about it, despite it being a valid and correct option. The old Pokke farm was a nice relaxing break area to go to, but I will admit I wish it wasn't always necessary to go there after every hunt. I would like to see the next game hopefully strike a better balance between this faster pace and the things that made the old "clunky" mechanics charming in their own way. Anyway, lil rant over. Amazing video as always. Keep it up!
Yeah I have to agree. I like both the new style and the old style, but some weapons just felt better with the older style. GS being hit and run weapon, and HBG having siege mode, for example. I just can't find GS fun since world, and HBG is just slower LBG now. But on the other hand SA and DB (among others) are so improved from the old styles. SA actually has morphing combos and DB is more than drinking dash juice and spamming demon dance.
God bless you Ed you are a fucking legend. I dont even play monster hunter but there's an Ed involved and cartoon network has taught me that's a good thing. Also hope your OK man and doing better.

I was incredibly happy to see this video. And also really glad you liked Rise and Sunbreak. I think with solid title updates, Sunbreak is poised to blow Iceborne out of the water. Also also. Metsu Shoryugeki gang.
From the news we've gotten, I think Sunbreak is definitely gonna be good. Better than Iceborne, though? Definitely not. I just want good hunting horn back, I beg thee Capcom
@@agssilv5919 that might be because rise and sunbreak dont have input queues, which is why some inputs just dont happen unless you mean something different with the feel of the game
Allrighty then at 8:12 there's an interlude with the song "theme from harry's game" and the phrase "The Thousand Spoon'd Serbian" which seems to be the latest installment in a cross youtuber ARG mystery thingy. Punk duck I have been watching you since middle school and now I’m entering my freshman year of college. Your content and your streams have always made my day and I have always loved your videos ! I’m so glad you still make them
Very personally, I vastly prefer WorldBorne, even with its… vast.. issues. But the hate Rise got did make me sad. It just doesn’t really do it for me personally, but it’s still a great game. And Sunbreak fixed like…. Literally everything. I don’t know if I’ll ever love RiseBreak to the same unhealthy degree I did with WorldBorne, but I’m honestly so glad it’s getting more recognition and praise! Even when it’s not my favorite, Monster Hunter just doesn’t miss!
so glad to see this posted, your previous MH video was probably one of my favorite Mh vidoes of all times and i 've been playing since the ps2 release so i can safely say that i've seen a decent amount by now.
I started with Worldborne then played Sunrise. Like you, I couldn't look back. Though for ME, Worldborne had a lot of stuff that just is unfun. Like it wanted to waste my time, RNG of decos(could never get what I wanted), grinding lands, me finding a monster only for it to roar the moment I latch on then roll away to the other side of the map 😑. (Like you, I used the mounts to try to circumvent this but...world likes to waste your time. They have to roar, sniff, look around, move 10 feet, sniff, then move again. Sometimes taking the long way) I love that SunRise gives multiple options and different styles of play. Sometimes I use wire bugs. Sometimes I'll do a whole hunt without them. (I'm surprised people don't try this. You don't have to use the bug moves. It's not like you are punished via hitzones for not using it like a certain grappling hook....Personally never use them with the greatsword as I find the weapon itself already fun evem without the bugs.) Sometimes I'll use dodge bolt over charge bolt. Sometimes I'll get spirit berbs or not (world maxed at 200 hp, Rise lets you max at 250. There's a dango food skill that even lets your berbs activate 3 times in a row and higher levels if you don't like getting them. With it you can max very easily just on your way to the monster) Sunrise is also the game that encouraged me to try different weapons. The arena modes with select weapons and builds were really fun. Never would have picked up hammer from heavy bowgun and bow had that not existed! Worldborne never encouraged that for me. Too much grind and risk. (Rise basically had 0 risk.) Edit: (there's also the fact that I prefer to play these games alone than with people. Worldborne kinda punishes you for that in ways like clutch claw, safi etc. Sunbreak gives the optional followers to help out. I love them so much. Especially since they are characters in the story. But again....optional! Also like Hazard quests. They are optional too but are great if you just want a harder challenge. Speaking of....try fighting hazard Monsters with only 150 hp. World Maxes at 200 rise 250....but try Rise with 150. Then try say Hazard Malzeno at 150, no wirebugs! You can still beat him if you are good enough, but you always have the OPTION of making it easier for yourself. Sunrise is big on making the difficulty optional through im game means. Spirit birds, wirebugs, etc.)
Look ill be honest, im not a fan of these games, my friend really wants to try Rise and I looked up some gameplay and I got this video. I think you have single handedly changed how I view this game. Im gonna have to give this game a real try. You genuinely peaked my interest in something I had already deemed not worth my time before even clicking the video. Actually impressive. Nice work.
LBG did get some much needed improvements to doing cool shit. Using the Switch Skill Swap to go from wirebug skills having you drift around a monster whilst pelting it and getting a damage buff, to wirebug skills that launch you forward so that you can jump over the monster and attach sticky repeatable explosions to it. I like over the top things.
I agree with pretty much everything except the whole "looking for the monster sucks" part. It may not be core to the series identity, but a big part of the game to me was having to figure out where the monster is and track it in the location. Makes the HUNTER part of Monster Hunter fit to me.
talking about newcomers, my first mh was actually rise, at first I was like "oh ok this is pretty easy", oh boy that HR 2 magnamalo hub quest gave me a fucking reality check, took me 40 goddamn tries for that, ever since then magnamalo was my favorite monster cause he represented the first ever gap that I jumped, he was essentially the farthest stepping stone imaginable
YES Edit: I didn't have much time to write a comment but I will now. I love your videos man. I hope things get alot better for you. You can always bring a smile to my face even in my darkest moments, and the monster hunter series wouldn't be the same to me without you.
And the HH isn't better it's different. Sure in worlds it was slow but it did do amazing dammage. Just was way harder to understand. It's essentially a greatsword that uses different moves depending on the opening. Now it just spams melody and A no matter the context. But that isn't bad it's just different.
Remember you also can play boringly with greatsword. If you want play spam melody and A, that's on you. Im seriously think rise HH is the most fun HH that ever be. Just see the number. HH user is rising in number.
@@sukanya90 Hunting horn is being used by more people now because it was made more accessible. The bad part is that it was at the cost of the people who liked hunting horn the way it was.
@@sukanya90 It has a higher number of players because it is almost a completely different weapon now. Blunt dual blades that basically just mash a combo loop until the monster falls over.
Hey, Punk Duck! Gonna be completely honest, I'm here because you're my favourite announcer in Paladins. Anyway, hope you're doing well, and make sure to stay hydrated!
I know at this point the vid is a year and a half old but Jesus fucking Christ it is so refreshing stepping out of the World/Iceborne circlejerk and stumbling on a vid that actually appreciates that Rise doesn't want to just be more of the same. The current "popular" opinion that Rise was a filler game or a step backwards for the series has always rubbed me the wrong way. Does the game look as pretty as World? Fuck no but at the same time why does that shit matter so much when the core of the series has always been function over form. While the faster and more action oriented combat is a subjective point as to whether it's better or worse than the more methodical combat of previous titles, to just dismiss it outright after finishing low rank and calling the game "too easy" is entirely disingenuous and is in my opinion people just looking for things to dislike because we didn't get World 2. While I do agree that base Rise was rough around the edges (especially with the elders having to be patched after the fact due to the pandemic) I think Sunbreak more than made up for those shortcomings much in the same way that I feel Iceborne elevated base world from flying wyvern hunt simulator into the masterpiece it is now. The games definitely both have their pros and cons and having a preference is completely understandable due to just how different they feel to play, but to just say Rise had nothing to offer the series and write it off as a failure is so sad to me because all that does is divide a community that used to be known for our unity and collective love for a series we all just want to see improve and succeed. If you're reading this comment thanks a ton for making this video and focusing on the positive aspects of the game, I see far too few people talk about just how fun this game really is, and honestly that's all that should matter at the end of the day when playing a video game.
I watched jfj’s video and saw you were in it and hoped you would make a video too. I was so happy to see this in my recommended i screamed. 10/10 would google wyverian eggs again
post sunbreak and id like to say its definitely not easier, the skill ceiling is ridiculous. only low rank was easy but as soon as High and Master rank came all the so called "op maneuverability" was balanced out by the cracked out sunbreak monsters. They even have set ups that trick you into wire falling out after getting hit, only to get wrecked after. Average Hr and Mr quests in world arent like this at all and I personally find it more comfortably paced. Of course world has hard monsters as well but in general terms its actually not as high octane as rise break is. Edit: the special investigations are unnecessarily focus oriented, its hard to keep up. Especially considering how large the health pools are, by the time my mind gets exhausted thats when I start fainting. Its a real mental endurance battle i tell ya and it only gets worse when you don't know the SP move sets a individual monster has.
I think Souls games were known for combat and boss fights, not the interconnected level design. It was something that made it cool and unique yeah, but more people were praising the games for being challenging.
maybe i am the only one, but i miss the helping system that we had in world/iceborn, it made it so easy to join a random quest and just having some fun + 16 ppl lobbys were the shit, i miss that.
I mean rise isn't bad, but I just preferred world. I was sad losing the mounting mechanic, I really don't like the wyvern riding, and I don't like a lot of the weapon changes. I still played rise, but once I finished it I never looked back. Sorry for having a different opinion I guess.
I only have 2 real issue with this game. 1. Wyvern riding is terrible it used to straight up break the flow of the hunt completely but thankfully Sunbreak made it optional but other than that it straight up nuked monster on monster interaction. Monsters just show up roar then leave or show up hit the monster once making them wyvern ride able then leave. Bazelgeuse basically doesn't have a personality anymore because of this. 2. I liked worlds environments more and how the monsters would interact with it, the worlds just felt more alive and a lot less gamey. The early game was also a bit of a snooze fest in base rise, I don't like being forced to fight 5 monsters of the same difficulty for until the next star level, I feel like world actually had a decent difficulty curve, like Anjanath being a wall for early players and he's like the 4th or 5th fight. Sunbreak fixed most of my problems with this game though beyond the initial 2. The combat is addicting as fuck. I love all the new options they gave us, the monster roster is overall pretty solid, gambling for charms is pretty fire to me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase overall. Gonna send this video to some of my friends and try to sell em on Rise lol.
I very much just wish that the game was less reliant on counter abilities and had the same environmental interactions that world had. The areas in Rise look good, but feel barren compared to World/Iceborne, similarly the monsters feel less like monsters with their own lives and more like things you just hit. World made them feel like actual creatures since they didn't just charge you immediately on sight (unless it's an aggressive type of monster). The interactions between monsters were more interesting rather than just luring one to another and getting a wyvern ride, people complain about clutch claw (rightfully so) but the wyvern riding loop in hunts is generally worse). The combat in Rise feels impactful and I think that's the best thing to focus on in these games, but the little details around that really take away from the experience when neglected for the sake of only the combat.
I used to hate on rise until I actually played the damn thing, fixed many glaring issues with world like roster and skeleton variety, also weapon upgrades are not just fur slapped on the same design thank goodness. There are issues with rise but I feel like those games compliment each other. You miss something one game did then go back to it until you miss something the other one did right then you go to that one.
SO happy to see this content back :) Watched the iceborne video over and over again, and happy to see ive got even more stuff to show people. Keep it up!
8:17 ANOTHER ONE. is this just to fuck with us or are there any other clues? Mandy, this, noodle, Leon Massey and Funke already have segments like these (that I know of)
FUNKe "Concept Albums (That I Like)"; JFJ "Fun is fun 24"; Brendaniel "The Mtn Dew Review - Purple Thunder"; Mandalore, "Marathon Review"; Leon Massey "The Life And Death Of Skateboarding Games"; Raycevick "Max Payne "Clones""; Noodle "NEED FOR SPEED - A History" and this video are the ones I know of for now. It's so freaking weird.
I, sunbreak’s strongest fan, cannot stand for this hunting horn slander. Iceborne hunting horn was my baby and my wishlist for the entirety of rise’s lifespan has been for it to return someday though I know that’s impossible since recitals as they were wouldn’t have worked with the speed of the game. New hunting horn might have pulled in more numbers but I don’t think any of them are lasting fans and hey I don’t see lance needing a rework. Can’t remember the last time I used a blue note on a weapon that’s supposed to be about making songs with your attacks. Echo mode also isn’t really old hunting horn.
Oh my god, this is so true. I dropped MhRise really early just because i couldn't play any other weapon than HH and HH felt dreadful to play. On a side note, I really want to play the game again but I don't know if things have changed with sunbreak or if maybe I should just try to play another weapon because I know Rise is amazing. As a iceborne HH lover, did you keep playin HH or someth else?
Yay, you're back...was worried you abandoned your channel but good to know people with Creativity and Humour out the ass are still alive. New to your channel but enjoying your content.
God your commentary on the difficulty of the franchise couples with player familiarity with the controls is so God damn spot on you just earned my sub for that. I'm so sick of people whining that post 5th gen is babysitter simulator. Or that the lengths of the hunts are super short now. There were minute long speed runs in pre 5th gen and post 5th gen. There were average 15 min hunts pre 5th gen and post 5th gen. This isn't a world/Rise issue, hunting boomers have been whining every gen, you can find old reddit threads that still exist of people complaining when tri came out that the monsters got way easier. Length of hunts haven't changed they are just hunting boomers. I started in 4U and played every Gen (quit MH1 that game is legit ass no one can convince me otherwise) and the hunting aspect is literally the same from FU to Rise the only difference is the tedium that takes place BETWEEN hunts. I don't have to visit 35 dumb stations and watch an entire animation play out when I want to gather a single bug off my farm anymore I just click the argosy and go. If you like the tedium that's fine, if you want drop rates to be lower so you're forced to hunt every monster 8-12 times to make an armor set that's fine. But the actual hunts haven't changed. Everything is faster, both monster and hunter, but the length of time is adjusted as well. If the hunts feel quicker to you now, it's because you're better at the game, I just got a friend into MH and I can tell you this rookie takes 15 minutes to kill an arzuros and carts twice. My only legitimate complaint in rise is spiribirds are really annoying let the food give me my buffs. But even they aren't game breaking issues to me. Rant over great video you seem like the perfect person to hunt with
Haven’t been watching you for a bit, and missed your uploads, but heard about what happened recently, and so glad to see you’re here again! What a great day to see one of my fav TH-camrs here again! Don’t know why I didn’t sub sooner, but I did now!
Gotta say after watching your vid and all the stuff happening elsewhere I have to say: You had my attention but now you have my respect Just bringing out this banger vid with nothing but based opinions Whatever happens to you I hope to god it’s good because you deserve the best in life man
Only thing I'll disagree with is your point about hunting horn being an example of weapons being improved. Rise's hunting horn is incredibly mindless, at least when it comes to the song system.
Same my guy, I dropped Rise just because of HH, being my only loved weapon. Did anything change with sunbreak or is it the same, because I really want to get into Rise again but I don't want to have that same disappointment.
I miss the colossal monsters. Cedeus, Jhen and Darren Mohran, Zora needed more combat but I'd still fight it, even Xeno and Safi. I just want to fight bigger monsters and fight more monsters on their backs
I also disagree with your elden ring take. Yes it's open world but it's a masterpiece in level design. Imo better than dark souls. It's harder to design an open world game and give it the depth of souls level design. And they do pull it off. The game has lanes but of exploration. And there is a flow to it.
Personally I'm a mixed bag on Rise/Sunbreak. It's as fun as it's ever been, and the combat the best it's ever been, however, idk, call me a hipster but I kinda like the slower combat in the other games, and some stuff in Rise just feels TOO fast sometimes. Though for me, its Hunting Horn. Its been my main weapon for years but, while I like Rise Horn (which I affectionately call the "Beat Stick"), I felt it's rework was a mistake, alienating a lot of old fans for a complete makeover and hardly resembling the more skill based gameplay it had before, with the song system being neutered and it's skill cap being lowered drastically. Theres still some semblance of it there but it just left a bittersweet taste in my mouth.....yet AT THE SAME TIME IT FILLS ME WITH A TON OF ENERGY WHILE BREAKDANCING ON THE DAMN MONSTERS BEFORE USING A DAMN EGG TO BURST THEIR EAR DRUMS. I hope we get the old horn back for MH 6 and the Rise one becomes it's own thing, or a combination of Iceborne and Rise horn I think would be fucking perfect.

@fk4998 The same could easily be said for those that love worldborne over SunRise. (Especially if they started with worldborne being that is their *first time*.)
He just happens to have a preference after playing both.
We can't forget that rise was designed for switch so the graphics and other things had to be toned down
The amount of egg jokes in this video brings a smile to my face
It’s Eggceptional!
They are eggcelent jokes
It's so good to see this man back in some action. Be strong and stay hard Punk Duck!
After all that happened homie dropped a banger yet again love ya punk duck and can’t wait to see more to come
Well, I'm new here, already enjoying the content. I know this may not be something that they would like to be reading considering how recent it is, but I heard about the abuse and I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. As someone who was in an abusive relationship as well, I know how difficult it can be to just return to a state of "normal". I hope things go well in your near and far future
Welcome back king!
Also hope things have been going much better for you bro, much love.
yes finally someone explain what i have been feeling about them game, its not easier its just that vets and newer players from world are used to this movement and everything, honestly i love this franchise and have only hope that it gets better. been playing since the ps1 days btw
I played rise first before mhw/i and it is kinda easier but both are miles easier than freedom unite.
@@Prefix1998can confirm. It’s like a whole other ballpark, I actually have a lot of trouble with it 😅
The Monster Hunter 3tri slander is unforgivable
True
I cannot understate just how many wonders rise did for the pacing of this game, lance, FUCKING *LANCE* is now able to close the gap quickly on monsters in several different ways ranging from "safe but inflexible" to "LOOK AT ME I'M FUCKIN ZOOMIN" as opposed to previous game's "charge and pray the monster doesn't hit me in the 10 year window between ending my charge and being actionable again"
OMFG FINALLYYYYYYY THE LEGEND UPLOADED
Keep it up!
If you're interested in the opposing side of Punk Duck's argument I highly recommend Ratatoskr or Jakob.
@@Rathadude yeah I watch them. I love watching Ratatoskr’s podcast.
Love a lot of your videos and have seen what you’ve gone through. Just know that you have a well meaning and loving community that will support you 100%❤️
I was incredibly happy to see this video. And also really glad you liked Rise and Sunbreak. I think with solid title updates, Sunbreak is poised to blow Iceborne out of the water. Also also. Metsu Shoryugeki gang.
SnS mains represent!
I wouldn't not say blow out of the water becouse imo world feels much better but it might come close
@@agssilv5919 nah, world doesn’t have nearly as much build variety.
From the news we've gotten, I think Sunbreak is definitely gonna be good. Better than Iceborne, though? Definitely not.
I just want good hunting horn back, I beg thee Capcom

The first installment I can find is from Noodle's Need for Speed video at 9:03 with the phrase "i can be anywhere" then in FUNKe's Concept Album video at 6:04 with "light into water reflections" then in Mandalore's Marathon video at 9:27 with "we all have a real first floor" and in Leon Massey's Skateboarding Games video at 1:08:30 with "the turtles hiding in shells"

Monster Hunter newbs World brought in to the series are the worst
so glad to see this posted, your previous MH video was probably one of my favorite Mh vidoes of all times and i 've been playing since the ps2 release so i can safely say that i've seen a decent amount by now.
Sometimes taking the long way)
I love that SunRise gives multiple options and different styles of play.
Sometimes I use wire bugs. Sometimes I'll do a whole hunt without them.
(I'm surprised people don't try this. You don't have to use the bug moves. It's not like you are punished via hitzones for not using it like a certain grappling hook....Personally never use them with the greatsword as I find the weapon itself already fun evem without the bugs.)
Sometimes I'll use dodge bolt over charge bolt.
Sometimes I'll get spirit berbs or not (world maxed at 200 hp, Rise lets you max at 250. There's a dango food skill that even lets your berbs activate 3 times in a row and higher levels if you don't like getting them. With it you can max very easily just on your way to the monster)
Sunrise is also the game that encouraged me to try different weapons. The arena modes with select weapons and builds were really fun. Never would have picked up hammer from heavy bowgun and bow had that not existed! Worldborne never encouraged that for me. Too much grind and risk.
(Rise basically had 0 risk.)
Edit: (there's also the fact that I prefer to play these games alone than with people.
I have literally watched your How To Monster Hunter video like 4 times dude it was so good, glad to see you are still dong stuff in the series.
This video was hekkin amazing! You and your editors manage to give them a flow that just doesn't leave you bored for a SECOND watching it!
a year already passed and that line still got me:
"FIGHT SMART AND STAY HARD"
Monster Hunter continues to remind me of the good that can come from gaming in this era
Don't shit on my old hunting horn unless you want your eardrums ruptured
I watched your how to MHW video and LOVED it
Watched it too many times
HYPED to watch this one
It’s beyond amazing to see you post again bro!
The MH Tri slander is not appreciated. I am watching you.
Nice work.
I hope you’re recovering from what happened man, I’m proud of you
LBG did get some much needed improvements to doing cool shit. Using the Switch Skill Swap to go from wirebug skills having you drift around a monster whilst pelting it and getting a damage buff, to wirebug skills that launch you forward so that you can jump over the monster and attach sticky repeatable explosions to it.
I like over the top things.
Freaking wet seeing punkduck back. Was constantly watching his old videos and showing my friends true humor haha
I agree with pretty much everything except the whole "looking for the monster sucks" part. It may not be core to the series identity, but a big part of the game to me was having to figure out where the monster is and track it in the location. Makes the HUNTER part of Monster Hunter fit to me.
talking about newcomers, my first mh was actually rise, at first I was like "oh ok this is pretty easy", oh boy that HR 2 magnamalo hub quest gave me a fucking reality check, took me 40 goddamn tries for that, ever since then magnamalo was my favorite monster cause he represented the first ever gap that I jumped, he was essentially the farthest stepping stone imaginable
haha ye, thats monster hunter for ya
"aye, that easy" *5 mins later* "oh god oh fuck oh god of fuck" *becoming better* and repeat
YES Edit: I didn't have much time to write a comment but I will now.
I love your videos man. I hope things get alot better for you. You can always bring a smile to my face even in my darkest moments, and the monster hunter series wouldn't be the same to me without you.
Even if it takes 8 months, I can always count on the Duck posting something worth the wait.
How did you know I was watching on Sunday? Thanks for the smiles from thos video I really needed it!
World HH was my favorite, because encore system was great and stylish. IB kind of ruined it by making the spinning move so strong.
@@EnraiChannel true. I miss encores being strongest, because that made buffing be your damage. A perfect back encore was so stylish.
No way, the man is still posting! I am SO happy to see a new video from you, keep on moving forward man!
Hey, Punk Duck! Gonna be completely honest, I'm here because you're my favourite announcer in Paladins. Anyway, hope you're doing well, and make sure to stay hydrated!
13:07 the Call back to Equest in the world video combined with the reoccurring gag. Nice bro 👏👌
Bruh the quality of this video is astonishing welcome back man
I watched jfj’s video and saw you were in it and hoped you would make a video too. I was so happy to see this in my recommended i screamed.
10/10 would google wyverian eggs again
omg of course this guy plays monster hunter, ily so much bro
Rise is honestly my favorite Frontier rendition. Thank you Capcom!
FINALLY! I was waiting for this for like a year. Keep going forward duck, we are always here
post sunbreak and id like to say its definitely not easier, the skill ceiling is ridiculous. only low rank was easy but as soon as High and Master rank came all the so called "op maneuverability" was balanced out by the cracked out sunbreak monsters.
OMFG YES I thought you weren't going to cover it after sunbreak came out this long but holy am I ready for it
It feels weird to say that as an adult I grew up with Punk Duck
I absolutely loved the last video (best video I have ever seen on youtube) Can't wait to check this one out!!!!!
this vid single handedly inspired me to go through the early game again after my save corrupted
Happened to a friend of mine too. He started again 2 days before this banger came out lol
How to monster hunter world is the best video i ever saw. Still giving me goosebumps when i am watching it. Cant wait to watch this banger
I think Souls games were known for combat and boss fights, not the interconnected level design. It was something that made it cool and unique yeah, but more people were praising the games for being challenging.
I'm ecstatic to see you make a new video again. Found you with your metal gear video and fell in love
maybe i am the only one, but i miss the helping system that we had in world/iceborn, it made it so easy to join a random quest and just having some fun + 16 ppl lobbys were the shit, i miss that.
The duck is back baby! 🦆
I mean rise isn't bad, but I just preferred world. I was sad losing the mounting mechanic, I really don't like the wyvern riding, and I don't like a lot of the weapon changes. I still played rise, but once I finished it I never looked back.
Sorry for having a different opinion I guess.
Your monster Hunter videos are genuinely the best on TH-cam. Would love to see another for Sunbreak!
That first statement is just down right wrong
@@raigrex8362 How so?
Literally cried happy tears man. Glad you're doing better.
Great video though, very enjoyable!
I hope your doin good bro! After the hyojin stuff I’ve decided to get into your channel to support you and ive found i like it very much
I used to hate on rise until I actually played the damn thing, fixed many glaring issues with world like roster and skeleton variety, also weapon upgrades are not just fur slapped on the same design thank goodness. There are issues with rise but I feel like those games compliment each other. You miss something one game did then go back to it until you miss something the other one did right then you go to that one.
SO happy to see this content back :) Watched the iceborne video over and over again, and happy to see ive got even more stuff to show people. Keep it up!
I am very sorry for you about this whole squizzy thing. I hope you find peace

WELCOME BACK YOU BEAUTIFUL DUCK DUDE!!
Finally somebody who looks at ruse for what it is
I remember watching your videos all the way since the Smite days and how you influenced me to learn editing on Vegas. Keep it up brother
Give this man all the love in the universe after dealing with Squizzy
Respect for you bro, we’re here for you
LET'S GOOO, a new video and in Monster Hunter no less, this is gonna be 👌
God your commentary on the difficulty of the franchise couples with player familiarity with the controls is so God damn spot on you just earned my sub for that.
What happened?
Gotta say after watching your vid and all the stuff happening elsewhere I have to say:
You had my attention but now you have my respect
Just bringing out this banger vid with nothing but based opinions
Whatever happens to you I hope to god it’s good because you deserve the best in life man
Real banger as usual dude love your work
Only thing I'll disagree with is your point about hunting horn being an example of weapons being improved.
Quite the day when the punk duck has an upload, especially monster hunter
I miss the colossal monsters. Cedeus, Jhen and Darren Mohran, Zora needed more combat but I'd still fight it, even Xeno and Safi.
I just want to fight bigger monsters and fight more monsters on their backs
Dalamadur,the Fatalis variant,Ahtal-kal etc.
come on capcom!
Especially Ahtal-kal,she's badass
Punkduck is like a straight upisnotjump
I also disagree with your elden ring take.
Yes it's open world but it's a masterpiece in level design. Imo better than dark souls. It's harder to design an open world game and give it the depth of souls level design.
And they do pull it off. The game has lanes but of exploration. And there is a flow to it.
The call back to the world video in the outro - very nice.
I was so happy you uploaded again I watched the ad part 2 times
