(This is the companion/follow-up to “Exercises…” There is a great fan-made video with ENGLISH SUBTITLES ON-SCREEN, since the lyrics are in Spanish. Also… “La Japonaise”. (With Japanese lyrics… I haven’t checked to see if there’s a video with English subtitles.)🫶

Montserrat was known for her pianissimo ( the graduated up and down of her voice ) …..l I once saw her teaching her grown daughter whose voice is comparative but my goodness Montsy was a perfectionist and her daughter had a bucket load of patience with the “ do overs “ . I never had any soprano pierce my soul with the quality of her high notes without piercing my eardrums ….. smooth as silk , was her voice . ❤🙏 May they both rest in peace in heaven .

Yay! I've been hoping you'd react to this one. I admit I did a little happy dance when I saw that you'd posted! This one was a life changing song for me, every emotion all at once. Since you haven’t reacted to them much, in case you’re unaware, Freddy was battling AIDS at the time and was getting sicker. This was one of his last performances. Montserrat has been quoted saying she saw him crying and reached out for his hand in which he then kissed as he teared up. Imagine if Freddy was born 25 years later. He would have lived a full life into his 80’s+ (i can hope)
