I absolutely love how you end it with your photographs. It's so much fun, and they are of such high quality- Kudos to both you and Oleg, since both of you have taken them. It's literally just because you're from New York, but I kind of think of you as giving off a real youtube Joan Didion vibe, which is a very interesting combination. I also say this after having read a singular essay by the woman. I don't know if this compliment/comment/whatever it is, carries much weight at all but like... it's groovy! I'm guessing that there is one episode left of this? It has been an absolute blast, and they're really edited to perfection. I'm about to rewatch your 22 states video, because LORDIE is that one a ride. There are, like, 4 book shops in Trondheim. Plus a book bar, which I might have mentioned in a previous comment. THAT place is super fun. Do you feel like you've been taking a break in the weeks that you've been uploading these instead of filming? I hope you've been relaxing and grooving it up a bit. I am loving the amount of stuff you've been giving us lately, but I especially love your originality. I love that you aren't just (although I appreciate those too) "Here's a book tag of books I never read", "Here are the top 10 ships of identical character dynamics that all taste like cardboard" etc. I would watch anything you put out, but I love that they're not what I see everyday. Keep doing you!
LOVE that comment and it makes me feel grand for any Joan comparison, so I take it as a major compliment. I have about 3 more videos ( I am still editing some. eeek!), but it should be wrapped up by mid October, I imagine. I am trying to insert as many book videos as possible, but the editing takes such a long time! But by November, it'll be all NYC/book related content again. I love my bookie babies :)
