So first the sand is a bit wet you’ll need to cake the wax on then next step is to buff it. Lightly rub it three times on tye sand. This will give you a better take off. If you take iff better you will have the speed to carry you through down the hill. Have fun guys

Ok, I’m intrigued about the little cooker you used and the beef stroganoff pkg. Did you find on Amazon? Do you use the cooktop much? I have the sister to your Scope a Rize. So I’m always interested in the different methods we all use. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels in CO. 😉

We love the Jet Boil and have used several times. We did purchase on Amazon and Peak Refuel packets are available. They come in handy while hiking or a quick meal in camper. We do use the cooktop some, mainly for breakfast though. Thanks for being part of our journeys and happy travels!

Starting your Colorado journey at Great Sand Dunes National Park sounds amazing! 🏜 Vanlife in your Thor Scope Camper Van, with dunes on one side and snow-capped mountains on the other, must have been incredible. Camping, sledding, hiking, and enjoying nature's peace and quiet - what an adventure! Thanks for sharing your experience.
    Cheers,
