One of the #1 signs of a fantastic group of people is the sharing of finds! I can tell just by watching yalls videos that every one of you are top notch characters! Hard to find in today's day and age! Best of luck to yall on future digs!
.Wow friends, excellent edition, camaraderie and above all excellent find and magnificent information. He learned many things with both you editing and reporting his findings. Matthew, Chris and Randy great hunting companions. Congratulations. Blessings always on your way.
Wow! What a great hunt. So good seeing Randy out with you all, and glad you were all there to help Spike getting down and back up. I know what it's like.
Thanks Jack. I believe you may be right. We have to wait until turkey season is over now and then it may be too hot for me to dig lol. Good luck to yall up there. Spike
Holy cow…what a sweet honey hole ! Great finds there fellers. I think it was Matthew that said that he thought those palm sized, dimpled stones were used as palm protectors when drilling. I concur. For years I called all of those nutting stones and I suppose some were but I’m more inclined in recent years to think of them as drill parts. The size of them more strongly reflects that use, to me. Thanks for another great video guys. Enjoyed it, as usual.
Spike! Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Lol. Wow guys. Now I'm going to look at power poll clearings and wonder. Randy, good to see your back out digging.
Thanks. Randy stuck a Black Locust thorn in the back of his hand that required two surgeries to remove it all. If we get a chance we are going to try to do a vlog and talk about what has been going on with us over the winter and talk about this.
I can appreciate what y'all do. I have family out in y'all's area. I may be a novice at digging but have y'all ever considered the hill country west os San Antonio? It's one of the biggest and most inhabited by past natives in the country. There's so much flint and wildlife in that area that they never had to go too far. Anyway, thanks for what y'all do. I really enjoy and have learned a lot from y'all. God bless
Thanks for watching and for the great comment. There are so many places we would like to hunt but we don't have the time to hunt everything in our area. Maybe one day we'll make it out there.
You were talking about the light and dark layers of soil; just a thought, but you're next to a creek-- I wonder if the creek had shifted, leaving a nice, flat sandy/clay bank where you're finding a lot of relics, both from being a place the former inhabitants worked and a place where the creek deposited stuff. Then later the creek shifted even further away and you got brush growing on top of the sand/clay and laying down humus, plenty of seasons of leaf/grass debris, the usual wildland fires, etc., and there's your darker soil. Maybe, maybe not; but the strong demarcation generally doesn't happen without a reason.
That's kind of the way it works but that little creek has never been up on that hill. The color differences are where over time all the organics have been depleted in the yellow layer and it is virtually sterile. The upper dark layer still has those organics in it and as they are depleted at the bottom of the layer (because it has been there the longest) it gradually loose it's color.
Always enjoy watching you guys. Would like to go arrowhead hunting again myself. Grew up in Simpson County and there was piece of land there where we would find lots of them. This place we farmed back over 40 years ago. Now knowing what I know now would probably find much more. I could posdibly give you little more info let me know
Thanks. We appreciate the offer. We have hunted Simson county once and id pretty good. Haven't had a chance to go back again. Please send us an email from our Webpage www.heartbreakerrelics.com . We can get the info through email and thanks again.
Killer site! I'm assuming u have that Saint T. To Randy. That was an awesome Find!! I went to Bubbas on Saturday and found some amazing stuff..He is such a good guy! My Best was a Killer Drill! Yall should definitely go dig w him
It wasn't a St. Tammany. I yelled prematurely lol. We're going to get over there and dig with Bubba. Hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for stopping by and for the great comment.
Excellent vid, men. I really enjoy your channel. What is your theory to why these artifacts are not deeper in the ground. Was it turned over when they put those pole lines in? Spike, praying you get back to 100% health...kayak season is fast approaching.
Thanks and good question! It's the same way in the woods on both sides of the powerline. The top soil layer is very thin then there's a layer of the sandyish soil with nothing in it and both layers are only about eight inches deep. then you hit the hard pan. We have never found anything in the below the hardpan. There just isn't enough soil here for them to get any deeper. Why there isn't more soil, I don't know. That would be a question for our state geologist, James Starnes. It I remember I'll ask him the next time we talk.
Check out my short video on TH-cam of all my arrowhead collection that I've been finding over the years And maybe we can go Arrowhead hunting together I live in Arkansas and the Mississippi Delta area Lots of arrowheads😊
My Favorite part about this video is when he gave Glory and Honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of God !! Roman’s 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt Believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead , thou Shalt be Saved. ONLY Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ, that he died and Resurrected from the dead will get you into Heaven!!

Spike! Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Lol. Wow guys. Now I'm going to look at power poll clearings and wonder. Randy, good to see your back out digging.
Many years ago a lot of my points came from power lines while deer hunting. There was easy access and everything wasn't posted and tied up back then.
Awesome hunt guys!
Thanks!
So good to see you guys finding some great artifacts. Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks Ben. We appreciate you my friend. Good luck up there.

I love watching how your videos evolve and get more sophisticated. Watch out Steven Spielberg!
Thank you very much. You just made my day.
❤
Thanks.
😊
That bolen bevel looks real similar to our (north Arkansas) rice lobe
It is similar.
Nice recoveries guys..is that the second chair you have broken? Take care and God bless..
Yes it is! They can't stand up to the pressure lol. Thanks for watching James. We appreciate you my friend.
@@HeartbreakerRelics take care buddy and we'll see you on the next one.

Bolens are the BEST
We love them but I gotta go with a San Patrice or a Cache River.
How does one get to dig in those powerline strips? On private land? Around here they are mostly on evil TVA's land.
Oh yeah, subbed
Yes, private land.
I love u guys srrtrait up
Thanks
Check out my short video on TH-cam of all my arrowhead collection that I've been finding over the years And maybe we can go Arrowhead hunting together I live in Arkansas and the Mississippi Delta area Lots of arrowheads😊
Thanks. Will do.
I wish there was a way to find out about the person who created it and the story behind why it was left/lost.
Thant's one of the things that keeps us going.
What advice would you give me wanting to get started in arrow head hunting. I retired a couple yea4s ago.

This video should help. Good luck.
I think U ALL lived. There & ate there & hunted gathered in PAST LIFETIMES
HAVE RESSURECTED......
Sometimes I wonder about that too.
A new season is here looking forward to the kill shots!
Thanks but the "killshot" is PineBeltRelics trademark but hey we're almost always together anyway. Thanks again and good luck and happy hunting.
Normally love yalls videos but today no closeups come on and help me out
Sorry. We realized that too late. We will try to do better.

🐂
So shallow
There isn't much top soil here.
@@HeartbreakerRelics ya I did catch that in the video after, that the dozers skimmed off the top few inches, that's a great spot
