    the only thing keeping yourself from getting what you want is the story you tell yourself. suffering doesn't come from facts it comes from the perception of it. Greatly said. Perception is everything.

    I pulled out a notebook today to study for this new job- and found all these notes I’d taken last year of Tony’s talks: “Trade your expectations for appreciation and your whole life will change.” --“Pain stays until you find something more valuable than the pain.”

    How can you change your perception? You know I was in a relationship and we broke up, I’m heartbroken and we work together so he likes to talk to other girls so, I’m cruel to myself and said you see he never loved, he knows and he’s doing it anyway so how do I change that?

    • @endoplasmic7995
      @endoplasmic7995 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He’s a human and he’s moving on. You deserve the same to move on. Be grateful for the relationship you had and look forward to the next one. He’s just as miserable as you right now. Don’t get caught in that. Move on, be happy, and be amazed at what comes into your life when you change your attitude

    I believe in myself very much and im very co fident, but what has happened to me when i was younger i got in with wrong ppl and started doing drugs, and i had really fragile teeth even without drugs they started chipping already , im talking at age 20 already, so by now most have fallen , out, it has destroyed me, before i was the dude that did t even need to ask girls out, they would ask me ou( i was shy as kid) so even if i wanted i probably wouldnt have asked anyway hah, also even duded used to tell me i could be like a duece bigalow or actor, so i think thats why its so hard for me now, i dont talk yo anyone as wrll noe, nothing happens in my life , in my house i have ppl sleeping in living room so i barely even eat, I really wanted to atleast die the way i wantwd by being helpful, if i could have found some training and way to get to ukraine i would, but cant even that as i still have to drinks these opioid medications, and i had horrible childhood as well

    Most people learn at a very young age that what you want and what you can have are two very different things. Here are a couple of examples. Let's suppose a guy says, "I want to make $300,000 per year." If you want to make $300K per year, that means you have to acquire the skills and knowledge to earn that kind of money. Let's suppose a guy says, "I want a woman who is a ten and I'm not going any lower.' But if the guy is only a five, how could he expect to get a ten? If you want a woman who is a ten, that means that you have to be a guy who is also ten. Here is another example. Let's suppose a teenager says, "I want to be a professional basketball player." But if the kid is only 5'6 and weighs 200 lbs, forget it. A professional basket ball player is out of the question.

    Please visit Gaza and see if the suffering there is just the perception of these peoples lives
    How can you say what is happening TO them is happening FOR them
    There is NO way out for them

      Do you watch that on tv? Turn it off and send healing love to them. Do you watch it on YT? Turn it off and send healing love. When we focus on the negative, we add energy to THAT. There is no solution that has the same energy as the problem. Send LOVE. LOVE HEALS ALL ❤

      I see where you’re coming from and feel like pointing you to Viktor Frankl, a concentration camp survivor who became one of the 20th century’s greatest psychologists, will greatly benefit your perspective. You might gain a lot from his book Man’s Search for Meaning.

    • @terrantaylor33
      @terrantaylor33 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      He obviously isn’t talking about world mass suffering. About world destruction that is uncontrollable. He is talking about our own individual narratives, and our own personal development. Not a heinous world issue.
      This is the wrong feed for that type of comment. If anything I’m sure Tony with his philanthropic work, has invested much into Gaza. Like most of us.
      If you want world peace, then putting your energy about your passion in the wrong way is not going to contribute to that energy. You’re only contributing hatred yourself. Direct your passion correctly and stop targeting people who are changing lives.

      This message while it can be applied to the vast majority who are only in there own self created hell doesn't fit into those in actual wartime nearly as well. Finding one circumstance where his message isn't as affective does not, however. Invalidate it's truthfulness
