I appreciate the wisdom, and I'm working hard to be outstanding, but I’m worried about this reality. It feels like the new world belongs to the top 5% who are outstanding or excellent, while the other 95% who are good or poor are barely getting by. This doesn’t seem sustainable. What can be done?

I have standards. When I work, people know I work I do everything be cause I'm through, and do it right. I get alot of compliments on anything I work on, because I was raised to believe that is what is expected.
I used to have high standards. And I lived by them. But it’s a harsh world. The returns weren’t there. I treated people well, and they didn’t return the love. I worked hard, no reward from the companies. High standards aren’t enough in this world.
