*GASP* Prince Edward Island is where Anne of Green Gables is based!! I always recommend that book to everyone, it’s a easy to read classic that is just sunshine
Carley Fortune said that each of her books is a love letter to a place important to her, which makes a lot of sense why the scenery in her books is well done! I love that

As a Canadian who lived on Prince Edward Island for a few years, it is crazy to hear people dont know it exists! Such a beautiful place. Also have you not read Anne of Green Gables?! It is a Canadian classic!😜

It's part of immersing myself in the season I'm in as much as possible. I also enjoy reading and watching stories set in a soon approaching, anticipated season such as Christmas stories in late fall.
I am here this early to show my gratitude and love towards Haley ❤. I have been following her for a while, she helped me get out of my down time by teaching me about books and all now I am all happy and better recovering from my trauma and finding a piece of myself in every book I read and I would like to thank Haley for this precious gift of books❤❤❤❤. I love you so much Haley, hope you stay happy and healthy forever. Praying for you every moment of my life ❤

My fav Christina Lauren book is by faaaar Autoboyography. Heart-wrenching queer love story which dives deep into things like religion, sexuality, family etc. Honestly never hear anyone talking about it but it's amazing!
Lauren Asher’s Dirty Air series is one of my favs!! Definitely recommend! You said you like books that have some sad sub plot or something they are working through, the third book in the dirty air series sounds like you might enjoy it, enemies(kinda) to lovers, sad sub plots, entertaining bickering, etc!
You never steered me wrong Haley! I read Hello Stranger by Katherine Center thanks to you and that's one of my only two solid 5-star reads this year. So happy you enjoyed Paradise Problem. I also agree about Carley Fortune, I couldn't really get into her book.
PEI (Prince Edward Island) is a stunning island (and province) on the east coast of Canada. If you ever visit Canada, most definitely visit the east coast (PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland - all provinces just up the coast from New England), as it’s sooooo beautiful (especially in the fall), and the people are so friendly! PEI is famous around the world for Anne of Green Gables - a classic you should most definitely read.
I NEED you to read The Atlantis Grail series!! It’s one of my absolute favorite sci fi / ya / dystopian books and I love it so much but have never seen it on booktok. It’s also a very unique book series, and I think you would totally love the main character Gwen, but also her best friend because she’s the best best friend! xx
I second that! I think she would love it. It is a book that really makes you think, which Haley seems to enjoy and has the intensity high stakes similar to Red Rising! Incredible series.
@@cozyyblanketthere is romance, but no spice at all. It is also a very small subplot of the book, so do not expect a lot of romance. It is a YA dystopian book about a world in which we have cured death. In order to keep the population under control, they have Scythes that are appointed that are responsible for killing people. So, the main characters are a boy and girl who have just been appointed to train as Scythes. You don’t get to choose if you are going to do it or not. Although a very dark concept, it is a very well written trilogy and really makes you think about the meaning of life and if our lives are only so valuable because of death.

Ok the only thing I can think about is how good your hair has looked in the past few videos. I absolutely love that length, your hair looks good short, long, and it’s so cute curled like that!
One of the book recs that I'd give you bc I absolutely think you'd love them is the Seven Sisters series. It's a romantic/historical novel. It'd be fun if you ever read that and put it in one of your videos! (The books are pretty long, each like 500-600 pages, but they're easily bingeable)
A 5 star Y/A Romance book that I just finished that I think you would enjoy is called Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. It's about a girl in her sophomore year of high school that looses her mom to cancer. Her mother's dying wish was for her to visit Italy and while she's there, live with the father she never met. She learns a lot about her mother's time in Italy, her mother's relationships, who her real father is, and all the while trying to navigate the grief, the jumble of emotions of living far away from home and falling in love with the literal boy next door. It's soo freaking cute and the PERFECT summer read and I had to physically remind myself I'm not in the Italian Countryside when I finished it.
Haley! If you enjoy academic rivals to lovers, you should read, ‘If You Could See The Sun.’ it’s very simple and easy to read. But I enjoyed it a lot!!
Still hoping for a Haley reading classics video ❤ And if she does, I recommend "A Tree grows in Brooklyn" it's beautiful and more accessible than most classics/ cult books and it's only from the 40's so not that old.

I think you would love 'You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle' It is both emotional and a very funny romance. It starts off with our main characters who are already engaged and very close to getting married but the thing is they just don't feel like it. Both of them have already fallen out of love. Now whoever cancels the wedding first has to bear all bills so now both of them start a series of pranks in an effort to make the other cancel the wedding. Their pranks are very funny and entertaing and you can just see the characters realise their own flaws and grow and watch their love grow. It just soo good!!
Hi Haley! Since you said that you would like a fixxer-upper kind of book! I read Mr. Fixxer Upper by Lucy Score and I LOOOVEDDD it, it's a slowburn romance of a documentary. Its so good!
You should try The Wrong Kind Of Weird. It is more of a teen romance but I as a 13 year old loved it. It is about a teenage boy and a teenage girl. The boy is more on the nerdy side and the the girl is more popular. Something happens between them, but before they know it another girl shows up. He does not know what to do but he figures something out. I personally gave this 4.8 stars it was really good in my opinion.
