Here's hoping that this game will reach the same kind of modding level as Skyrim has.
Bethesda has built a game on a engine with modding in mind, while promoting it. WB has actively taken down mods in the past for strict copyright ruling and share no support for the modding community thus far. Chances of this happening to that extent is rather unlikely...
@@macstar95 The advantage HL has is that it's unreal engine which people have been building up an absolutely ton of modding experience and knowledge with, that's why the VR mod came so quickly. If WB completely get out of the way it could approach Skyrim levels of modding imo.
Well, maybe not so much like Skyrim with all its nsfw stuff. WB will shut the entire thing down. Knowing the kind of degens out there, it's only a matter of time

Someone needs to make a mod that makes the Oblivion guard suddenly appear and yell "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!!!" when you cast an unforgivable curse.
Bonus points if it does that zoom into the guard's face.

Funnily enough a recent leak showed that there was supposedly quite an in-depth wanted system that was scrapped from the game. Worse offenses would lead to higher punishment/ consequences.
I used to have arachnophobia. Now, I've replaced it with a fear of wooden crates that might just suddenly jump out of no where at me.
Now I want a Danny Phantom Box Ghost mod 😂
there’s still spiders around too I’m stuck in the beginning where there is dead ones and I don’t wanna go in there because they still have fake dead ones laying around :(

Personally, the mod that I would really enjoy is a clothing one, and character customization, giving us more badass clothes and more customization options. I’m not interested in cheat codes.

@@back2wallstreet875 that’s a completely different ability than mist dodging, Unsupported flight is another ability completely which you see the Dark Wizards and Witches do in the game as well as the movies and described in books.

I just can't believe that there's no pale skin color in this game, and game is set in 1890 Northern Europe.
I hope someone makes the Elder Wand available as your primary wand. Played through that adventure, and Boi was it powerful.
i expect we may get a simple model/texture replacement for one of the wands that will look like the elder wand. I doubt there will be any power associated with it since wands aren't actually an equipment item in game with stats.

would be cool if they add apparition since we see the animation was put in. something similar to pushing a button, choosing a location in a menu (like hogsmeade) and then it shows us apparting there as fast travel
edit: i know apparating isnt learned until their 6th year but still 😔 would b cool
Apparition basically is a cannon fast travel spell. Kinda a missed oppertunity that they didn’t add that to the main game already

@Sebbir it's not Canon for a 5th year and it's not at all Canon as something to use on Hogwarts grounds which most of the game story takes place on.
Apparition is taught at 6th year iirc and it’s a difficult process
In general I had an issue with their choice of how to do fast travel they coulda just used a portkey exact same purpose of teleporting you somewhere and exact same limitation that you can only use it from one spot so why come up with something new that does the same thing as something we already had besides just imagine the crazy animation as your character is flung into the sky like a tornado when they grab the portkey.
I'm actually surprised you made time to explain WeMod. Not many people know about that. Also that skin color mod looks amazing because for some very odd reason every skin color in the game is so dark even on the lightest color.

Yeah, regular mods always start with infinite mana, infinite money, infinite xp and whiter characters, figures.
What this game desperately needs is a complete overhaul of the mechanics to make it more akin to persona / bully, having you needing to attend classes on time, study for tests, develop friendships and nemesis based on your personality and house, obey curfew at nighttime and have the possibility to stealth your way around the school staff at night with the risk of losing points for your house, a fatigue mechanic when you stay up late etc. The main quest would be something you do amidst these school life mechanics, like in Persona.
Also, mods to prevent you doing stupid sh*t anywhere like rolling command shepard style and throwing fireballs at kids on school grounds.
Sick idea that’s what I’ve been thinking. Wish it had this sort of engine

Personally if I was a 1000IQ developer of the game I would take it more seriously than just a minigame, and would develop it into a game as fleshed out as Rocket League which I would release as a separate free to play game that you can access either as a stand alone game, or via Hogwarts Legacy in game.

I'm so excited for visual mods and just small tweak/map mods. I want to change the color of the basic cast, remove animations from the map, and maybe just make the ai a little harder strategically.

The lighter/darker skin tones mod is really nice. For me personally, the lightest skin tone was too dark for the character I wanted to make (I wanted to make the character look like me and I’m just not that tan lol.) The darker skin tones are really beautiful as well. Plus they automatically apply to pre made characters which is amazing considering I’m towards the end of the story and would NOT have restarted just for pale skin.
I bet that there is going to be some really hardcore x rated mods for this game.

Oh God...
Petrificus Totalus on enemies should simply stun them for a few minutes. If other enemies find them, they can dispel it with Finite and the whole camp should be in search mode.
As someone who isn't afraid of spiders, seeing boxes slowly sliding toward me instills more fear in me than I thought it would...
This is why I got the game on pc instead of PS5. Modders never fail to add great stuff to games.

I got it on PC and Xbox Series X, Got the Xbox one after hearing the game uses Denuvo as I've had issues with that in the past but with the issues I've had on Xbox I'm starting to wonder if I should have just stuck with PC.
continuous dash would be a dope mod, you'd look more like a death eater and cover even more ground.
also a music mod (add in all original music from the movies), different broomstick mods, more dynamic weather, (snow not just for a chapter, etc)
The mod I instantly wanted was a broom unlock, fly in hogsmead, fly in hogwarts, land on the roof and fly out the astronomy tower. You gave me the power of flight and keep strapping me to the ground. Let me be free.
Not flying in hogsmead is part of the lore that's why you can't.

Yea the colors could be deeper in some areas
The biggest thing, in my view, that would complete Hogwarts Legacy, is multiplayer. Being able to RP with other players, even if limited to specific areas, would be tremendous. Duels, quiditch, all these things with multiple players, especially if actually released by the Developers themselves later down the line will seal Hogwarts Legacy as a long term success.

YES, we need makeup. And the hairstyles are the only graphic in the game that doesn't look well done to me... especially once you get into the lighter tones.

I'm actually hoping someone could message the Devs on twitter for this. I wouldn't mind paying for it as a dlc either I mean it's already in the game because the enemy AI does it.
Watching your gameplay, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that dodges far more often than I block attacks.

I believe this game will have some of the most comprehensive DLC we've ever seen.
90% of the game was supposedly edited or cut before release, so yeah I think you're right.

Yeah that would likely have been the absolutely smartest thing hogwarts legacy could do for surviving for a longer time. Things like that could really help the game staying relevant for a longer time, I do agree though that it is unlikely even if it would fit so well for the game.
I am waiting for posh spiders (monocles and top hats)... or changing the sound of wand attacks to pew pew.

I wish there was a way to recolor clothing or had more clothing in game. Also wish you could customize and make your own brooms like you do the wand.

Some mods I think people want:
- Character customization (At mirrors)
- Clothes customisation (colours)
- More wand customisation options (unlocked colours + more textures and shapes)
- More room of requirement styles
- More object/furniture styles
- (if its not already possible) sellable potions and ingredients
- custom spells
- Rideable creatures (I'm not sure how you'd do this)
- Better broom controls
- Pets (cats, owls and frogs) that follow you around (jump onto or fly next to your broom), can stay in your house room or room of requirement. + Different styles of each, plus a pet system like the creatures where you can feed and play with your pet.
Well you can already ride creatures. Both flying and land mounts. So it wouldn't be too hard to add in more
Also brooms get upgraded through a side quest which make it better, and you can remap anything you want. Like I made the button to descend my RMB, and it works perfectly

also Furniture animations sit on benches/chairs/sofas they give us a whole lot to place down in RoR and we cant interact with them
also give us NPC animations such as sit down anywhere i've seen NPCs sit on the floors and on the grounds wish we can do that along with leaning animations Railings/walls/columns to put it lightly Relaxation Animations/Idile Animations when your character is not moving
No "BUILD IN PHOTOMODE".... Laughs in ANSEL :^
I'm so excited for a coop mod. That the only thing this was really missing for me. Being able to run around with my buddy and avada kadavra folks
I have archanophobia , and i really hate spiders , but this makes me fight more efficiently as i want to get rid of them from screen as soon as possible 😅.

I hope they mod the npcs to be more like gta npcs. By that I mean if you attack a student they will run away or fight back. And if you attack people in general you get a "wanted" level and you have teachers or grown ups attacking you. Or maybe just an infinite fight club
Or even better you could have Auras chasing you. Imagine a crazy 5 star broom chase

Can’t wait for a curfew mod, even if you have the ability to switch night to day at anytime it would make the world feel so much different at night since you would have to sneak through the castle

I'll never understand why some companies and people get their panties in a twist over people moding or exploiting in a single player game where no one else is affected by anything you do.
I saw these yesterday on nexus mods. I'm really happy to see that mods are even possible because it really opens things up for good mods in the future. The wemod trainer is a cheat mod which I'm not looking to mess with, but I'll take game enhancements.
@antagonistx obviously, it is most used tool to any game. It was always either nexus or steam workshop. Or add it manually, but that is impossible sometimes.
@@antagonistx4376 Yes. It's safe. Obviously there can be risks with downloading random mods, especially small ones, however the website has a built-in virus check and the mod page shows whether it was reviewed safe in green, manually reviewed in blue, and red if it's not reviewed at all.
I'm really hoping for a mod that unlocks the other House's common rooms for you to explore.
Also, being able to decorate your bedroom and sleep in your bed. I don't know why, but the lack of that specific ability makes a huge difference in level of immersion.
The skin tone should have made the steps more even between the colors... and make the last dark one darker. I would love a first person view. Not sure if the Wingardium Leviosa does what it is supposed to do to trolls, but if not they need a mod for that.
Hope to see a simplistic mod of being able interact with the furniture in the game. I want to get that red dead interaction with hogwarts and just sit in chairs, lay in bed, and use the unforgivable curses on hufflepuffs😂
i need an unlimited gear mod. Why the devs decided to limit the amount of gear you can have? the world may never know.
i want npc mods that make the game more realistic. Having professors go to bed at night rather than standing around in their classroom, prefects that patrol the hallways at night looking to catch you out past curfew, a working in game clock, and a class schedule that forces you to attend class at certain times of the day.
I just want a mod that removes the outdoor no-fly zones. But good to hear about the mod that unlocks the PS5 exclusive content, as long as it doesn't get patched out. Exclusivity is toxic in the gaming industry and should not be supported.
Honestly Game devs/publishers that copyright strike youtube videos featuring their games are just shooting themselves in the foot. This is 100% free advertising and brings in more customers which equals more money.

Florence Malfoy of mine is quite pale, snow white like.
Having the loot drops be upped is absolutely huge! I been saving and resetting for better loot and sometimes it’s taken me 40 plus minutes of resets to get a higher gear 🙂 so I’d probably do that one.

Invincibility and unlimited ammo (magic) seems like a good topic to discuss. The most fun I had doing this was in Crysis with the rocket launcher.

All these mods and I have yet to see a 'My Immortal mod'. Maybe someday Ill see my personal Gothic edgy wizard game come to life.

Not many people know about it, it was one of the nospells cd edit mods. Added 4 new spells supposedly but they were all basically fiendfyre. It's op though

Quidditch Mod + MP Qudditch, more Clothes, more Location and Secret Pathways, Movie locations like the Chamber of Secrets, more Brooms that look like the ones from the Movies, Locations in London which you can visit, things like Curfew, Pointsystem, more Penaltys, more Spells, more Quests. Theres so much Potential. But even if not, that Game is already amazing.

Don't forget Luke Ross' VR mod! He was super quick and had it out on the first day.
The only mod that I want is to increase the amount of spell slots. 4 to 8 or even 12 and 16. And be able to key bind them all.
ngl i was a bit confused as to why the lightest skin option looked like my character got a nice tan in this summer.
(and yes, that's what "tannned" looks like on me) But hey, I'd rather experience this than make-up brand foundation like skin options.
