Is peptic ulcer different from ulcerative colitis. My doctor told me I have peptic ulcer but the pain is becoming too much with so many other symptoms. No medication seems to be working because we have no good doctor over here in Nigeria. There is a possibility that they Diagnosed me wrongly. I don't even know what to do again.
peptic ulcer disease is different from UC and im sure you were tested before he diagnosed you..PUD is like having a wound in your stomach,stomach secrets gastric acid so imagine acid on an open wound..of course you will feel pain..your symptoms will determine the exact type of PUD and you also do not stop taking your medication and watch the food you eat..fried foods,spicy foods may trigger the pain

It varies person to person. You’d need to find that out for yourself. Keep a food diary and try anti inflammatory foods. Good luck
