I have really enjoyed this great video, it must've been trimendous years away back then when there was lots of paddle Steamers plying on Loch Lomond, the last time I was on the steamer - Maid of the Loch was many years ago with my father and mother & we enjoyed the sail , so l very much hope that they get the Maid of the Loch sailing once again on Loch Lomond.

I have pictures of me on her. My mother worked on her and the Maid.

That's crazy to me. I only remember cruising up to Inversnaid on the Maid of the Loch in the 50s-60s - never saw a second steamer. Did they ever exist at the same time, on the Loch?

Amazing colour! Can you tell me what film stock was used, and what year this was?

It is possibly during the war as there were a notable number of soldiers possibly on leave.

1940s and wartime as there were a notable number of soldiers on leave on the steamer. At least 1945 perhaps.
