We hate driving that road along Loch Lomond too! Someone clipped our wing mirror when they were driving on the wrong side of the road around a corner the other week!
Oh yes! The UCI... we got stuck in Dumfries a few days ago! Managed to escape though! 😂

Glad it’s not only us that hates it… hairy scary moments all the way along even as a passenger…. & yes it was very easy to get caught out with the road closures if you were precise on where you were going 😂 Thank you for your comment 🥰
Spent many years travelling to Glencoe pulling a trailer and hated that stretch of road . At least they got rid of the bad bend where many an accident nearly had people in the Loch . It was just over a year ago when visiting friends that the wife and I were having lunch in the Ardlui hotel garden overlooking the loch when we decided wouldn’t it be nice to own a motorhome and tour Scotland. We returned home the next day . Went to the NEC a few weeks later and put the deposit down on our first motorhome . Hopefully will have it soon and our first trip will be back to Loch Lomond .

Hi All, The A82 Loch Lomondside can be a little daunting , specially for inexperienced or new drivers, I used to drive it in a lorry every day , the secret is to watch well ahead and anticipate . keep your speed down and keep to your own side of the road, drivers of large vehicles (buses and lorries )wll be right on the centreline , so keep left!🚒
It’s stunning to drive round there but agree it’s a tight route for sure in a Motorhome - great vlog

@@naturalbornglampers agree think that’s the issue for the road as you want to take it all in while at the same time making sure no one takes your wing mirror off 😂
