$500 for like 3hp gain. This was once worth it when the stock filter was tiny and you could tune the car to take advantage of the intakes. Now the OEM intakes are big and have big filters, and you can't even make the tube bigger as that would mess with the tune.
Well, I'll say it looks better than the rest. Steeda tubes look hideous and cheap in my opinion. K&N looks decent, but their no box/open filter/metal tubing is trash for the price they are asking. These tubes are going to be less in diameter than stock and Steeda. Why can't they just seal the top of the box with a lid and see thru window. I will give it to JLT on the price point. This is close to what I would have paid for one, single tube, CIA. I think Steeda had the right idea, kinda. Use the stock boxes, just give me a nice-looking, smooth bored tube to replace the rough, carbon filtered filled stock ones, and I can pick whatever high flow filter I want. And, let's not charge $6/700 for some tubes lol. I think I'm gonna stick with a high flow filter, the stock intake, and remove the carb filters. Ford has done about the best they can do with regulations. The real power gains, while staying N/A, are gonna come from headers, res delete, and tune when available. The rest is really splitting hairs.
only time open tops improve things is with IATs on supercharged engines. IATs will climb at idle but cool rapidly when moving. its debatable if it even helps overall. otherwise its just letting hot air in and some would say an expansive noisemaker without a tune. Wont know for sure until they unlock the ecu. No reason for the computer to be locked in the first place other than ford being asshats. I like the Look and I'm sure it has a great sound. JLT has the first reasonably priced kit. I not a fan of the K&N using aluminum intake tubes. Just screams heat soak and way overpriced in my opinion. The factory tubes are a pain in the ass to keep clean with that open vent on the hood. My only other concern would be water intrusion into the open top box. I have the s&b filters on my car already would be nice to have a filter less option.

Those stock intakes look pretty good as is
Would look much nicer if it were carbon fiber intake tubes and air boxes.

When is this being released, I’ve been following it since SEMA 2023. The date on the site keeps getting pushed back month to month.
This! Just looked at the website today and it now said shipping at end of December 😢
Release date?
Dyno numbers?
They'll just do an irrelevant test like normal and claim gains...
