It's really funny how people complain about prices. 2 things, they have been in business for longer than most of people looking for a reason! Their prices are not top market prices! No where near it! They also have a lot of repeat customers and that too says a lot about them! They are out front and honest about everything! That you won't find anywhere else! If I could afford to buy a car it would 100% be from these people!
@danielfair4675 You got robbed. I worked for a Reconditioning company in Detroit that serviced all the major big 3 dealers in the Metro area. My car was a dealer demo with 265 miles, albino white w red interior they kept on the showroom floor. Fully loaded 5.0 5 speed hatchback and they threw in a case of accent tape with every color imaginable.
I like these videos and the comments of course are typical. Both are entertaining in their own way. Thanks for this video Nick. If I ever have $45k and you have a 1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport, I'll call you right away. Lurking until then. Happy New Year.
Just because you haters are too broke to buy this car, dont be talking crap on the dealership. I bought from them and they were straight, fair, and honest
For anyone hating on the price, get real. That’s a decent price for that car. I have a 1988 GT that I have just had a $15k paint job. But, you get what you pay for. I’ll never get that out of it but it’s what I like and wanted. People always stop and check it out and love it. When I drive my Tundra, nothing. Lol
Looks like a new steering rack was installed and from what I see it was not centered so the sweep is off most likely one whole turn of the steering wheel.
you can clearly see whomever painted that car painted the dash and some interior parts the same color as the car lol they even painted the steering wheel! that wheel should be black!! that’s a perfect example of what you’d call a stuff and puff like most of the stuff in that lot. i wouldn’t pay 4-5k for that!!
In 1993 Mustang dashboard was alll one color and steering wheel so if car had red interior everything was red - the entire dash and steering wheel. I don't know, but maybe Ford started doing this starting with the late 1992 models. Earlier years yes, the dash was black and except the front dash pad and the steering was black.
Wow a spenser for hire mustang love thismodel, 5 ltr engine my favorite engine, such a nice mustang, manual cool, thanks Nick, some small repair you have a perfect mustang happy new year to you nick and your familly 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Nice car, fun car, I've had a couple. As mentioned in the comments, the rack was changed and not centered, not a big deal to adjust. The bigger deal is the horn not working. The clock spring is probably broken because of the extra turn in the one direction. That normally throws the airbag light on, the issue there is it shouldn't be an airbag car, that started in '93. Whoever buys this car should remove the seats, console, and carpet to make sure the floor pan isn't cracked. I've never seen a fox body GT that didn't have cracks in the floor pan. The metal tears at the seat bolts and the top of the tunnel. It also has the "off road" H-pipe, I like it (mine were the same way), it just may not be legal for inspection. I had to reinstall the factory H-pipe w/cats for inspection. Again, nice and really fun car, a couple repairs and just enjoy it!!!
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgateNothing says you are buying from a quality dealer like having the dealer talk smack. If you want a quality car stay clear of this place. They are the reason used car dealers are looked upon as scum.
The only way an Iroc with a 5.7 had a chance of keeping up with the old 5.0's was it it had a 5spd in it. There is absolutely no way and Iroc/Z28 with an automatic transmission could even hang with a 5spd foxbody back then.
@thefoxdoctor1072 there was never a 5-speed 5.7 IROC offered or sold to the public, ever. AND I'll kindly disagree with your statement, and here's why: FACTS 😁 Back in late 1986 I placed an order as a 21 year old on a new loaded '87 IROC with the 5.7, it msrp'd at $19,993.00 4 years later as a 25 year old I ordered a '91 5-speed GT at a msrp of $18,771.00 msrp. I owned them both as a pair until 1998 when I SOLD the GT to order a 1998 Toyota 4 Runner Limited (I'll comment about it at the end). I ran both those cars, on different occasions of course at Kil-Kare Dragway in Xenia, OH. Those 2 ran within 1/10th of a second and less than 2 mph of each other. It depended on the Weather, Humidity, Temp, ect. And I was and still am pretty good at operating a manual. I've got almost 40 years of driving them under my belt and still have 2 manuals now. There's a pic on my FB page under Dan instead of Daniel ... same last name of them sitting in my old driveway. The licenses plates read DANS GT & IROC 87 Just to show you I'm not B.S.'ing you. BOTH were fun cars, the Foxbody ... because of the solid rear axle handled like sh*t though when you got over 100 mph compared to the IROC. Other than that it was pretty even. I even split a few runs against a Grand National that a guy I knew owned, so don't believe all the hype about them. The gear ratio was the only advantage they had, and it was right out of the hole, if he got the boost right at launch. They'd only run about 124 mph on the top end though. 20 mph slower than the 5.0 & 5.7 Now the 4 Runner Limited, and I still own it to this day (it's in the pics also). I ended up having a TRD Supercharger installed, a 7th injector added, had the valve body re-worked to stiffin' the automatic shift points & quickness. Also had a BORLA Cat-back exhaust put on it. It did and still does do quicker 1/4 mile times than the GT & IROC I owned back in the day.

My Mom owned 87 Couger with the 5.0 and it was more refined and didn't sound like a Mustang. But I guess because it only had 150hp 😅
