Thank you so much, you saved me from sending back the watch, the main reason I bought it was for the blood pressure/ecg app and pretty mad at samsung for advertising that it was included without being clear that they would not support it in the US. Dante and you did an amazing service for so many of us. I read his instructions but will admit that it intimidated me until I watched your video several times. Don't think I could have managed it without the Bugjaeger site either. So, I want to thank all of you. The app does work on my watch 5 pro now and I am grateful. While I do have a medically approved cuff blood pressure reader and am able to use it to calibrate my watch, it's just not convenient to take it with me everywhere. When I have chest pains and the ecg app indicates a problem, I like to check my blood pressure before deciding if I should bother the people in the emergency room.
Oh, my gosh, after two hours of struggling with this, I finally got it after reading many of your comments. THANK YOU! I am 65 but "fairly" techy, but I've never gone into a device this deeply. I think the biggest issue was opening the correct Samsung Health Monitor. The icons are slightly different. Once I saw the difference, I uninstalled the old one, restarted my phone, and then reinstalled it during the process in the video. Do not install it directly from the Play Store. Good luck, and don't give up!
Thank you so much for mentioning the slight difference in the icons, it really solved my problem. The app on my oneplus android wouldn't open and I noticed the difference between he icons, but didn't know there was more than one app to install on the phone.

A while ago I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and hospitalized. Bought this galaxy watch 4 to monitor it but I was disappointed when I realised that function is not available in my country. Thanks to you, now it's enabled and I can be peaceful.

I am SO BAD with tech stuff but I got it too work!!! I had a little trouble because they updated it to "wireless debugging" so I panicked haha but if you hit this problem don't worry! The IP address is still present! Everything you need IS THERE....just follow the steps in the video and type in the code your watch will give you!! If I can figure it out so can anyone else haha this vidoe helped a lot thx!

Thanks for posting this fix. One thing that got me hung up is that you have to load two pieces of software one on your watch 5 and the updated Samsung Health app on your phone. It was shown in the video but did not catch it in the verbal description.

Somehow downloading the files to my Pixel 7 did not work, but from my laptop to drive did, and the rest was a piece of cake due to your clear video (although I was a bit nervous as I have never done things like this before, and my BP did go up a bit I noted :). I have a problem. In the Bigjeager program, it doesn't establish conection with my watch, pop up a message "No address assosiated with host name". The IP is the same that shows up in the debug wifi section.

I had the same problem with an UK version watch, after following the initial steps, the Bugjeager couldn't find the watch, so I tried this: same settings as in the video but also Wireless debugging, there in the watch you could see Pair Device, a number XX.X.XX.XX:XXXXX, and a pairing code of 6 numbers, so after many times trying, in the Bugjeager, as ip address I typed just the first numbers before the two dots, thats XX.X.XX.XX and the 5 numbers after the two dots is the port so type them below, and below that is the pairing code from the watch, and then instead of connect, hit PAIR, and thats it, then continue as per the video. Worked for me ;-)

Thanks for the video! I was about to return my watch since I'm using with a Pixel 6 Pro and felt I wasn't getting the most out of the watch without those features. Wife has Galaxy S22 Ultra paired with her GW5 and had those features so I knew it was due to being a non Samsung phone. Now I can get the most out of the watch so I will keep it!
@@akosichosen1 I think I tried it two times because I failed on the first shot, can't recall of anything special I may have done to get it to work other than following the tutorial. Sorry, wish I could have been of more help.
@@akosichosen1 yes, that where your issue is at if you are trying to use the pre installed version. You have to download the modified version that the tutorial describes in order for it to work.
I'm looking for advice please. I have a Samsung Watch 5 Pro and a Galaxy S23 Ultra. BP was working fine since the watch 5 Pro was released. Several days ago, my watch performed a firmware update and now BP does not work. I've confirmed I am in Developer Options, Bluetooth off, ADB ON. The ADB debugging over Wi-Fi option is not available on the watch screen so I can not use the Bugjaeger app. to copy the Watch SHM to the watch. Any ideas as to how I can proceed? Thank you.
Bro, you're the best Screw the FDA for stalling approval on a freaking BP and ECG feature. But they have trouble approving other things! Maybe Samsung should ask for an emergency authorization And it'll be approved straightaway.

Help! When I try to install the file for my watch a prompt comes up asking me if I want to update the Samsung Health Monitor app. My options are to Update or Cancel. If I select Update it will fail and a message pops up. It reads, "app is not installed as package appears to be invalid." Where did I go wrong? I'm so close to having the entire process finished! For reference I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro and a Galaxy Watch 5.
Having trouble, the step to accept debugging isn't showing up on my watch- do i uninstall the SHM app from the watch? how do i uninstall the watch app.
Minor update to this procedure: In Wear OS 4.0, the section in the video that states WiFi debugging, will now say Wireless debugging on the Galaxy Watch 5/5 Pro. I used the procedure for Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic from TechnoProz and it works. The SHM MOD Companion connected to watch easier than Bugjaegger. Unfortunately, it is showing readings which are 10/12 points less than the digital monitor used by the doctors. Furthermore, sometimes it shows reading exactly the same as previously taken reading. I need your advice on how to get it to work properly. All the steps you say in your video, would they produce more accurate readings? Please help out. Many thanks my friend.
I'm in the US with Bluetooth watch 5. It would not allow adb to install the file. I'll keep trying. Update: I did got bp on the watch. And it's pretty snappy compare to watch 4. I like it.

For me, the Blood pressure is working but the ECG is not, it asks me to install a Samsung health monitor on my android phone, which was installed per the instruction, what do I miss?

Thanks for the video ... I was able to install the app onto my watch 5Pro.. I live in Ontario Canada. When I bought my Watch 5Pro it came with Sasmsung Health installed . But it only had the ECG and No Blood Pressure... My watch 4 classic had both and worked great. So I installed both apps for the watch and for the phone .. so now both phone and watch have 2 apps each.. seems to be the app on the phones the stock installed icon looks normal and the one I installed has the wear W emblem on it. Inhale the 2 icons on my watch . The stock one has No BP and the one ininstslled has both ECG & PB. So when I use your app on the watch it tells me to open phone app.. I click the one with the Wear icon and it works .. when it tries to calibrate it says phones Disconnected but it's still connected . I tried uninstalling rebooting then reinstalling again and u getnthe same thing .. dosent recognize a compatible watch or says it's disconnected...

I read that its the feds in the US that disallow Samsung to have the BP installed already. They arent finished testing yet it said. Samsung has had this available in some shape or form for 2 years now. Cmon Feds!!!

For me, the Blood pressure is working but the ECG is not, it asks me to install a Samsung health monitor on my android phone, which was installed per the instruction, what do I miss?
I used ADB debugging through laptop. Thank you. It is working well.

Worked out on my watch pro, but you have to first download the watch shm then the phone apk, and it worked
how did u delete the apk file from your phone if you did that first...? i can not get it to load on my watch. i did the phone first.

Thanks for the video ... I was able to install the app onto my watch 5Pro.. I live in Ontario Canada. When I bought my Watch 5Pro it came with Sasmsung Health installed . But it only had the ECG and No Blood Pressure... My watch 4 classic had both and worked great.
So I installed both apps for the watch and for the phone .. so now both phone and watch have 2 apps each.. seems to be the app on the phones the stock installed icon looks normal and the one I installed has the wear W emblem on it. Inhale the 2 icons on my watch . The stock one has No BP and the one ininstslled has both ECG & PB. So when I use your app on the watch it tells me to open phone app.. I click the one with the Wear icon and it works .. when it tries to calibrate it says phones Disconnected but it's still connected . I tried uninstalling rebooting then reinstalling again and u getnthe same thing .. dosent recognize a compatible watch or says it's disconnected...
Can't seem to connect to my watch, already enabled adb debugging+over wifi, set the correct ip and port to bugjeager but just keep getting connection timed out when trying to connect

I read that its the feds in the US that disallow Samsung to have the BP installed already. They arent finished testing yet it said. Samsung has had this available in some shape or form for 2 years now. Cmon Feds!!!
