I finally managed to install it....I was reading the messages on the forums....and read that u can download the files through Google drive....and it worked.....once synchronized....I was able to download the files on the watch....I calibrated the watched and it's back to normal just like when I had the galaxy watch 4 classic......
Same. I had a few extra steps to take when downloading the watch apk and to find them though. I also had a hard time getting the wireless debugging to connect - kept saying my port was blank even though i filled it out. Had to remove the new connection to pair new device a few times but finally got it.
I am using Samsung GalaxyM51 on my Galaxy watch6 classic I did exactly as per the steps shown in video, and SHM in phone and watch got installed successfully, however while configuring the ECG app in watch , on the phone I got the error saying no compatible watch found. I am on Android 12 on my phone. But seems OS version of watch is not compatible. Please guide, if I did something wrong.
I was able to get it all installed correctly. I was also able to get the companion installed which made it a lot easier to get the updates completed. As always, thank you for your help, it is greatly appreciated!

This worked great for my watch 6 and s23 ultra. However i did have to pause, rewind, look closer at what you were doing, and sometimes read the transcript under description only because you spoke so fast. But i eventually figured it out with a little patience and perseverance. Thanks!

@@Reallikemaik so far, everything has been working fine on my watch, but the Galaxy Watch Fan Edition (FE) was shipped with wearOS 4, even though it was released only 2 weeks before the Galaxy Watch 7. The Galaxy Watch 7 is shipping with wearOS 5, so I don't know if these instructions will work with the GW7 and wearOS 5.

I am using Samsung GalaxyM51 on my Galaxy watch6 classic I did exactly as per the steps shown in the video and except some initial technical glitch, after spending an hour of effort, finally was able to measure the ECG for the first time. For Blood pressure, i willneed to calibrate with BP measuring instrument , shall post the update once I have the BP machine handy with me. Thanks a Ton . Kudos to @TechnoProz ! I am a fan now. 😊

Out of habit I did the ol' IT turn it off and back on again. So I powered down both phone and watch, let them sit for a minute or two turned them back on and now it works! I hope your still not looking for answers but if you are I hope that this helps! Best of luck

Great video as always! I am having the same problem as others. I have a Samsung Note 10+ running Android 12 and a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic When I try to install the SHM MOD companion APP with the "App Manager" it starts but then I get the error; Install Failed; incompatible with current device or Android Version When I try to install with the "Package Installer" it starts but I get; App not installed as app isn't compatible with your phone. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
I followed all the steps and while connecting via wireless debugging, it doesn't connect and says watch doesn't approve incoming connection but I didn't get any notification in my watch like shown in video 😔
Double check the entire ip address. I had to change what it said on the top lines to match what my watch was showing. Then i had to add the last 5 digits of it under port and then the large code. Also i had to delete the new pairing under wireless debugging and try again a few times to get it to connect.
This is an awesome video, PERFECT. thank you so much. BTW, when downloading the watch app from inside the companion app, I have no idea where it goes. so I just downloaded it from the drive
I have Galaxy Watch 4 and had the previous Tiles and apps installed perfectly. But now that my watch has updated to UI5, the tiles no longer work and in fact were removed. When adding them in the Wear OS app on the phone, they do not work and I cannot get the permissions to update properly. Help! With this fix work for GW 4?
@@heloise5538 I also just bought Samsung Watch for my Xiaomi and I was shocked to learn "I needed a Samsung phone for BP and ECG"! That's ridiculous! I watched this tutorial; although it took a few hours in total (trying to connect the watch initially included) , I was able use the ECG and BP features. I have next result, my BP on average 140/90 , its my defaulte BP , and when i take pills to reduce pressure , my indications still had the same results, but when i check it in normal tonometr , i see 120/80. Its okey or not , watch bought only for this reason , to control BP .maybe i need to recalibrate ? Thank you

Everything looked fine, but the Health Monitor app on the phone says "No Compatible watch found". I have a brand new Watch6 Classic. I gave it all permissions during installation... I tried to go to settings, accessories, "Pair My Watch" and it just throws me into the Wear app. I went into my phone's settings, found the app, manually added "Nearby devices" - but that didn't help. After that I tried to disconnect Wear from the watch and reconnect. It doesn't connect anymore. Tried to remove the watch from the phone Wear app, and re-add, but it kept giving "Connection failed". Now trying to reset the watch. Any ideas?

I had the same thing. Make sure you download the right apps to be installed on the phone and on the watch. Download from the link he posted, the one that has A7 in the title is the phone one, and the one with wearOS is for the watch.
@predamihaititus Thanks. I was able to get it working just after posting. Works great! And the BP is always within 3 points of what my FDA approved cuff displays. I have no clue why the FDA has yet to approve the software for the US.

Just installed on my watch 4. Getting the watch to connect to the MOD app took a couple of tries. But once i got it i was able to finally install!!

Watch ultra has no bp approved in the USA. But I'll post a workaround soon.

I can't connect to the watch before the final installation. The approval should be popped up on the watch. But it never did come up.

It DOES work for non-samsung phones (at least, BP can cooperate with my Xiaomi phone).
