The Haltech on my 304 turbo engine I used the distributor on as timing calibration sensor, similar to the way you did to calibrate TDC then I electronically set all firing and injection from computer through Haltech as I had eight coils on the firewall and fired on compression and exhaust stroke to give true clean burn and set timing injection via exhaust gas analysis while on the dyno, was about 697 rwhp.cheers
I know im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Manuel Sterling thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Sadly this is even better than the Link ECU explanation I saw. Not to even mention that fact you can disabled injectors so easily on the Haltech. I will be buying a Haltech next time.... Made a mistake with the Link ECU it is a lot more basic as far as quality of life features. I can disable my fuel pump control on the Link but then it loses my settings, more annoying. Same with turning injection mode to off you have to redo the settings.
Great video and Info. Im still having trouble will Hall effect CAS & modified home signal dizzy for wasted spark. Any chance old school conversion info. So i can understand trigger synchronization and BTDC angles.
Was of the impression that once timing belt is on correctly then the information from crank n cam sensor would be enough for computer to determine crank firing angle...
hi sir can i know or can use youtube to show me the E750 how to set up the IGNITER signal i know have rask up and down how to check and how to set in E750 software and how to do it in safety way thank
Hi Team, what would seem to be a simple question to you, I hope. Gear=E2000, MSD dual sync distributor, EDxr8, with 1 Coil I thought I did the set up as per your How to set your TDC Offset Angle - Technically Speaking had the timing locked @ 0deg and offset at the 30 deg . all sweet then tried to start with a bit of mucking around added 180 deg and success. With this information do i just stick with it working like this or re phase the dist 90deg thanks for any help
Can we depend on this video for choosing 515 angle as a reference tdc angle for all 2jz vvti engines ? (With direct fire ignition and sequential injection)
scotty, im looking into buying an elite for my 2jz vvti. my question is what version would you recommend? and is it capable of controlling the stock dbw throttle system?
my l300 2008 mitsubishi van, , rumbles on 91 octane, when I accel at 100km/hr, sweetly on 95-98 octane, mechanic said he could not change the timing yet you did just that, is my mech a prick at a company that alleges "ultra tune"
hi sir i have the question about Rising and Falling Edge of the sensors in ing system can you show me like mitsubishi and honda how to check and how to set in the ecu software thank please make 1 youtube for this i am waitting you repaly
I already timing gun on my crank pulley, and it's not matching to cam gears. What to check for? I already checked the mechanical timing. It all checked out.
You might be on the wrong stroke. If the crank is off 1 revolution it will still look right but the cam will be 180 degrees or half a revolution off. Try adding or removing 360 degrees from the offset.
Jacque Minogue Pork :) Probably musical tuning fork to get the tones right moog uses in his daily professional life in music industry :) But tuning PORK on the other hand ... can u help?
Not sorry to correct you B B but I teach this to school kids and it is a 4 stroke that has 5 cycles or events, Intake, Compression, Ignition, Power, Exhaust
This is exactly what I needed to see! Time to go check my engine

I love learning about technicalities which I do not yet understand. Thanks very much, Tuning Fork!

@Damon Holden instablaster ;)

@Manuel Sterling it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Damon Holden You are welcome =)
Great job man i love learning new ideas with cars . Thanks man
Another fantastic video, please keep them coming. Could you make a tuning tips video also?
+That Guy There We have one in the pipe line:)
Very useful stuff. I can't see cam sync marks line up.
awesome vid love how its so fine and adjustable
How would you do this of you are coil on plug?
How do you tell tdc intake and tdc exhaust apart?
Thank you so much for this video!
Scott that was a good video. Learned heaps. Rex in NZ.

Is it weird that my 2jzgte TDC offset angle is 3 degrees to fire at TDC? And also it only flashes at TDC compression right?
So if the offset gets changed by another tuner will the ignition map be out?
Hey scot can i do all that before calibrating all the sensors?
All about that boost, bout that boost...
HT051470 is this part still availible anywhere?

One of our tech support guys will be able to help you out with this - pls contact support@haltech.com
So it is going to be 515 degrees on the ecu for ever? Or is there’s a way to reset it to zero?
it a way to let the ecu know where 0 is
On the software, lock option is -60 to 60 degrees, why?
36-1 but is 58-2 in the setup, but awesome tutorial, thank you.
exactly that is what I was gonna say

No
Great 🎥

Rusty Shackleford get the 2500 because it's for 6 cylinders and 8 cylinders
Rusty Shackleford we all know it's you Dale gribble. You're not fooling anyone "Rusty shackleford" lol
What is the most you can advance the 2jz motor on the crank....i seen 10 degree's....and does it give better power ? Thanks
Every motor is different, we advise you check with your engine builder and tuner.
What about VVT-I engine

Rising edge is the start of the signal traveling up and falling edge is when the signal starts to ground you will need a scope to see this
It's ZED Scott!
What a 1992 2jzge nonvvti crank setup
The shop casually has a 2JZ test bench. Can't say anything but me being imperssed

@@Jinjenia0 i got it all fixed. Exactly what u say.👍
Tuning Pork makes videos?
*fork, I wonder where he got his inspiration from.........
Jacque Minogue Pork :)

blackcarmafia Marty needs to start a cooking show!
blackcarmafia Rake WILL love it :D
Jacque Minogue will he than, after a gigantic dinner fit in Moogs Honda??
I'm no good in English, so I'll explain in Japanese.
so your name's scott. sorry but no.
Tables are too simple, lemme see that C code 😛
Sorry, I have to say it. But that is not a 4 stroke engine. It is a 4 cycle engine.
Exactly the same thing, but whatever.
Not sorry to correct you B B but I teach this to school kids and it is a 4 stroke that has 5 cycles or events, Intake, Compression, Ignition, Power, Exhaust
It is not well understood because it is not well explained.
