I really love the Ikko OH10. Should I get the Kiwi Ears Melody or the Kefine Klanar? Or maybe you have some other IEM suggestion for sub $100 that's more similar to OH10?
I'm planning to grab a few sets of IEMs to compare for myself. I heard your comments comparing these against the Klanar in that video, and based on description, I'd say I lean toward the Klanar, which I'll likely get alongside the S12 Pros for comparison. That said, if you consider these to be sub-$100 podium finishers, regardless of driver type, I'd be interested in how these compare alongside the EA500, especially since I've seen a few comments stating these Kiwis are voiced with characteristics that border a dynamic driver.
Hello, I am a musician on the side (Bass Guitar) and currently use Linsoul KZ ZS10 PRO X IEMs. I ordered these and a pair of Raptgo Bridge IEMs over prime day (They were both on sale for $70). Any thoughts on using either IEM on stage?
Just bought mine for 80$ last saturday , and just want to ask how does it compare to more expensive planars such the S12 and the HeyDay in terms of tuning and tech?
S12 is more technical and has better detail retrieval but it has a cooler tone. Melody has more mid-bass and lower mids body than Heyday. It's warmer and more fun. Heyday is brighter and its treble is more forward.
One reviewer said that you will have a hard time deciding which one is which when you compare this to sub $1000 iem If you change cable and eartip. Im not sure if it is true.
How about compared to the TinHifi T3+? I love the T3 sound, but the shell is uncomfortable for me in longer than 2-3h sessions. This looks comfortable and hitting the same kind of sound profile.
Have you tried EQing your hexas? I'm not a bass head by any means but I do listen to a lot of drum and bass, and by EQing my hexas I was able to get more than enough bass for my tastes
It's stupid that the Harmon target for iems got the clout that it did when I think it was created based on approx 15 employees' preferences and problematic methodology iirc. I've already got a v shaped tuning with the oh10, so I'll probably pass on these unless there's another compelling reason.
Great review. It’s great to see KiwiEars stepping outside of the norm and bring a much more fun signature that is very well done to market. Cheers..!
Couldn't agree more!

The Klanar is closer to OH10 but has a more reserved bass. I think you would like it.
Funny vids!! Thanks, always happy to hear yours reviews!
Thanks for watching!
Im going to say it.... These are my favourite iems for 2023.
No shame in that! They are excellent value.
great planar ! more bassy than z12

Thats the comparison I have in mind. Have you gotten around to getting these?
These are warmer than the EA500 but just as strong technically thanks to the speed of the driver. I'd say Melody hits a bit harder in the bass too.
Hi David, between the Kiwi and the Basn Mix PD which one would you recommend for rock, classical and jazz?, thanks!!
I'd pick the Melody for rock and jazz and Mix PD for classical. Overall, the Melody suits me better for sound and comfort.
I just bought the cadenza and melody to see whats up. Do you prefer one to another?
Yes, I prefer the Melody. Something about the Cadenza doesn't work for me. I think it's the softness of the treble and percussion attacks.

Both should be fine but noise isolation not optimal.

These good for someone who listens to edm, Dubstep, big room house a lot?
About size, is Melody bigger and heavier than Klanar? Which one is more comfortable? Thanks.
What budget IEM (under 50dollar) is the best that sounds like Melody?
One reviewer said that you will have a hard time deciding which one is which when you compare this to sub $1000 iem If you change cable and eartip. Im not sure if it is true.
Don't believe everything you hear! (LoL)
hi, great review would you recomend this ones or the 7hz dioko, for someone who listen more shoegaze and rock, thank you beforehand
I would choose this every time (Dioko is not good).

Check out the Simgot EA500LM.
I love mine a lot!
i had the choice between quartet or these neither have many reviews and i havent had an "expensive" pair of IEM's before so i went with these instead
Good choice!
How does it compare against kiwi ears quartet ? & Tangzu divines Dudu ?
What would you choose between this and the Moondrop May? Both seem to have a similar goal
I would choose this. May sounds like it's trying too hard. Melody is warm, but it sounds natural.
@@PrimeAudioReviews brilliant, thanks!
An IEM should have character and not just designed to meet a common target. I’m glad you are highlighting this issue 👍 Sparrow fart 😂😂
Hmm, sometimes I forget that people actually listen to what I say. 😆
@@PrimeAudioReviews 😂
Are these good for bassheads? Is it worth exchanging my truthear hexa with this because hexa have very less bass.

Do these take alot to drive them, like will i need a strong DAC to get the fullness out of them?
You can run these off anything, they're not power hungry in the least.

How does it compare the Timeless?
It has more body and stage depth than the Timeless but it's not as resolving.
Already on sale for $80.
Yes, spotted that.
This vs. The quartet? (If the treble seems too spicey here?)
Quartet has a buttery smooth treble.
@@PrimeAudioReviews I've actually bought them since, and they're quite nice, though they seem to have sibilance. Is there any fix for that 🙃
Make sure you're using the right eartips and getting a proper seal. Apart from that, you could use some EQ.
Hi sorry I'm a noob. What replacement cable would you recommend?
Tripowin Zonie
@@scorpioassmodeusgtx1811 yo bro thanks much!
This or simgot Ea500lm?
This if you want something warm and laid-back/non-fatiguing. The EA500LM has a larger soundstage but it is brighter and leaner.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks man...I think simgot ea500lm I would prefer
can i connect this Earbuds to the PC throw a Goxlr?
Yes absolutely you can.
Thanks ! @@PrimeAudioReviews
Can u review the kz castor bass edition
I don't have a spot for that one at the moment!
Which dap is that?
That's the new HiBy M300.
Is that a flat 2 pin?
Yes, it is indeed.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thank you
Hi#Prime vs delci ?
how is this compared to the hbb kz pr2?
This is warmer and has more body. It sounds more natural than PR2.
how does it compare to Klanar ?
--I did a comparison of both of them in both of my reviews...-- Actually, just in my Klanar review I compared them.
theres so many best sub 100$ lol
It's a budget audiophile's dream right now lol
Pandа (P1 Max) better this Melody and S12.
Wasn't P1 Max more?

Your goal is complete!
