A little tip from a road crew… heat those ear hooks up with a hair dryer( don’t use a heat gun) and you can form them to your liking, hold there till they cool off and you’ve got it!
Love the Hexa and also the aria and t3+. Just different flavors. Depending on context I prefer using one over the other. Although i feel it won't suit a lot os people's taste, it has the main merit of offering a good an unusual experience/ sound signature. I really love using it with more complex and speedy genres like progressive rock/ metal and take advantage of it's excellent instrument separation. Everything is decluttered and you can really listen to what every instrument is playing whithout effort. Even sounds in the background you can easilly discern. This is something i can't get with most of iems around the same price range.
@@PhoenixDecim be aware it doesn't have that Weight/ Kick down low. It's more on The cleaner SIDE. I Guess there's always a tradeoff One has to BE willing to make
@@JoseFerreira-zb7wh thanks for the heads-up! I dont mind the lesser tone weight and bass slam. I'm willing to make that sacrifice for better layer separation and imaging. I was thinking of getting these for more analytical purposes.
Agree 100% with your review. Hexa is following the new trend of leaner bass to enhance definition. For me, I had too put narrow bore tips to enhance the mid bass. Still I like more my Tinhifi T3 plus but both complement each other. For me, Hexa is good for long listening session, modern and not hip-hop music.
hey how would you rate the t3 plus againsts this hexa and aria, I used to own arias but theyve gone bad and i need a replacement. I loved the nice rumble of the aria but the trebble was fatiguing
This was helpful. Seemed less hyped than some in Crin's camp too! The price is getting so low that I'm considering multiple sets - and then switching sets according to mood and genre. There goes the environment again! Keep the reviews coming...
I have both the Hexa and T3 Plus and I hear the differences exactly the same as you. Both are easy and enjoyable to listen to, but the T3 Plus is simply less “boring”…
The mids in the Hexa aren't thinner, you can't have "thinner and darker" and still have mids 😂 this is also the reason why you say the soundstage is intimate, it's because the low-mids are "not Harman", very close to linear. That's above bass, around the fundamental if deeper vocals, and that makes vocals thicker than most Harman iems, which in turn is very close to my tuned Audeze or Neumann 2.1 studio monitoring setup. To fix the midbass issue, a simple 0.5db wide bell at around 80Hz made them super close to my studio references 🎉🎉
In terms of separation Hexa its got more instrument separation than Olina SE and vocal cause it was a hybrid iem, but little bit lack of dynamics. but Olina SE is absolutely great too even if just single DD, have a great layering, instrument separation and also the Olina have a more way better dynamics. Olina SE was a champ in terms of soundstage capabilities at this price point, its got a depth, height, width. Its just have the distance more like 3d against the Hexa, Hexa is more like a compressed sounstage imo.
Not sure if it’s cause you’re Aussie or I’m just dumb and haven’t caught on but you sound very similar to DankPods… You’re just missing the energy lmao
Hi, i got a pretty old phone (samsung galaxy s8), do you think my phone will be abble to drive those decently ? I mean i know it will not be ideal but still wondering if maybe my phone will drive those decently without too much drawback ?
sorry for this super late comment, but i enjoy games and music both equally would you say these(the truthear hexas) be better for that or the truthear crinacle zero reds, i enjoy being able to have depth perception and be able to easily place enemies in games but also enjoy my music just as much, i use apple earbuds currently so i guess anythings a upgrade lol
@@vool9031How are your reviews after 4 months? I am thinking to buy these instead of going for the red/blues and is there any other iem at similar price which u think would be better (I also equally like music and gaming😊)
@@Glenn056 I'm very treble sensitive. I was thinking of getting the s12 until a few reviews mentioned treble. What would an alternative be similar in price?
@@spamcan9208 i dont have any issues with treble. I dont think it dumps on these either they just work differently. These use 1 dynamic driver and 3 balanced armatures. So youre gonna hear sound from those things in a different way than planar. Planar is fast reacting and clear and snappy. Hexa is smoother, clear but the parts arent as snappy which isnt a bad thing it just means its a different type of sound its hard to describe but i have both and like both equally. I do like my s12 better though because i like fast responsive quality and clarity but i still love the hexa.
I want to use IEMs for Video-Editing. "DUNU Titan S" or "Truthear Hexa" for Video-Editing projects? Or do you recommend "TIN HiFi T3 Plus" or even other IEMs for Video-Editing projects?
I'm stuck between the aria or hexa. I listen to a lot of music and media content for a couple hours while working with my fiio k5 pro dac amp. I also play games as well. I would like more details with vocals and instruments but also want the wide sound stage with the arias. What would you guys decide? Current headphone is the 58x and 6xx.
@@bfkc111 I got them and he's right about the bass hitting you. I think I'm going to eq the low frequency a bit down because it's a little too much and over shadows the rest of what's going on when I'm playing games. But so far they don't seem weak or thin. Could need a little more clarity in the mids but for $80,It's not that bad.
Can you also make a review with the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro? They also have their Sennheiser IE 100 Pro as a wireless option. Those IEMs are supposed to be pretty good for 100,- €. Wireless version is 150,- €
Are you getting a good seal because they are basically a blessing 2 but cheaper. I use the Spinfit W1 and they sound fantastic. Note they are a little harder to drive then some IEM's so more power the better which increases that bass too.

I'm wondering if you tried the narrow bore tips. The Hexa' sound changes more than some IEMs.
Any latest basshead iem suggestion
There has been very few IEMs for bassheads recently. I guess the Whizzer HE01B would be the closest I've heard for a while.

Zero blue or hexa for gaming? Specifically r6 siege
About to buy hexa for siege, you buy one?
Hexa or s12?
It pairs really well with any ESS dongle DACs
Is it? Then it might sound great with my Qudelix 5K.
is it good for metal and hard rock music?
Yes, indeed.
Reminds me of the symphonium iems in terms of design. A bit.

Yes, your phone will drive these just fine.
How long is the cord on the Hexa?
Standard. Should be around 1.2m
How is the hexa compared to Olina Se and which has more technical abilities?
Hexa is darker and more resolving.. Olina se wider soundstage.
