Who knew that it would end in almost the exact same way the Astros playoff run would start. At the end of Yordan's bat.
To me what is so special is that little kid. With two strikes on Pena he was in tears. The love for a team like that! We need youth loving the game! Then boom just like that Pena is a hero and Yordan has his shot. He didn't disappoint! Then that little boy was extatic! Imagine witnessing that as a kid first hand!
That kid was the symbol of faith! ❤
That kid and his emotional reaction to the game was the real star today. Alvarez should give that boy his jersey.

I don't even like the Astros and I have watched this a dozen times. Brian Anderson's call made it even more thrilling! And as a non Astros fan, I gotta admit their colors and their stadium are an October installment, I really do like to see them in the postseason.
I never lost hope. Everyone was calling this a Seattle win but I refused to believe it. As soon as I saw Yordan waa at bat, something told me this was it. I love baseball. Win or lose, forever orange...

Every time one of our players would strike out, he’d stand up and wave goodbye to them and mock us… and every time the mariners scored, he’d stand up and throw his arms ups and turn around and stare at all of us and evilly laugh😂 I WISH I WOULD’VE FILMED HIS FACE WHEN YORDAN HIT THAT WALK OFF HOME RUN!! They accomplished stuff already but they haven't accomplished getting past the wild card round in over 22 years. I want them to do so but this is the Astros we are talking about. This will be a sweep. You saw what happened to the Jays, just because the Jays got swept it doesn't make the Mariners good. The Mariners have to beat an AL juggernaut and the Jays are second to the Astros. The Yanks need to make it to the Finals this century to be a Juggernaut.

As an Astros fan, I won’t lie. I had a sick feeling in my tummy from the middle of the 2nd inning to that very last stroke of the bat by Alvarez…but that HR instantly cured my nerves! It made my emotions run wild instead, but in the best possible way! I’m still processing this glorious and amazing come back and that incredible walk off! Let’s GO Astros!! ♥️⚾️👍

i work at a little restaurant bar, quite generally speaking. I swear it felt like the music stopped the second he started to swing and then everyone just started screaming it was great. We were all a little down since we had been getting killed all game. Was just an incredible moment. lets hope we carry this momentum to the WS!!

I was in my garage cleaning and occasionally looking at the MLB Gameday on the computer. I thought Pena would be the final out. When he got the hit I new the Astros would win. I had to go inside to watch it on TV. I knew what Alverez was going to do. The suprise was what Hensley and Pena did.

This Hou team has done this time and time again…right when you think they are down they find a way they embrace the villain role…but they have dudes in the lineup and Bregman is Big Time, Altuve is the heartbeat, great pitching…and honestly they have a dude that can change the game with one swing….Yordan had a phenomenal game…even defensively made plays…but at the plate he is special only a handful every playoff teams has a dude like that and Sea got a young Stud in J-Rod…I mean the kid showed up…but in the postseason the long ball matters and changes game…man this is gonna be a series because Sea ain’t scared and Hou is the best AL Team the past couple of years
