Does your Fire TV device is rooted ?
Did you manage to get your device Bluetooth address? If so, did update your controller host Bluetooth details.

sixaxis not working with windows 8
Bruno is it the same for Xbox one controller
+TheOfficial Playzeyy - The 1st gen Xbox one controller won't work due to the lack of Bluetooth.
Hence the latest "Xbox One S Controller" should work as it has built in bluetooth.

Needs a ton of editing, watching 7:28 minute video of a tv screen flickering is a waster of time, there are some guides that take much less time to read thedroidguy.com/2014/07/the-amazon-fire-tv-now-works-with-a-playstation-3-controller-94734
with updated instructions in forums.
Ronald White - Thanks for the comment. I agree with you the screen flickering doesn't help and I could've simplified the tutorial.
However not everyone is a tech savvy. In the past I had many people requesting me step by step tutorials as they rather have long videos with full instructions than oversimplified ones.
As for the link I appreciate it as others may find useful. Conversely I would like to point out that your link is for a tutorial for "Amazon Fire TV".
My tutorial is for Amazon Fire Stick even though they share the similar names they are completely different devices.
